Here is the current list of subforums. I want to a major overhawl and make changes to them. Quote: * Nintendo Wii * Sony Playstation 3 * Microsoft Xbox 360 * Handhelds * PC Gaming * Games/Consoles Q&A and Guides * Crew Hangout * Sheik026's "Fake Video Game News" * HistoryWak's Word Games * Videogame Reviews * Technology Subforum (Discuss iPods, HD, etc...) * Descending's VG Theories and Predictions * Trash Can [Spam/Lame/Unwanted threads] * General Chat/Anything Non-Gaming Related/Non-Sticky related * GAMEINFORMER Discussion Here's some changes I have in mind: * * Anime/Manga * Console Wars (Previous Generations) * Music * Movies * Handhelds * PC Gaming * Sheik026's "Fake Video Game News" * HistoryWak's Word Games * Technology Subforum (Discuss iPods, HD, etc...) * Viking Media * GAMEINFORMER Discussion * Crew Hangout * General Chat/Anything Non-Gaming Related/Non-Sticky related * Trash Can [Spam/Lame/Unwanted threads] I'm at a loss on some of the things to change. I don't know whether we should get rid of Word Games, GI Discussion, or fake news. I know Viking Media is going to cover many topic so that could lead us to have to change them. I feel it would be best to eliminate the Wii, 360, and PS3 subforums as we discuss all of those in the main forum anyway so those subforums aren't really needed. Discuss your ideas on reorganizing/changing the subforums. Feel free to copy and paste the subforum list quoted above to state your change/organization ideas.

Personally, I believe the consoles sub-forums should stay, considering that is the crux (and the name) of this guild. Also, in looking at the names, I must ask what critical significance that the "Game Informer" sub-forum has?

What of the Reviews subforum, I know that there are a few reviews in there that were not written by a VM editor, so should we leave that be?
I was thinking of moving some of the reviews of more current games into the VM subforum though.

Part-Time Viking What of the Reviews subforum, I know that there are a few reviews in there that were not written by a VM editor, so should we leave that be? I was thinking of moving some of the reviews of more current games into the VM subforum though. That's what I was saying. A couple of the subforum topics are covered by Viking Media. We just need ideas on what to fill the void with. @Ace: I'm lost with subforum ideas. We can have a Youtube subforum maybe. What do you think of maybe making Wii, 360, and PS3 stickies and get rid of those subforums or not make the stickies and let the discussions take place on the main page or in Viking Media. I think having a subforum for each of those it kind of pointless with most of that discussion taking place in the main forum and Viking Media.

I do not want you guys to take this as an offense in any way, but what relevancy does anime/manga have for a gaming guild? there are anime/manga guilds all over this website. save that for those guilds, and keep this for gaming. although I do really like the movie discussion idea.....

We need more members.
The Guild of Gaming and Beyond(Ima Part of that too, unless you wanna know, but nothing but a lowly member, I really don't post that much) has tons of s**t not related to gaming, hell they have there own running marketplace.

Cause we don't advertise as much as we need too?

Well, Wak. As the owner of both a thriving Pokemon guild and a dead warehouse for pics, I can give you an idea of what it takes to bring in active members.

now, can everyone please just stop trying to change the subject? our real problem is flaming. I won't name specific names, but the terms "idiot", "noob", and "arrogant fanboy" are thrown around WAY too much. haven't you ever noticed that people look at the forums before they join a guild? and when I saw all of the flaming that was going on in this guild's topics before I joined, I knew I was going to regret joining. and I am starting to regret joining. here's a lesson for the future: when someone doesn't agree with you in a debate, you DO NOT respond by saying "you arrogant little fanboy noob" just because they don't like the same games that you do.

Fact of the matter is, some people do act like idiots here, part of the reason we created this guild is so that people could come in and have a nice little discussion about what console/game/company they like best, or ask questions on ANYTHING about the consoles.
If you think this is bad (which it isn't, and don't try to put this on us, you do it too), I don't know HOW the hell you survive on the VGD, or any gaming forum for that matter.
