Haseo had wandered away from his siblings of pure anger. Only because they were all enjoying each other and playing foolish games. He didn't want to join in; those games were all boring in his white eyes. Slowly the red kit crossed a tree and stared at it, the leaves bristled and one by one they fell. Everything was not of color, it was just a dull, gray, boring color. Sighing impatiently Haseo padded away from the small area of trees and found a rock to sit on.
Haseo thought of his father, the one that had left them. He wanted so much but to meet him, maybe even learn of his own ways. Though it would impossible as long as he stayed around his siblings and mother.

Charu made her way curiously in no particular way. She had wondered from her five other siblings, mother, and father. Of course, it wasn't that she was mad at them. Quite the opposite. She loved her family. Though, adventure lurked in her bones. She needed to get out and explore! Nothing more fun then that.
She giggled as she wagged her bobbed tail jumping on bugs as she went. Her sapphire gem shinning lovely in the sun. The only one out of her siblings that had it, along with the golden band around her head and front paws. She always wondered what they were for, but her parents told her not to take them off.
"Wee!" she said as she jumped into a pile of leaves. They where so much fun to jump on. Every time one moved, she'd try to pounce on it, and then more would move. She was in a continuous pouncing loop now. Though, that didn't bug her at all. She was having more fun then anyone could possibly thing. She laughed and giggled as she went rolling and jumping and spinning in the leaves. She hadn't noticed there was another kit close by to where she was.

Loud, crunchy, and annoying sounds of leaves being crushed brought Haseo's attention away from the images of his father, they spiraled away until finally he lost the exact picture. A kit about his age danced playfully in the brown leaves, her pelt was gray with more darker gray flecks. At least in his eyes. Scrapping the rock with a large amount of disgust did he stand up and put his whole breath into one noise: A growl.
"That noise is seemingly annoying, y'know!" Haseo said angerily, his haunches rose slightly as if he was preparing to jump on her. Though he didn't and calmed down now, Haseo's white eyes stared at her with a more grumpy expression. This... Ulaya was not someone he had dared to meet right now, in his foul mood.
Scuffing his paws Haseo kept his eyes on her, a menacing glare sprouting from them.

Charu heard something, but couldn't quite make out what it was. Mostly from all the noise of the leaves she had been jumping, twirling, and such on it. She stopped to look about to see if someone had said her name. But instead of finding a sibling or even a parent, she found another kit that she'd never seen before. A huge smile emerged on her face.
This was a male, she knew because she had two brothers. His eyes were strange, or should she say the lack of them was strange. Pure white empty eyes were staring at her. Most would find it scary, yet she didn't notice too much. He seemed to be upset, or perhaps even angry. She hurried out of the bunch of leaves, having some of them still stuck to her as she was now out of them. She wanted to introduce herself properly. "Hi!" She said happily as she smiled at him with a huge grin. She walked towards him a bit, but kept some distance as her mother had showed her. "I'm Charu!" She said with a very cheerful voice. Her bobbed tail flicked back and forth excitingly, curiously peering at the other. She looked at him more, he was red with purple on him.

Haseo grumbled, now look what he had done? Yell, shout, growl, and yet this is what he had done. Bring a happy young female running over to him, ready to play, run, and enjoy herself. The small ulaya padded away, trying his best to ignore her happy attitude. Though questions did swarm him into angrily turning around, Haseo's glaws gripped the ground in frustration at his own thoughts. Oh lord, how was he going to avoid this?
Stopping and resting himself on some of the leaves, they crackled under him. Haseo felt like wise uncomfortable, but ignored it as hard as he can. Looking back at the dappled female with his white eyes Haseo grumbled again, his question slipping, "How are you so happy?" There, done, she would tell him, he might growl, become fascinated, then start chatting with the happy female. Then afterwards he could go somewhere and scream his head off until dawn came.

Charu followed him. He wasn't going to just walk away without talking to her. It'd be mean! She continued to smile and started talking again. "It's really nice meeting someone other then my family" She wagged her tail fastly. "How can't anyone be happy?" She said smiling at him. "It's easy! You've just got to look at all the beauty in the world!" she said with a wide grin.

Haseo's nerves snapped, she looked at things with an expression of beauty, yet all he looked at with an expression of anger and hatred. "Beauty?" Haseo replied, grimacing over the fact he was being grumpy, "Have you seen the cold, angry emotions that fill this planet?" Realizing he had not properly introduced himself, Haseo growled at her and looked Charu in the eye, leveling himself up carefully and speaking, "Haseo..."

