Pet Peeves part 1
Aura woke up, early as usual, 5:30 a.m. It was Saturday, a day off for the weekend. She stretched. She went into the showers as Seir guarded the entrance, as usual. ‘That’s what I love most about Saturday.’ She thought to herself. ‘I can take an hour and a half long shower with time to spare before I’m interrupted. She crouched down to all fours, as she became a completed transformation to tiger. Seir trotted in. “Hey Aura, you may want to check your stuff when your done, Sissy is sneaking out of her room to yours. Want me to keep an eye on her?” He asked from the other side of the room. She finished rinsing the shampoo from her fur as she reached for the conditioner. “Yhea sure. She’ll almost certainly try something. Make sure Skell is alert.” She said as she finished lathering her pelt. Seir slipped out the door, leaving Aura to her shower.
Sissy snuck to Aura’s dorm room and stopped. She pulled out a lock pick. ‘So I was right. She is trying to break in. well I guess I just have to scare her away then.’ Seir thought standing behind her. Sissy grumbled as the pick didn’t work very well. ‘An unbent paper clip, good luck getting through her lock. She made sure to put a latch on the door the other day.’ He thought snickering to himself. He snuck right behind her and, using his human impression, let out a blood chilling, ear piercing, and yet muffled shriek next to her. She yelped and spun around as Seir slid under the door. Sissy looked around, whoever screamed was gone now. Cautiously, she resumed her task. Seir hopped up to Skell’s perch on the bookshelf. “Hey Skell, wake up.” Seir said shaking him.” Sissy is trying to get in. An intruder!

‘.......... Intruder!.......’ The one word stirred his sub-conscious. He quickly woke up and heard a noise outside the door. ‘He stood up and rattled his wings together softly. The clattering showing his irritation. Sissy opened the door, and looked in. She crept toward Aelita and saw her toy, Mr. Puck. She plucked the doll out of Aelita’s arms. Skell hesitated. ‘Mr. Puck isn’t mine to guard, but Aelita is nice. Revealing myself could be very bad, Aura had told me that. Then again Sissy was an intruder. But, didn’t Aura say not to attack only for that while at Kadic. No, I’ll wait for morning. I could tell Aelita it was Sissy, she would know what to do.’ He thought as he sat down and saw Sissy about to grab Aura’s tiger plushie, Aurora, but caught a glimpse of Aura’s ‘Chew toy’. A shredded piece of rabbit skin covering a rabbit bone. The skin had tears and rips all over. The bone underneath had been scraped and broken many times. Small traces of both the leftover rabbit blood and her own from those times she was mad and chewed to hard, well, warning enough right?
Sissy crept out of the room as Aura was finishing her shower.
7:30 a.m. Aelita saw looking at her alarm clock. She rolled over and clutched Mr. Puck. Only Mr. Puck wasn’t there to clutch. She bolted awake. Her favorite toy was gone! Aelita looked franticly but Mr. Puck was nowhere to e found. She sat down on her bed and thought to where she had Puck last. Well just before she fell asleep. So he wasn’t in the room when she woke up, someone stole him. Xana? No, why would Xana steal her toy? If it wasn’t Xana who was it? Skell flew over to her and rattled his wings, his head cocked to the side. Aelita looked down at the cute guardian. ‘Hey! Aura said once he didn’t need sleep! Maybe Skell knows where Mr. Puck is!’ Aelita thought excitedly as she turned hopefully to the small skeleton. “Hey Skell, do you know where Mr. Puck is?” She asked hopefully. Skell nodded and trotted out the door, Aelita following behind.
The two made their way to Sissy’s room and Skell pawed the door. ‘Sissy, that figures.’ Aelita opened it and Skell trotted in. Aelita looked around carefully, but Mr. Puck was no longer in the room. In Lyoko a tower activated in the mountain region.
Aelita walked sadly to the cafeteria. She sat down next to Jeremy.
“Good morning Aelita. Hey, what’s wrong?” He asked noticing her gloomy attitude. She looked over as Aura took her seat with her tray. Hunting had been bad that morning. Aelita sighed. “Mr. Puck is gone. I woke up and he wasn’t there. Skell led me to sissy’s room, but I didn’t find him.” Aelita said as she nibbled a piece of toast.
“Don’t worry Aelita, Sissy can’t have to many places se could have put him. That would take to much brain power for her.” Odd sad reassuringly. Aelita gave a small smile.
“Also, I could assign Skell o find it. He can get it back to. We just need to have Sissy show it where he sees it and He’ll make sure to nab it.” Aura said as she finished her water. She grinned and got up. She stood in the woods a little and summoned Skell. He flew to her and nuzzled her. She petted him.
