Just curious!

Weirded out? Not really. It makes sense in the context of their vampire hunter item; the pentagram here isn't designed in a Neopagan context, but in a pop-culture occult context. I'd be happier if it were an upright one... heh.

I will also point out that in some Traditions the inverted pentagram is used to represent someone who has recevied their Second Degree initiation. So not all Wiccan view the upside down version as anything unwanted.

The upside down pentagram also represents someone who values the material more then the spiritual. Where the 5 points of the star point, it puts the spirit on bottom and the elements Earth and Fire on top, indicating passion and wealth.

but as a pop reference it's pretty good mrgreen

Isn't the upside pentagram the symbol of Satanism? That's kinda what I thought when I first saw that item.

Same here. I feel a little ashamed, but I probably never would have made that connection. Needless to say, this is what life is all about: learning and growing.
