I'm going to consider hiring crew members. I have headed this guild alone for so long, and I realize that you guys need to have more involvement in the guild in leadership positions. It is really not fair to just have my say on the going ons here. So, if you are interested go ahead and post your qualifications and desires for this type of position. I will still have to think of some guidelines so I will post those soon, but I want you guys to start thinking about this now. I hope to hire a few of you!

Requirements: 1. As a mod you must promise to try to check the guild every time you get on Gaia. If you are able to, please visit at least once a week.(just to check in and all that) 2. Uphold the rules of this guild and the Gaia TOS. (in your actions, and in reprimanding those breaking the rules) 3. Uphold the truths of the bible, and keep everything as non-denominational as possible. Make clear what is your personal opinion/belief and what the guild represents (discussing denomination is fine, but as far as outreach/advice we should stick to the core beliefs of the bible, opinions on controversial topics such as abortion, homosexuality/other sexual sins, death penalty, and others as they cause problems should not be enforced as truth from a mod position; which means you can't ban/modify users/posts because of their opinions of that subject) 4. If I assign you as specific duty, please follow it to the best of your ability.(if you can't for some reason please talk to me about it) 5. I ask that you stay in the guild for at least a month before applying for a mod position, and I think a minimum of 50 post should be enforced as well. (I can make exceptions but don't count on it) 6. A mod can not ban members without my permission and must provide a good excuse with evidence to back their claims. I reserve the right to revoke you crew status at anytime, especially if you break any of these rules. Keep in mind the rules are subject to change at anytime, and I'll update you when they do.
Positions:
If I were to break down what I do into positions, here are the roles I would assign: Peace Keeper: This role is to enforce the rules, issuing warnings, editing/deleting illegal posts, and locking down threads that are out of hand. Archivist: This role is to organize the threads(main page and sub-forums), making sure threads are in their designated areas and pointing out where to find old threads to those who are reposting old topics. Welcome Committee: This role will be fulfilled by welcoming new members by pming them when they are accepted, and chatting with them in the new members thread(or when they announce themselves in the fellowship hall). *I may split these roles a little more if they prove to be too big. Also keep in mind I will allow multiple users to fulfill these roles, so we can have 2 more archivists/Peace Keepers if enough people need these roles* --I'm also thinking about going more into out reach and/or starting up a charity, so I will appoint roles as they are needed-- Meet the Mods: The Samurai: The creator of the guild back before the guild system even existed. Thanks to his dream we have the guild we now have today.  Japi: The captain of this guild when it was introduced, thanks to her donation we were able to transfer this guild to the guild system.  ThesmilingchocoboofGOD: A veteran of the guild, long time member since before the guild system.  xWillowxMCRmyx: Formally known as JisuMisu who has been around for a long time as well.  Caterham_Paladin: A fun loving guy that loves to joke around and help out where he can.  Esmurda: An insightful, wise person who is very helpful.  wfc.guild: Right now, the captains tool for acting as the account for guild related activities.

Ooh, moderating positions. Here's my application for the Jesus Freaks Hangout (I was accepted as a moderator there, by the way.); I wrote it about a month ago, so some things may have changed. I'll star anything that has changed and explain it at the bottom. My old application OKAY. I wanna be a mod. I have an informal moderator application in my join request; here's a copy of said join request. "FIRST OFF. This is Kuroi Kokoro no Mendori; I'm almost certain I'm remembered, even if it's only as "THAT guy". xD My first account was banned because I advocated acceptance of sexual whatevers currently classified as paraphilias; though this does fall under free speech, Gaia felt that I was un-American, to which I concurred. That said, I'm appealing that ban, and I'd like to rejoin on this account, because I'm a tad low on awesome Christian guilds (See "None".)* As you know, I love debating. I'd also be interested in becoming a moderator; though my personal beliefs are, admittedly, not what the majority of Christians would find acceptable, I feel I have as much right to be accepted as Christian as anyone of any denomination self-classified as Christian. I'm extremely active, and I have had experience moderating before: I am currently the oldest moderator in the Gaian Gay and Bisexual Boys Guild,** and before that, I was the leader of three guilds on Neopets, with member sizes ranging from 28 to over four hundred. If I ever aim to become a moderator in a guild, it generally takes me about a month to be invited. Though I am very outspoken in my beliefs, I am always fair and have never and will never ban or punish anyone for disagreeing with me or arguing with me.