“Hey Skell, Do you think you could find and retrieve Mr. Puck for Aelita?” he asked as she set him on the ground. Skell nodded bouncing enthusiastically. “Great. I’m so glad. Aelita misses that toy a lot. Sissy will probably use it to blackmail us. I’ll try to get her to show it then, so follow me around till you get the toy, Okay?” She said as she stroked his muzzle. Skell rattled his tail and antenna with joy. ‘Oh boy! A tracking assignment! I love those!’ Skell thought as he took to the sky. ‘Aura gave me a hunt! I’m gonna get that toy back for Aelita!’

Sissy sat in her own little hideout smirking. Her hide out was an old building just off school grounds. It was a run down two-story apartment that you could only access through the window. She fingered the stolen toy happily. Aelita would want this back. Ulrich would help his friend. He would go out with her. ‘Finally Ulrich will be mine!’ she thought. Sissy put the doll into her purse. It was time to make demands now.

Ulrich, Aelita, Yumi, Odd, Jeremy, and Aura were in the gym. Unknown to any one but Aura so was Skell. Skell was perched out of sight in the rafters. ‘I get to give the snob a scare and make both Aelita and Aura happy. I just need to get the toy!’ Skell thought softly rattling his antenna softly in anticipation. The prey had just stepped in!
“Well glad to see you all here! Now here’s something you may find interesting, look what I found! If you want it back then Ulrich will have to- AHHHHHH!” She screamed as Skell dived at her hand. She waved her hand wildly trying to shake the monster off. Skell bit her hand and clawed her wrist. Screaming she shook her hand again just as Skell bit down harder. Her grip loosened and Mr. Puck was sent flying along with Skell. Skell grabbed Mr. Puck in mid air and flew back t the dorm, leaving a crying stuttering shocked sissy behind.
“You know, despite what a nasty snot nosed brat she is, we should probably take her to the infirmary. Skell can bite real hard sometimes and he isn’t exactly a master at watching what he eats. Not to mention he never brushes his teeth.” Aura said as she hauled Sissy to her feet. She and Yumi took the shocked girl to the infirmary.

Xana’s ghost floated out an electrical outlet in Aura’s room. Skell looked up, as he was about to put Mr. Puck back. He clattered his wings as loud as he could but the ghost flew at him. Skell’s eyes grew red as the Eye of Xana glowed in the empty sockets.

Pet peeves 2
Jeremy walked into his room. He looked at his computer screen and saw the activated tower alarm beeping. “Oh no, Just great!” He shouted as he reached for his phone. He heard a static clatter behind him. Static. He knew what that meant by now. Xana was right behind him! He whipped around and saw Skell, Seir, Mr. Puck, Kiwi and a tiger plushie behind him. They were cute. They were cuddly. They wanted to rip his spleen out through his nose. “Nice, stay there, just stay put.” Jeremy said backing away. He felt his back hit the table. ‘Oh no! I’m trapped!’ He thought. Seir stepped forward and gave a static bark. The other Xana-fied mini monsters approached him. Jeremy looked desperately around for a way to escape. The only way out was the window. He was 2 stories up so that wasn’t likely. Then again ... He looked back at the group. ‘No choice.’ He thought as he jumped onto the windowsill. The gang rushed at him snarling. He jumped down and hit the pavement. Hard. The gang of puppets jumped out after him as he ran for the factory, phone already dialing his friends.
Odd reached to his phone. He had just finished lunch, when his phone rang. “Hello? Jeremy? A tower in the mountain region, and a bunch of toys and pets? Yhea I’ll tell the others.” He said as he dialed Yumi’s number.
Seir chased Jeremy. ‘My prey is loosing speed fast. Soon he will collapse. Then Xana will let me KILL him! Yes, he’s almost there. Stumbling. YES! He tripped!’ Seir thought as he dove upon the fallen boy. Jeremy screamed as Seir bit his arm. Skell swooped in and seized his leg. Jeremy but up a good effort to shake them off, but when Kiwi and Aurora pinned his other limbs down he could only scream. Xana-Puck walked up. The elf toy grabbed a large rock and approached Jeremy. Jeremy struggled, but was weakening fast. The toy elf lifted the rock, and smashed Jeremy’s head with it, stunning him into submission. Jeremy whimpered and squeezed his eyes shut as it raised the rock again; this time Xana would aim right. Puck brought the rock down hard and fast to deliver the fatal blow, when a green blur leaped into the toy, knocking it down and releasing its grip on the stone. Card turned to Jeremy, his red eyes narrowed and it jumped at the remaining puppets. Jeremy felt the painful grip on his arms disappear. He tried to get up, but his first smash still was too painful. He could hardly move. Card grabbed him and flapped his small wings hard and fast. They rose into the air, Skell following behind them. Card looked back, noticing Skell’s strange flight pattern. ‘Something is wrong with Skell.’ He thought as he raced over the city.
