What will happen to the show after Aang beats the firelord?
I think there will be more super deformed shorts or they'll start a NEW story about a different avatar! How cool would THAT be? Avatar: The tale of whatevertheycallit

First of all, Squee! the siggy I made is being used!
*is filled with glee*
Second of all....Well, I think I heard somewhere that they'd perhaps move on to new projects, or that they'd make another arc related to Avatar, but about someone else...Of course, I could have this confused with Oban Star Racers...Um...don't take my word on that. I do think they said other projects, though.
And shorts? I have no idea, but I wouldn't mind having a few more, since that's where most of the canon Zutara is!

Also, what seeing the title of this thread made me think of when I saw it, what about life after Avatar? Hard to imagine, I know, but in 15 more episodes...
What will you guys be doing? How will we feed our addictions then?
Me, I'll probably be scraping my brains off of the walls, seeing as how I'm expecting some major plot twisting and such, which will probably make my head explode numerous times...That'll be my aftermath...
Then there's the fanfiction, and the fanart, especially if Zutara is somehow booted by Kataang...Which, I can't see happening, frankly...Even so, if that happens, I'll be on deviantart drowning my sorrows away...
And of course, I'll probably find something new to rave about... Hopefully Savin Yeatman-Eiffel will be at work on stuff... Oh, yeah, I'll have the OSR DVDs too! woot!
Still, I'm really gonna miss the thrill of this show once it's over...Best 'Kids' show, EVAR!

T.T The thought of Avatar ending is incredibly heartbreaking.
But, I'm hoping we get a few more shorts, since they're hilarious and full of cute chibi zutara-ness. And, I think the creators said something about another season of Avatar that focuses on different characters... I'm not sure, though.
But, when the show does end, I'll probably be overwhelmed by the joy of all the awesomeness, and the sadness that the awesomeness is now over. I'll probably write a few fanfics, too.
Then I'll turn to Naruto for comfort, and probably find yet another series to obsess over as well. xD

Its been said that they could make a book four where Aang goes looking for other airbenders. It's not immpossible to think that there aren't. From the description we've gotten from the air bender culture, air benders are raised not by their families but by other airbenders. Is it far-fetched to believe that they were taken from their families so whos to say that because there was no more air nomads that some air benders were not taken and so they were not killed with the others and they're out there in hidding unsure of their power because no one is left to teach them how to use it and they were shut off from everyone

Also, I love the idea of all the airbenders being in hiding, or out in the open and not knowing of their abilities. =D
