The Year is 1194, the Kamakura period. Minamoto Yorimoto is shogun and his government is based in Kamakura. He called his government Bakufu. The Emperor gave him The title Seii Tai-shogun.
Ronin Samurai and Ninja wonder around Japan looking for work. The Shogun has been too busy basking in wealth to do his duties. The peasants and even the occasional wealthy man are asking utilizing the Ronin to their needs.
Are you a Ronin, Working for the highest bidder, or are you a Faithful servant of the fat and lazy shogun? Are you adept in the skills of stealth and ninjitsu or adept in the skills of the sword and honor?

They killed his father in plain view, and ravaged his mother and sisters, then killed them after they were done. He was the lucky one to have escaped. He hid in a bamboo forest and wanted revenge on those bandits that kill his family. Months after he passed out in front of a school for the sword. The master took him in. As the years went by he trained and lived at the school. When he was 19 he left the school to avenge his families death. He now works as a samurai hired pay.
Personality: When Hotaru isn't working his mind is calm, but at the same time is conflicted with visions and nightmares of his families death. But when he works he's a different person his calm nature is replaced with anger, and a thirst for blood.
Apearance: Hotaru stands at 5'7", he wears a blue Hakama and wears armor only covering his bare body. His hair is long and jet black that stops at his shoulder.

After a while he picked it up quite well and decided to become a samuri, his fighting style got him to being one of the shoguns best quickly.
Personality: Nice, loyal and brave, but he is also errogant, and cocky.

Personality: Helpful to a fault he is constantly trying to please those around him. He is brave, and good in a fight, but he dislikes the now lazy shogun he serves.

Other: He carries only a single katana, but he is so skilled with it that he can cut through steel. He uses a fighting style known as Battojutsu.
