Anyone else getting really annoyed with Gaia lately? First it was down for so long, and now I find if I let a window sit for a little bit it'll auto log me out. I use to be able to hit reload and see if there was new posts... now I have to login and work my way back here... which is really starting to annoy me...
Anyone else having these problems?

I'm having the lovely kind where it takes likes 2-3 times just to get to a page . . I can't see the 2nd page of the Member Lists for any of the Guilds that I'm in stressed and every time I post or send a PM I have to go and make sure to copy it . . because half the time they go and get lost on their way!!? scream
I love being on Gaia -- 'cause then I can talk to you guys about what I like, and not get silly comments like "grow out of it already" . . but I'm having to fight my way into the Guild all the way from the Login page (and I'm only armed with a Strength Rod for the Fishing minigame!! gonk )!

Ivey, the same thing happens with me if I let the page sit too long, or don't go back to the site for awhile. I think it has to do with security. If you always want to stay on, there's an option for that, but it's not recommended unless you're the only one who uses the computer you're on.

If you always want to stay on, there's an option for that, but it's not recommended unless you're the only one who uses the computer you're on. I know of the opiton to have it so I'm always logged on... but, even useing that it's not working. I'm the only one who uses this section of the computer, and I have a password so no one else can use it. So I don't mind staying logged in. This problem did not start till this last week... before that I had no problem with staying logged in.

I'd swear that it's probably another sideffect of the fishing game or the beginning of the battle system, by way of the staffs already out, but that's just a guess . .

I ALWAYS have issues with Gaia. My issue is constant error pages. I have learned to copy whatever I've typed b/c half the time (probably more) I get an error page and have to paste it back into the window in order to try and post. stare Gaia's "issues" are what drove me away the first time but this lovely guild brought me bag.

Occasionally, I get logged out while in this Guild. And they tell me that I need to be signed in to view the Guild when I have JUST EFFING POSTED HERE!

GROUP HUG! That's what I do too! I've made some really long posts in the past, some of which were lost and deleted when I clicked 'submit.' So I've gotten into the habit of copying--just incase. Yes indeed, Gaia will log you out if you are inactive for a certain time... As Mystic said, it's probably for security reasons. What I have also done is bookmarked the homepage of the guild on my computer, for fast reference. Although I'm not one to stay on Gaia for too long, (probably 30 minutes at most at one time), the automatic log-out thing doesn't really bother me. Heh, *copies post*

well as some of you know from some of my other posts, gaia was giving me a problem where the server wouldn't work and i had to copy the link and replace the server with "dale" to get a page to load. this included when i wanted to paste a message i'd have to get the link of the "submit" button and change the server for it in my browser and it was a big pain! stressed
but it seems to be working ok now smile

Yea I was having technical difficulties which I thought were cutting off my cookies (on this site only), but no totally agree with the irritation!

Hey, I forgot to mention that I am also having a problem with viewing links... all links. (I am on a Compaq Presario Windows XP system.) I think Gaia has developed a new policy where links can only be viewed within the gaia server. This is causing me problems, because I can't view links unless I copy and paste the address to another window. It is most likely my computer that is causing the trouble, because on other computers, I can view links fine. Also, it may be due to some security settings set on my computer that I don't know about... I tried setting them to "low" to accept all cookies, but still no progress. Anyone else having similar problems?
