___Hazina moved quietly, observing little footprints in the ever-moving dirt. She touched the sandy dust gently and slowly lowered her face to the ground, inspecting the marks incredulously. She prepared her nostrils, perhaps the waft of an old urine trail of whatever this was would accost her senses. She upturned her nose and sniffed, forgetting about the dust and essentially ending up snorting dirt like cheap cocaine. Hazina balked, choking, wheezing and tears streaming from her eyes as she had a sneezing fit. She coughed, and wiped the wet from her eyes and the brown from her nose. The Masai girl had forgotten what point there had been to do that, and began to sulk. Those tracks did seem familiar though ...
___As she mulled, she trailed her fingers in the dirt, drawing poor and large imitations of the footprints. Suddenly it hit her, it was that odd monkey, whatever it was. Lemur? No, she knew the name but she couldn't find it in her vocabulary. One of those fancy pets the Indian menageries would hold. Very valuable ... and if she couldn't sell it, she could always roast it. She smacked her lips and imagined the tender meat, how long had it been since she'd had a real meal? Hazina began to follow the trail, hoping to catch up quickly.

Ankita had let Sarava out for the day. She had been feeling particularly exhausted as of late, and mild headaches to boot. She was curled up in her trailer, wrapped up in her sheets and fast asleep.
Sarava, on the other hand, was far from such lazying activity. She was venturing out, taking the world by the horns and getting into any crack she could fit her chubby body into (She'd made it a ritual to sneak herself into Ankita's goody crate since she hardly had the energy lately to tell her otherwise). She had grown fond of a particular spot near by under a bush. She crawled underneath, butt sticking out and tail waving, as she watched all the passers enjoying the never ending holiday.

___Hazina continued on, noting that the tracks were now more defined. Crouching, she began to slowly crawl, stalking her prey. She had taken off her shoes and tied them to her back, and her toes gripped the earth with animal determination. Hairs began to pepper the trail, and in sleek anticipation she grinned and quieted her breathing. Finally, a tail greeted her vision, almost wagging in a teasing way. If she were a cat she might've been tempted to bat at it with a paw. Carefully she waited, and then quickly she plunged her hand into the bush, grasping her prize amid angry squeals!
___She grinned and chuckled, holding it upside-down at the base of its tail. Reaching over with her metal arm she grasped it gently at the neck and cradled its torso in her large hand. Its large eyes were furious, and the long spidery fingers reached for her with murderous intent. "Ahhh ... Aye Aye." She concluded, before sniffing it. Would it even be worth eating? It began to fidget and wisely, she turned her hand so its privates were facing away from her. Even if she didn't intend to eat it, if it soiled on her she would out of spite.

What the -
Sarava panicked at the grasp. Once the frantic ambush was over and she was able to eye her attacker, her large beady eyes squinted with disgust. She was particularly not fond of her weapon being moved out of her control - which left only one alternative.
Without hesitation, her mouth opened wide, clamping down on her attacker's arm. She writhed and wiggled her way to release, hitting the grown with a loud thud. If only I could land on my bloody feet for a change. She scampered to her feet, quickly. Her back legs moving out of complete sync with her front legs, causing her to rocket forward beyond her control for a short moment. It took a few feet but she finally caught up with herself, quickly making her way to the trailer. In complete panic, she forgot about the latch Ankita had placed for her to make her way in and out of the trailer. And instead, stood scraping at the door in complete panic.
This is NOT the time for a nap, woman!

___In her surprise at the sudden movement, Hazina dropped the little vermin and cursed while doing so. How could the damn thing startle her like that? It was those big creepy eyes ... Demon eyes. She was going to pop those out like cherries. The idea of comically squeezing it till its eyes ballooned made her laugh, dazing off as she became preoccupied with her corny humour. Suddenly she remembered her meal, and began chasing it with earnest.
___The damn thing was fast, but Hazina could be faster. Forgetting she was still barefoot she stretched out her gangly brown limbs and began to sprint. Rounding a corner she skidded, having no traction, and nearly falling she scrambled with her arms to become upright again. There it was! Scratching on a door, as if anything could save it now. She began to laugh openly, revenge would be sweet! Preparing herself for a lunge she leapt, and scooped it up. She slammed into the door, but her quarry was squeezed tightly in her arms. Holding it up with triumph she scoffed at any to thwart her victory.

Ankita had made an attempt to disregard the scratching, the the slamming was enough to cause her to fly off her bed, tangled in her sheets. Her hair was more disheveled than ever, and her sheets restricted any possible constructive movement. She flailed around like a fish out of water until finally she freed herself, grasping around her and feeling her environment until she reached the door. In fury, she swung it open.
"WHAT is going on out here?!" Ankita's voice was cracked and lower than normal.
Sarava whimpered and pined for her familiar. Please help me.

___Pleased with her catch, Hazina didn't even notice the footsteps as she laid in her awkward position on the steps of the trailer. By the time she had, it was too late. With a loud slam her head met wood and she tumbled off. The pain was excruciating, and she thought she felt her eyes star and pop in her brain. Her body automatically tensing, the aye aye was probably suffering a huge amount of pressure from the pain-enhanced squeezing. For a split second Hazina wondered if she tasted blood, before losing consciousness.
___Her head on the ground, torso twisted, and legs still caught up on the sides of the steps with feet in front of the forced door, she was undoubtedly knocked out. Her body relaxed, and her grip on the prize was loosened. When she regained stability she would once again experience the return of her foe, dirt, as her face was halfway shoved into the ground. Her mouth was open with a tongue turning it a dark brown from saliva, and a muddy red from blood. The birds twittering around her head shook theirs and flew off. There was no hope for this clumsy fool!

