 Chaser hurried around, keeping a close eye on the foal that had emerged from the basket. Chaser decided that she was going to name her Tolavan, since it she had a certain ring to it. Tolavan looked into the river water, chaser hurried over and glanced over her and smiled. As she glanced away she bit her lip, oh she hadn't seen Urza in a while, how was he going to react to the little foal? She shook her head, he'd probably be happy that she was here! The tan-brown mare flipped her mane, flicking her ear keeping her flowers in place. Her eyes looked back to the foal, "Tolavan please be careful." Chaser didn't know what to tell the foal, she didn't know if she would want her to call her mother, or call her Chaser. She shrugged, the foal knew her and Urza weren't her real parents, but she could call them that if it made her feel better she supposed! Tolavan gazed into the water, watching a fish swim by as she hopped then looked as Chaser spoke her name. Her brown mane fell over her dark, almost black, eyes as she nodded, "Ok Momma." She wondered when her "father" was going to get here, she'd never met him before, but her "mom" spoke very highly of him. She smiled slightly as she winked at herself, gave a small giggle, and then put her foot in the water. She felt Chaser's eyes on her, so she took her foot out and looked at her. "Mommy whens daddy goona get here?" Her mother didn't respond as she looked around, Tolavan soon joined in, she didn't know what she was looking for, but she knew it was a horse with patches and whiskers!

(( You mean Chaser spoke her name, not Urza. XD ))
It'd only been a day or two since he went out for a bit leaving Chaser with the basket. He felt that it'd be better for Chaser to have time alone with their basket. Sounded funny him thinking about them having a basket. Though, it wasn't really theirs, but it felt just as good. He couldn't stop smiling as he was now making his way back through the woods.
He wasn't going to expect that the basket he left with Chaser was actually know opened and the foal was wondering around. He'd been excited to see what merged from the basket that they had found. He flicked his braided tail happily.

Chaser paced back and forth as she heard bead clank together. Her ears perked forwards as she turned around, walking through the woods came Urza. She gave a bright smile as she poked Tolavan and whispered, "Theres your daddy!" She giggled some as she nickered to him playfully and gave a beaming smile. She couldn't wait to see his reaction to Tolavan, they had just found her what, 2 days ago and she had already hatched! Chaser flicked her tail, walking with Tolavan towards the cat-like stallion. Tolavan rubbed against her leg as she looked at her, "No need to be afraid dear, he dosent bite!" She smiled as her crystal blue eyes met Urza's. She nuzzled him and said jokingly, "Surpise!"
Tolavan looked up to Urza, wide-eyed and all. There was a smile on her face as she looked at his whiskers, and his patches, "Daddy!" She poked him to make sure she wasn't just dreaming, she could have been dreaming, it does happen. She looked at Chaser, then Urza, then back to Chaser. Her smile got a bit bigger, "My names Tolavan!" She smiled as she walked around her parent's taking in there features, and the way they acted around one and other. Her brown mane fell over her eye again, she blew it out of her face quickly.

He blinked as he looked from Chaser to the little foal. Was that the foal? Well of course it was how stupid could he be. It was a filly. Not what he expected, but now he had to be a protective father when she was older. He grinned as he looked back at Chaser and the the filly again. "What? I mean. Wow!"
She had even named the filly already, which was a nice name. "Tolavan, aye? "He asked as he moved his head lower to get a better look at her and to smell her. In deed it was the same smell as the basket. "Welcome to the world!" He said happily. This was a very strange surprised. He couldn't help but to be happy. He looked back up to Chaser. "She's beautiful."

Chaser smiled at Urza's reaction, he sounded very happy that she came into the world. She giggled, "You should have been there when she hatched. Dead middle of the night I got poked in the forehead by a little filly saying, "Are you my momma? Where am I? What's my name?" Truely I would have waited, but seeing the situation, I thought it was necassery!" She smiled as she watched Tolavan, her big eyes still on her father. She giggled as she flicked her tail, and stood next to Urza, looking down to her daughter, she couldn't help but beam! She looked at him and nodded, "She's very pretty, and she's very sweet." She giggled some as she flicked her ear, moving her flower a tiny bit, "She couldn't wait to meet you. All day she's been asking where her daddy is." She looked over to Urza, and gave a wide smile, this was exciting wasn't it!
Tolavan smiled as her father sniffed her and she nodded, "Yup it's Tolavan! And you spell it T-O-L-A-V-A-N! Mommy taught me how to spell it!" She walked over to her father and looked at his whiskers, and smile birghtly, "Daddy has whiskers!" Her eyes looked over as she saw a butterfly, her smile widened as she turned around to follow it around. Her mother's voice behind her saying, 'Be Careful!' as she jumped to touch it. Missing it by a landslide she stumbled, then fell into a bunch of flowers. She started to laugh as she stood up and shook off a bit, looking to her mother who smiled at her, then winked playfully.

