i dont know about you guys but in a few weeks my school year will start and i cant wait for the new choir year. this will be my junior year. so that means two more years of high school.
are you guys ready for this up coming year, and what year will this be for you.

I'm more than ready to get back into choir. The directors at my college said that there weren't enough spots open to let me in (translation: you're not good enough), so I had to wait a year. gonk
This'll be my sophomore year, and, after high school, my first in a choir. Well... a choir that knows what they're doing, anyway. Tried a church choir. Ended up sitting next to a tone-deaf woman.

Well, I leave on Monday for college and start classes on the 23rd. I don't know when choir rehearsals will begin, I know that most people will be trying out during Orientation next week, but I tried out during Open House last spring, so I'm glad I have that out of the way. I'm definitly ready to get back into choir, but everything else... eh... hey, I'm moving across the freaking country, can you blame me for being a little bit anxious?

FallenCreature317 i was ready to go back into a choir a day after i got out of school lol im phsyced abbout this years choir if we even have one lol yeah its all bs that people dont have the heart to go into the arts. they would rather sit back and want everything to come to them. if they were to get rid of our arts i would raise hell with alot of other people because that is the only thing that keeps me sane and in a good mood. it is my escape from reality.

I'm in my cities choir and this is my eighth year. I love it, I can't stand it when people tell me I'm weird for staying in that long. You see mine is a youth choir, And I started in it when I was 7. have the best friends in the world there, and hope to make it to 13 years, am I weird? If I am, I can't help it, just like you said, it's an escape from reality, somewhere you can be yourself and no one cares.
And about most people not wanting to go into the arts, I think it's because they can't stand the work, or the dedication competitive choirs need.

And about most people not wanting to go into the arts, I think it's because they can't stand the work, or the dedication competitive choirs need. i dont think its weird that you do that. i say if you are comfortable with doing what you do jus go for it and have fun. these people need to get their heads out of their butts and do something insted of sitting around getting high and stuff. if oyu get high shame on you but you can still do something creative, like joining band choir or some art group. people now adays jus want everything to be easy and have everything come to them.

i'm very wxcited with what i'll be doing this yr! i'm a senior this yr and i get to do somethings(like have a cool song to sing at grad,etc.)! i'm also gonna miss it but after that i'll get to sing the fun stuff(the challenging music)

i start school again this friday. im not really ready for chorus this year. my voice isnt ready. just got over being sick so its out of shape. luckily my teacher has us do really good warm ups, and i have voice class this year. ^.^

Choir pretty much rocks my face off. 3nodding
We started choir on the 18th of August. So I''ve been in choir for a few weeks.
I tried out for banner singers (we sing the national anthem at home basketball games) and I was one of the only THREE freshman that got on! heart heart I don''t think I''ll get into Diva''s, though. But I want the pretty red folder!
And Eleanor Rigby is in my head... (All the lonely people, where do they all come from? All the lonely people, where do they all belong?)