She was like a black rocket, propelling herself through the air and landing herself on Ankita's bust. She clung onto the fabric of her shirt for dear life.
"Sarava!" Ankita stumbled backwards, trying to figure out what was going on. She heard a loud thud which was initially presumed to be Sarava, however, the weight on her front seemed far more accurate for the creature. She pulled at her companion, but Sarava grabbed even tighter, scrambling for her shoulders and latched onto the back of her shirt where not even Ankita could reacher her. "What! What's going on! Sarava! Get off of me!"
Ankita gave up on chasing after the critter on her own body and decided to find out what actually[/i made the thud. She slowly climbed down her stair case, grasping onto the railing.
Screw this, I'm out of here. Sarava quickly turned back, sliding across the floor instantly on impact, and gliding her way to the space underneath Ankita's bed.
Ankita fleshed out the area around her, slowly getting to her knees and feeling around for whatever made the loud sound. Her fingers felt around until she felt a soft mound. She patted around and made a second discovery of the same consistency. It took a brief moment before she realized what it was.
"Oh! My god! I. I am so sorry! So so sorry!" Frantically, she covered her face in embarrassment.

___Hazina groaned, the pain in her neck arousing her consciousness. Suddenly she felt something on one of her small breasts, and furrowed her eyebrows. On one hand in her groggy state she was tempted to lie and enjoy, but then the shriek shook her out of that thought. She pulled her tongue in her mouth and winced at the dirty copper taste. Pulling her flesh arm up she licked up and down it, trying to wipe the unpleasant smearing from her palate. Looking up at her molester, she saw a dark silhouette against the sun. Whomever this person was, they had a huge head. She squinted, and then realized that was simply hair, and that their head was much smaller. Shifting, she rolled over and pushed off the ground to stand.
___The girl brushed herself off, dust creating small poufy clouds off her body. She craned her neck, the beast must've scampered inside the trailer. Sighing, she assumed the worst. Motioning at the door she placed her right arm akimbo, "Aye Aye, tvadIya?" she said using the Sanskrit word for "Yours?".

Ankita cocked her head. This was by far the first person she'd met in a while that very well knew that Sarava was in fact not some strange mutant monkey-squirrel crossbreed.
"Uh, yes, she's mine." She sat herself down, legs crossed with her ears facing the direction of the voice. "How.. did you know what she was?"

___Hazina tilted her head curiously, the girl wasn't facing her. It was known that some higher classes refused to have their eyes meet anything worse less than themselves, was this the case? She walked closer and hovered slightly, wondering if it was making the noble uncomfortable. There was no reaction though, was this different? The Masai backed off and moved around to look her in the face. She opened her mouth but then closed it, not feeling like pushing into unwelcome territory on the odd behaviour.
___"Aye Aye are from Africa." She paused, feeling her brain expand slightly with a leftover pang. Shaking her head she finished her thought in Sanskrit, "They are popular in India as pets."

"Ah. fricka?" Ankita sat herself down, legs crossed and face of complete shock. She'd never heard of this place called "Africa" and the idea that there were places that actually held these furry little creatures outside of her own home surprised her.
"My Aye-Aye's not from... Ah.. fricka?" The word sounded so strange to her ears.

___The red-haired girl was amused, for once she wasn't being the one stumped over words. This strange woman knew one of her tongues as well, which pleased her. If she hadn't inquired upon the existence of Africa, Hazina might have thought that she was from India. Even the sorely uneducated knew about it, being so close by. She tapped her chin with her finger and mused quietly. What an odd person, Hazina concluded. Odd, and interesting if she owned an Aye Aye.
___"Where I come from, they are." Hazina relaxed, slipping into a language that would give her comfort from struggling English. This woman's face was shocked, but, not at her. In Hazina's direction but not directly at her. What was going on? ___"I am Hazina." She stood briefly, placing her hands upon her thighs and bowing shortly. Sitting, she motioned to the girl. "Your name?"

This girl was definitely a foreigner. Speaking in strange tongues and speaking of strange places.
"I'm Ankita. And my little friend is Sarava." She said smiling softly. "But, I have a feeling from all my yelling you already figured that out." A quiet laughter slipped from her lips.
Sarava, on the other hand, was hardly in such an amused mood. She couldn't understand what could possibly be keeping her familiar so long. Unless, Ankita had finally gotten in touch with her aggressive side, and was now giving the predator her rightful punishment. Yes. Sarava sat pleased under the bed, with violent thoughts floating through her head.

___Hazina nodded and leaned back, her metal arm clanking as she put pressure on it. Sounded like it needed oil or something to be tightened. It was such a hassle, and considering not many people including herself had even heard of mechanics, it was a lot of maintenance. Fidgeting, she pulled on a curly hair from her head. Her afro-puff was nowhere near as impressive as Ankita's full-grown afro. Hazina felt even a little intimidated in its size and painstakingly tended halo.
___"Have you been here long?" She inquired, before adding as an afterthought, "Where did you come from?"