He couldn't help but let out a small laugh as Chaser told him how it went. He was sure he'd see other baskets hatch, even if they were grandchildren. He flicked his tail, thinking about how far ahead he was already thinking. Then, thinking how he hoped that time wouldn't come for a while. He looked back down the the little filly. A new adventure was truly about to begin. This was were things were to get interesting.
"Wow! That's great." he said to Tolavan. He didn't know how fast of a learner she was, but seeing how she could already spell her name in just two days was good. He beamed down at her. She was going to be a smart mare. "Yes, I do." He watched her chase a butterfly. "Oh, she won't hurt herself, let her have little fun." He chuckled as he walked towards her as she fell. He stopped as soon as she started laughing.

Chaser smiled at him, she only whished he was here to see her come out. Chaser was a bit upset with herself, not seeing her 'first' basket hatch. She flicked her ears as she watched Tolavan with a sharp eye, she didnt want her hurting herself so soon! She smiled as she looked to Tolavan as she spelt out her name for her father. She smiled, "She practiced the whole day learning how to spell it." She giggled as she looked around them, they were just out in the open, not usually where Chaser lurked, but she smiled, they were a tiny little family. Holding her look on Tolavan she smiled as Urza was being a good father and going towards her.
Tolavan watched as her father walked closer to her and she ruffled her mane, looking up at her father and smiling wide. She got up and walked around her father, smiling bright, "Daddy! I like your whiskers! i want whiskers too!" She giggled as the black feather around her hoof brushed against the ground. She nuzzled her fathers leg as she walked towards her mother and smiled, "Mommy, can I go play near the river?" She looked up wide-eyed as her mother nodded slightly, and she darted off towards the river.

Urza had no clue what to really do. It wasn't like he really paid attention to other families. He was excited and scared at the same time. What if he messed up? He kept his worry from his face. Thinking everything would be all right. It would be. He smiled at Chaser as he caught her looking at him.
He quickly turned his attention to his new daughter. No one could tell him other wise. "When your older, you'll get them." He gave her a wink. Of course, she wouldn't, but it'd keep her happy for now. He flicked his tail as he watched her bounce around him. She had so much energy. Where did it come from!.
He raised an eye brow not really liking the idea of her playing next to the river. "I think we'll have to wait for that until your a bit older. "he said with a smirk. "Until then, we should go exploring in the meadows!" he said trying to make it sound like it was alot of fun.

Chaser gave a small giggle as he smiled back at her as she held her breath quietly and looked to her daughter. She flipped her mane as she decided that urza was right, and got Tolavan before she got near the river. She smiled as she leaned down as she then nodded, "You should listen to your father, he's very, very, smart." Chaser shook her mane and looked back to the river, grabbed a quick drink, then turned around and poked her daughter to go to her father. She lazily walked towards the both of them, she laughed as she watched Urza's expression, then she looked to her daughter who was giving a bright smile.
Tolavan looked at her mother and gave a small frown, "But Momma-" She was cut off as her mother said about her father being smart. She agreed with her mother, her daddy was smart! She looked back as she ran towards her father and smiled big. She nodded quickly, "Ok daddy! Lets go! Come OOOON Mommy!" Her mother quickly picked up her pace to catch up with her. She shuffled her feet impaciently as she looked at her father, "LETS GOOO! Come on Daddy! Come on Momma!" She turned lightly and sped of towards the meadows.

Urza laughed. The thought of being smart made him want to laugh. He didn't think he was that smart, but everyone had their own opinions. He nodded at his daughter as she seemed rather happy to go to a close by meadow instead. At least he wouldn't have to worry about her getting hurt in the water. Though, other creatures lurked in the tall grass of the meadows. He tried not to think about it. What was wrong with him, yesterday he'd never have thought about stuff like this. But yesterday he didn't have to look after a little filly.
"This way!" he said trying to keep up with her energy. Which was really hard, he wouldn't have believed they had so much energy until know. He couldn't help but laugh as she started towards the meadow without them. "Slow down now, don't want you to run into something that could hurt you without us there." he said gently as he followed her rather quickly. His braided mane and tail made noise as he walked fastly. The beads seemed to do that alot, but he hardly noticed.
The weather was warm, but not too warm. The changing of the seasons seemed to come fastly. Trees were slowly turning beautiful colors of red, orange, brown and yellow. The grass even started to turn back green as it had rained more. This was one of the few days that it hadn't rained. Which made it even better. He wouldn't have to worry about Tolavan getting sick.