She nodded. "I know there's tons of bad in the world, but there's more beauty then there is bad." She said ignoring how he was getting angry at her. It wasn't like he meant to be mean to her. She figured it had to do with something that had happened to him. Some experience that turned his thoughts to horrible ones. Nothing that couldn't be forgiven.
"Nice to meet you, Haseo." She said realizing, just now that he didn't say his name. Well, at least she knew what to call him. She gave him another smile. A smile could always brighten someone's day, even if they didn't show it. Or that's what her mother told her. She bobbed her tail again back and forth. "I'm sure one day, you'll see what I see. Even in those eyes that show nothing at all." She said looking at his empty eyes. Or they seemed empty.

"Hmph." Haseo fidgetted with the leaves under. His attention was set purely on thosel eaves, ignoring the female above them. Her words where more of an insult, yet Haseo didn't bother to yell or growl at her now. It was if she had an answer for everything he shouted about, being happy, how he was, and maybe how his eyes were the dull, white color.
Placing one delicate claw through the leave Haseo's attention turned back to Charu, who, was looking directly into his eyes curiosly. Or she was just looking at them from her small statement. "Maybe you are right, yet, these eyes show me somethings other Ulaya don't see. I see the dull, gray sides of this earth. Those colors are as misrable as the Montana country side that people told stories of how dull it was over there." Haseo replied, adjusting himself and looking into her own joyful eyes. He was most interested now about the earth, how peaceful it could be. And the darkness to it.

"Even the shades of the world can't be dull and ugly." She said with putting a paw up, and a toe out. "It's just how one looks at it." She nodded and smiled. "You only see things in shades, right?" she asked him. Her father told her about that once. About some Ulaya's couldn't see color.
"I think that's really neat. You have your own unique-ness that makes it able for you to see in a different way." She said nodding. She could never pretend to know what it was like to have seen no color before. Though, she wanted to be able to see though his eyes, it would be very interesting. Seeing how the world look without color. No judging of things, except on how they acted rather the color they were.
It seemed almost like a great way to live. Or at least, she thought.

Her different expressions of his dull world put Haseo in another position. Playing with the leaves again he stayed quiet this time, thinking of what to say to her. Did she wish to see through his own eyes? Could it be possible? Haseo, on the other hand wished it could. He would see through her special eyes then his white ones.
"Unique huh?" He relied softly, his attitude lowering dramatically low, "Maybe my father was unique and all my siblings gained some of what he has." Haseo finished, nudging a leaf as it flew into the air, blowing away into the sky. Haseo looked up at the sky, it's gray color dimmed at him, even the sun in which was gray. They needed to do something fun, at least from getting away from this long conversation.
"Wanna play a game?" he offered.

She tilted her head as he seemed to tell her a bit about his family. Did he not know his father? She didn't ask, it seemed as if it was a very touchy subject. She bobbed her tail up and down as she watched him play with a leaf wondering what he was thinking. She hoped she didn't say anything that would upset him.
Then he surprised her with asking to play with him. She smiled and nodded. "What game?" She asked. She wasn't very use to many games then the ones she made up. And with those, they were only for her, since no one else really played with her. She watched as another leaf fell from the tree above them. It moved so gracefully towards the ground as if it knew it was going to land safely. As soon, as it almost hit the ground, a small gust of wind blew it a bit father away causing it to tumble on the ground before it actually came to a stop.

"Maybe tag?" he asked curiously, watching as her own mind seemed to wander gracefully. Haseo cotemplated of the game, he hadn't really played it, just watched as his siblings chased after eachother while one screamed 'tag!' so, afterward Haseo thought that it was called that. Another breath passed through his bones, sending chills down his spine. Winter was coming and that would probably mean blizzards. Haseo groaned to himself, those gusts of snow would prevent him from playing with Charu for awhile.

Didn't they need more ulaya's for that game? She didn't ask, but smiled. "Sure! It sounds fun!" She hadn't played it herself, but she knew how it worked from her parents telling them. None of her siblings wanted to play it. They were all different. She only had connections with her brother anyhow. He was mean to her, but she'd never see it that way. "Who'll be "it"" she asked him with a curious look upon her face. Her tail flicking back and forth fastly as to say she was happy to play a game with him.

Who was 'faster'? Haseo hadn't ever known how fast he was. Charu, he didn't know how fast she could run. Usually the slowest was it so they would be having the hardest time. Sometimes the fastest was picked, which resulted in sometimes whines of complain.
Haseo murmured something. A slow decision like picking who would be it. "I'll be it." he replied, drawing away to keep distants from her before he would give chase. "Are you... Ready?" Haseo asked quietly, a whisper he drew back. The red kit haunched down, a hunting crouch he had seen another ulaya do.