The others raced to the boiler room and took the tunnel to the sewer. Odd, Ulrich, Yumi, Aura, and Aelita. Aura became a tiger as the others grabbed their skateboards and scooters. One scooter was left. They sped down the tunnel to the factory.
‘Coming up from my 8o’clock! Need to dive and pull right!’ Card thought as he turned to see Skell approaching. He sped down to the right and pulled up. Skell was in front now, unable o attack or defend himself. Card grinned. Jeremy whimpered. ‘Great, just great. I have a headache from Xana’s little attack, got rescued by something that could have come out of Aura sketch book, and now I’m dangling about 2500 feet in the air while something is pulling off crazy air combat tactics. I’m gonna die! I'm gonna die! I’m gonna die...’ Jeremy thought squeezing his eyes shut tighter. He felt himself loose altitude as he kept repeating in his head, ‘I’m gonna die! I’m gonna die!’ Card flew into the factory Seir had told him about. Aura may have been sworn to secrecy, but they forgot about Seir.
Jeremy heard the familiar sound of the elevator closing. And the comforting sound of the entry code being typed in. He dared open his eyes a bit and saw, to his relief, the computer room. He looked up at his rescuer, who now had his hood up and wings in. Jeremy scrambled into his seat as the others arrived.
“Whoa! Jeremy, who’s that?” Ulrich asked noticing the hooded figure. Aura perked her ears in surprise. “Card? What are you doing here?” She asked. Card looked over and responded. “Seir told me about this place. He said you couldn’t because your friends told you not to, but they forgot to tell him that.” Jeremy looked at the others. “He helped me, its okay, get to the scanner room.”
Aura stepped into the scanner. “Scanner Aura, scanner Odd, scanner Aelita. Transfer Aura, transfer Odd, transfer Aelita. Virtualization!”
Aura hovered in mid air as the others landed. “Virtualization! Jeremy said as Ulrich and Yumi landed to. Aura looked around nervously. “Hey Aura, what’s wrong?” Odd asked noticing her uneasy look. Aura glanced at him and the others. She looked at the swirling fog below. “Well, It’s just that... I have a big fear of heights.” She said as she stared at the bottomless landscape below. Yumi raised an eyebrow. “But Aura, You have WINGS! How can you be afraid of heights when you fly?” She asked. Aura gulped. She flapped her wings and gripped her Spork tighter. “Well, I just haven’t had wings very long I guess.” She said as she landed. Yumi sighed as Jeremy’s’ voice came over the speaker. “Okay, the tower is due north. I’m sending you your vehicles.” He said as the vehicles appeared. The four came up. The over-board, the over-wing, the over-bike and a new one. It was ice colored and looked like a snow mobile crossed with a jet ski. It had 2 medium sized stabilizing fins on the side, and an upper and lower pointing fin. Its front was slightly pointed and had two handles. The middle had an indent for the pilot to sit, and below the seat two-foot pedals. Aura ran a paw over it and smiled. “WOW! The only changes I see is a slightly different angle for the fins so it can rest on land. I love it!” She exclaimed sliding on it. She grasped the handles and tilted her feet slightly. The New vehicle inched forward. “I call it, the over-ski! Great isn’t it? I had to delete some old defragmentation files so it could pixilate. Then I needed to descramble the stabilizers so I defragmented the internal matrix and-” Jeremy started when Ulrich interrupted. ‘Hey
Einstein, can it wait till the tower is deactivated?” He asked as they remembered why they were there in the first place. Jeremy looked alarmed. “Yhea, I’ll tell you after. There are three block's and a megatank coming at you.” He said as four dots approached the five triangles. “Al right, time to try this thing out.” Aura said as she rode forward on it. It zoomed over the rock, hovering slightly. Aura leveled her Spork and used it to pole vault over a block. The lower fin scraped the eye of Xana as she flew over it. Causing the monster explode. “SWEET!” Aura said landing and spinning around to see her work. Nothing remained of her opponent. She took off to the mega tank whistling the Cop's theme song, “Bad boys”, and grinned.

Pet peeves part 3
The mega tank swerved and shot at Odd. Odd dodged to the right as Aura hovered over. The mega tank rolled onto its side and fired a wide blast in all directions. Aura flew over it and so did the others. Except Yumi. The blast hit her and she gasped. Her digital form broke up and she was devitalized. Aura leveled her Spork at the eye of Xana. The tank closed and her Spork slid off its side. She hovered next to it waiting for it to open. To the left she heard an explosion. Now it was one block and one mega tank. “Uh oh. Guy’s, William's on his way. Aura thrust her Spork into the mega tanks eye and looked up. “He was the puppet recruit right?” She asked as a block aimed its ice beam at her. It hit her over-ski and flung her off. She opened her wings before she could do a face plant on the hard purple ground. She thrust her Spork under the block, causing it to tip over. She pulled up and circled the area. Ulrich finished off the block with his saber.