Chaser tried to keep up with her lover and her daughter, moving quickly to keep from tripping over the loose rocks and such that was around them. She flicked her ear to make sure that her flowers stayed in place, she still had her indian pick out the purple flower Urza had givin her as she glanced toward it, it was time for a new one, this one seemed to be dying out. She shook her mane lightly as she quickly stepped around a small rock which she hadn't notived. She watched Tolavan carefully, making sure she wouldn't step on anything and hurt herself. she gave a smile, a couple of days ago she would have been playing tag with some random soquili, now her and Urza were together taking care of a filly, there filly. She smiled as she slowed her pace as her daughter did.
Tolavan followed her father carefully and swiftly, she was a quick foal, and she dodged things quickly. She smiled at her dad as she got infront of him and continued walking, "I wont get hurt daddy! I never get hurt, I'm very careful! I promise!" She flipped her mane as Tolavan looked back to her mother and her father and giggled quietly. Hurring through the grass she stumbled and then quickly regained her step. She looked back to parents she smiled brightly. She looked at a lake as her eyes widened, more water! She jumped lightly as she looked at her mother and then looked away again, her father didn;t want her to go into the water, so she wouldn't go.

Urza had almost forgotten there was a lake around there too. At least it was still, unlike the river that was now behind them. Those moved too fast and made him very uneasy around when having a small one. Or at least this small one. He was sure if he was with another foal, he'd act more like a foal then a parent. It was just how things went. "Oh, almost forgot about that lake." He chuckled as he walked a bit faster towards it.
"Well, this is were you can play in the water." he told her "But don't go so far out." He said. He didn't want to swim out to get her, but if he had to, he would. "Though, it's a bit cold today, so maybe it's not a good idea to get into the water." he paused "maybe on a warmer day." he looked at the clouds above that seemed to have moved in over the morning, though it showed now chance of rain today.

Tolavan gave a frown when her father suggested another day. She looked at him and huffed quietly, "Okay daddy!" She turned around to face her mother and father who were stadning next to eachother. She smiled as she watched her mother smile to her as she looked for a field of flower to maybe run in, and smash a couple on her way. She glanced to her left as she smiled at her dad, "Be right back! I wanna get you gus some flowers!" She sped off towards the flowers without a yes or a no from her parentel units as she doe into the flowers and smiled. She looked at her mother, she'd like pink flowers, and her dad, he could get purple! She hurried quickly.
Chaser giggled some, "She's got more energy then me and you put together!" She smiled as she took two steps closer to her daughter, then stopped not to look to obvious. She looked at her love with his, I have to be fatherly, look, which made her laugh. Chasers throat was becoming dry from all the running so she glanced towards the lake to get a drink. Her crystal blue eyes looked back at her from the lake as she smiled, " I remeber when we were trying to go to the lake, then we found Tolavan, I was so afraid something was going to eat me." She looked at Urza and laughed quietly to herself.

He chuckled watching the little filly bounce around so happy. He still didn't know where all the energy came from. How could they do that? He didn't remember being that hyper when he was a kid. "Yeah.. Well I guess that's part of being a foal?" He said with a chuckle. He still was trying to remember if he ever had that much energy.
"Oh? That wasn't too long ago. Just a few days." He said with a smile and nuzzled her. He'd protect her, even if it killed him. "And you shouldn't worry. I'd protect you." He said just to make sure she knew he would. His attention turned back to Tolavan. He had to make sure she was in his sight or he'd worry.

tolavan gave a quick glance to her chattering parents as she glanced around more to look for purple and pink flowers. She sneezed a bit from all the pollen as she spotted two perfect purple flowers, and one pink one. She hurried along as she plucked the three flowers and quietly and slowly strolled back over to her parents. She watched her mother and father nuzzle eachother, she giggled some, then continued on. She turned to see a butterfly passing her. Tolavan clutched the flowers and stood still, seeing if it would land on any of the flowers. she smiked brightly as it inched towards her.
Chaser smiled at him, 'Yes I know, but I have been reminding myself every day so i dont forget about it" She giggled as she looked back into the water, until he nuzzled her, she nuzzled him back. She listened to his words as she kissed his cheek and looked at him, "I know you would." She too glanced towards Tolavan to make sure she wasn't getting into much trouble. She smiled, "Seems she likes butterfles!"