*** If you have anything else to ask me, please PM me; also, please don't dismiss my moderator application outright." My formal application is now below, I want to make sure I can get it in before the 8th. Username: Shiroi Kokoro no Mendori, Kuroi Kokoro no Mendori, Akai Kokoro no Mendori. I've always liked to be a part of anything that's going on. Often, I don't say much, but you can rest assured that I am listening and gathering information, and when I do say something, it is normally a complete solution to any problem anyone is facing.**** I also want to be in a position where I can more easily educate others on what Christian love and tolerance really means, as this is something that Christians often lack understanding of. (Hearing loss, eyesight loss, both severe, mild Asperger's Syndrome, moderate ADD; all hereditarily linked.) -I became Christian at four years old, but I have not been baptized yet as I'm not sure I fully agree with the beliefs of the denomination of church I'm currently attending (Such as their stance on literal baptism being necessary for salvation, as versus spiritual baptism.). -I am gay, and I do not believe this is a sin, nor do I believe other sexual attractions or behaviours are sins; I can back this up from the Bible if asked. -I am extremely liberal, and believe the total separation of church from state is necessary in order to be a truly just country. -I have always been blessed with a talent with words and an above-average intelligence; these combined have helped to foster a love of debate within me and I will happily argue Christian doctrine with anyone who wishes it, from any point of view. -I have extensive experience moderating guilds and forums; I am currently a moderator in the largest gay males' guild on gaia,** with over three thousand members, and I have been guild leader on Neopets with 20 to 400 members below me at any one point. -I do extensive research on other religions, and I can probably give more unbiased information on other religions than most other members of Christian guilds. -I'm amazingly modest. =D cool Love me. Okay: *I've now got one Christian guild on my guild list; I am not listed as a member in any others, though I am always active in the following guilds: Let The Fire Fall Warriors For Christ Not To Us The Underground **I was removed from this guild and subsequently banned a few weeks ago by a Site Developer; Admins are looking into it. ***I ban people for disagreeing with me if in that disagreement they show disrespect for the guild or its rules. ****Either it's a complete solution, and everyone agrees with me, or I'm suddenly Jesse Jackson at a KKK meeting. There's never seemed to be any middle ground. ^-^; Now, I'm hoping to get my main account back in the very near future, so I'm not going to look like a newbie forever. ^-^ I guess that's it. (feel free to pm if you want) Well, the first one: (Kuroi Kokoro no Mendori) was banned for "giving out contact information" and "belonging to a guild that contained possible members of currently banned-from-Gaia sexual orientations". (You know what I'm talking about, but saying the word could conceivably get me banned again.) The second one: (Shiroi Kokoro no Mendori) was banned because I pissed off a site developer who had decided to handle an in-guild TOS case he was not authorized to deal with. When he became abusive towards me, I filled out a feedback form, and when I clicked the submit button, I was banned. The third one: (Akai Kokoro no Mendori) was banned for belonging to a guild that encouraged free speech on Gaia and supported the continued discussion and eventual conditional acceptance of the aforementioned orientation. (The condition being celibacy towards the sexual object.) The fourth one: (lykongitsachicken) was banned because the earlier site dev had apparently been tracking my IP. I was banned from this account two hours after creating it, five minutes after finishing up some messages to Dri, Fubenkunai, and Xya (all mods/admins) The fifth one: (Everybodys Happy Now) was banned for an unknown reason. Possibly for bitching out some idiot on the ED who said all members of said orientation were automatically rapists and should be burned at the stake, among other nasty finales. The sixth one: (stopthebanningplease) was banned one hour after I sent a message to the site dev asking if he was the one who had banned my account. The account was three weeks old. This is my seventh account. ^-^ I feel I should let you know that I am a proud, permanently celibate member of the sexual orientation in question. (Please don't say the word, it'll call the admins down on us and this is a two year old account I just remembered the PW to; I like it.) Because I am being banned so often, accepting me as a moderator would mean re-adding new accounts about every two weeks or so, assuming Gaia continues to crack down on this rule. I am told there will be a legal brief coming out in a couple of days regarding Gaia's official position. Feel free to ask more questions, I'm not shy. ^-^