“Yhea that’s one description of it.” Jeremy said over the intercom. A black smoke flittered over the ground and sprang up into Xana-William. Xana swung his sword at Odd, who jumped over it. Ulrich rushed at Xana. Aura circled over, waiting for an opportunity. Ulrich and Xana clashed swords, as a tarantula kept Odd and Aelita busy. Xana disarmed Ulrich. Xana raised his sword, and Aura tucked her wings in tight. Xana’s sword sailed at Ulrich, but never hit it’s target. Aura opened her wings just in time to sail up, after diving headfirst into Xana’s side. Xana got up, but Ulrich’s sword was coming at him. He rolled to the side to avoid the low
“Energy field!” Aelita shouted hurling the energy at the tarantula. It hit and the beast exploded. Odd flew over to her as Aura dive-bombed Xana again. Odd fired an arrow at him at the same time. He raised his sword to block Aura’s Spork, but was hit by the arrows. He disappeared in a wisp of black and red smoke. Aelita ran to the tower.
In reality Jeremy was fighting off the gang of puppets. Seir clung to his face, as Skell tried to rip out his thought. Aurora had knocked off his glasses earlier. Now, practically blind, the only thing on his side was the fact that Card and Yumi were with him. Yumi was handling on her own decently with Mr. Puck and Kiwi. Card was fending off Aurora and defending Jeremy as best he could. Unfortunately he couldn’t use his spear without hurting Jeremy. Yumi screeched as Kiwi bit her leg as hard as he could. Under Xana’s control, he bit down almost to the bone. Mr. Puck still had his rock, as he rushed at Yumi. Jeremy was bitten badly and loosing blood to fast. Aurora held card back in the far corner.
Aelita stepped into the tower. The rings lit up, one by one as she stepped on them. She threw back her head.
Jeremy collapsed on the floor panting. ‘Hurry up, please.’ He thought as he heard Skell clattering over to him.
Aelita floated to the top platform and approached the center.
Yumi flung her fist at Mr. Puck as he approached. He jumped out of the way and raised the rock, his button eyes staring at her, Xana’s eye reflecting into her own. His smiling face seeming to mocking her.
The panel appeared. Aelita place her hand on it. AELITA flashed across its screen.
Card dodged again as Aurora swiped again. He slipped on the slick floor and fell down. Aurora rushed at him.
CODE LYOKO flashed on the screen as the screens of binary falling into the bottom of the tower. It glowed back to its inactivated blue color. “Tower deactivated.” She said as she lowered her head. Jeremy panted. He didn’t even have the strength to crawl over to the computer. Seir let go of his leg and looked down at him. “Jeremy? Are you still alive? Come on, say something!” Seir begged him Seir only just met him, but Jeremy was nice, and one of Aura’ friends. Jeremy didn’t open his eyes as he whispered to Seir, “Seir, press F9 return...” He trailed off. Seir scampered over to the controls quickly without question, and pressed the keys. A white bubble came out of the holomap. It covered Jeremy, Card and Yumi. They could feel their wounds heal up. Card and Seir could feel their minds forgetting the past events as the return to the past did its intended job.
Aura looked up. They were all on the way to the gym again. Aura looked up at Skell, circling just in sight of her. She motioned to him and he flew down. She told him of her newly thought change of plans. If it was possible for a skull to grin, Skell did it. He flew into the window of her dorm and dragged Seir to the gym, filling him in on Aura’s new plan. Seir laughed at the brilliance of it.
Sissy looked up as the group entered. “Well glad to see you all here! Now here’s something you may find interesting, look what I found! If you want it back then Ulrich will have to date me for at least two months. And the rest of you need to promise to be nicer to-” She started. “AAAAUUUUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!” Something screamed behind her. Everyone except Aura spun around looking for the voice. Skell clattered his wings, his tail, hi antenna, practically every bone he had to produce an eerie sound. Next to him, Seir Screamed again, louder than the first time. “AUUUGGHHH!!” Aura looked around casually. ‘Wow, there must be a poltergeist in here. A furious one to at that.” She said as she looked everywhere but the ceiling. Seir dumped a bunch of stones on the ground from the roof. Scattering them and screeching as if in extreme pain. It was enough. Sissy screamed and ran out of the gym as fast as she could, dropping the doll on the ground. As soon as she was out of earshot Aura laughed as loud as she could. Seir joined in, riding to the floor with Skell.
“Aura, did you set that whole thing up?” Odd asked her. Aura looked over grinning. “Of course, who else has access to a bone gargoyle and a ferret that can scream like a human?” Odd laughed loudly, picking up the doll. He tossed it to Aelita who caught it, now laughing with her other friends.
