Leon walks over to his everyday place. His house for the year..."I cant wait untill The Years over! I get to go back to my Lake house!" Leon pulled out the Long Golden Olden times key to his dorm and unlocked it. "Same room different year...." He said as he walked over to his bed and then looked over towards his dresser.
"Hmm..." Leon Opened the Curtains and noticed the trees outside his window were willows. They were dieing...Leon Put his hands out and pointed them towards the trees. "Old Willow." Leon pushed his hands up as if he was telling them to raise up. The trees branches rose high into the air and began to wiggle. "Hey Rorin!" leon said out the window. The tree shaked and winked.
"Th....an.....ks!" The Tree then shook back into place and settled down. Back into its normal form. Leon Left the curtains wide open and Laid on his bed. Whens the next class? Leon thought. He then looked at his schedule. Two hours. Thats good enough. he thought to himself and quickly found himself asleep and dreaming.

Logan opened the door and it creaked loudly. He sighed as he pushed the door as wide as it could get until it banged against the wall. "Oops," Logan mumbled as he closed the door quietly. He then threw the keys on his desk and dropped his bag on the bed and pulled out his labtop. "Ah. Now let's see what we're going to do to torture the students this year."

Professor Volker adjusted his glasses so he could see the keyhole better as he attempted to unlock the door a second time. "Damn", he thought, "I am going blind already!" So many pages had he poured over already... and he was just starting to enter mid-life. "Ahh, there!" *creaking of opening door*
Karl Volker was happy to return to the University, but it also meant that he had to once again temporarily stop his research overseas. "It is important that I discover the missing pieces to the puzzle of my research, but I must pass on what I know now, just in case..." Prof. Volker let his thoughts trail off there. He didn't really want to think about the 'just in case' scenario. There would be time enough for that later.
Tossing his brief case, backpack and other belongings on the bed, Karl opened the drapes to look out upon the campus. "So many minds to teach and learn from... Hello once more old friends...greetings to you who will become new ones."

I was unaware of the conventions allowed or not. I don't remember reading anything about it either way anywhere on the site. If there were clear cut guidelines as to what is allowed or not and what was expected, it would help. I will take your input into consideration, but it could have been handled via PM or something. Having my first post criticized publicly for such a minor thing is a bit disconcerting.

Returning from the library, Professor Volker began to read the mysterious tome.
Karl remained transfixed and almost shouted aloud as he reached a certain passage... "De Vermis seems convinced that the city actually existed!"

James snuck around not knowing if he was supposed to be in here or not, eventually he seen what had to be a history teacher shouting at his book. James was a little freaked out, that his teacher had to yell it out but he continued to walk over there and stood there not wanting to disturb the teacher in his reading.

Noticing a student at the doorway, Professor Volker looks up from his book and says: "Hello...are you the student that wants to enroll in the Taoist texts class? A few people let me know that a student was looking for me. I just want to say upfront, that the class is not an easy 'A' type of class. However, any student that applies them self could certainly ace it. If you are interested in taking the course, just get the 2 texts listed at the History Center and show up on Monday. Otherwise, are there any questions I can answer for you?"

Frowning, Professor Volker began, "If you have to ask that question, then I already question your ability to synthesize the information that will be presented in my class into useful knowledge. However, that being said, in answer to your question. yes indeed, it could apply to everyday life. All Philosophy has some merit and certain philosophies tend to have greater merit for the individual in daily living. As the class title intimates, the texts will be presented in light of current 21st century Western experience. Beyond that, there are uses that the more adept mind could find ..." Karl appraised this seemingly impetuous student, wondering if they might still be interested.

Karl smirked as the student left and thought to himself that maybe that one had some potential. "There may be a few bright ones that the deeper secrets I have gleaned can be passed on to. I will see how this one does and keep my eyes on him."

Dr Evelyn Roth looked out of one of the windows of the place she called home for the next year. She let out a little sigh watching outside, lost in her thoughts for a second. Her light blonde hair was tied up into a pony tail and she was ready for lessons, in a simple red shirt with black knee-length skirt and boots. Not long now Evei and then you can go and see him again. She thought to herself
Him wasn't anyone speical in the romantic sort of way, rather he was the reason she had become a doctor of psychology, her long time best friend was currently and had been for the past six years in a mental institution. She looked around the room for any of the other teachers.
