I love me some Kodama of the North Tree.
Kiki-Jiki is fun, but it shall soon be pretty damn useless. Kamigawa has very little that makes Kiki useful (it'll be funny in extended, though).
Squee, Goblin Nabob (aka, Captain Combo), is pretty cool...but way over used.
and the best legend ever is.......
VERDANT FORCE.
Because of the legendary pwnage that it delivers.

fav. legend, fav. legend......hhhhhmmmm, i would say Draco, but hes not a legend for some odd reason. So i guess that my fav. legend is Myojin of Cleansing Fire, followed closely by Myojin of Infinite Rage.

Legends are often too overused (plus i can never get enough from boosters and don't wanna go out and buy one legend that i don't really want) i'm just fine with the simple cards. i mean if you can win with it, it's a good card right? legends are just there cause Wizards needs something that coorisponds with the books, can give flavor text to other cards, and has some neato ability. so i don't have a fave.

Actually, Legendary status is considered a drawback (can't have more than one in play). Imagine if Umezawa's Jitte wasn't Legendary. It would be stupid as hell. Also, since something's legendary, it can bend (or break) the rules as far as cost-to-ability ratio. For instance. If Kodama of the North tree wasn't legendary, he'd cost 4GGG, not 2GGG, and probably have a lower power/toughness (I'm thinking 5/3 at the most). But, yes, you are correct about some of the cards corresponding with the books. The books are written with those cards in mind, not the other way around, so it makes sense to me. I mean....Toshiro Umezawa is so much cooler as a legend than if he was just some overcosted, generic samurai.
