Ok, so last night before I stopped playing, I saved my game. When I went to load it today, tyhe game freezes, and the text gets all messed up. The music stops playing as well. I know I didnt turn off my DS before it was done saving, because I walked around for a few seconds afterwards. Is there anything I can do to recover my game? Or it it lost forever? Anyone else have this problem?
And I had just gotten my horse too T.T

sadly, I think that file is lost. emo So, unless you save alternately in each slot, the only option is to start over. It's a common issue, although if you have a newer version cartridge (as opposed to a launch one), it doesn't seem to be as common.
On the up side, it doesn't sound like you were that far in, so it's not like you lost 4 game years. emo

Is there any chance nintendo will replace first generation game cartriges? Since they are so glitchy and all? The only problem is, I got the game a while ago, but didnt start playing until last week =(
EDIT: Ok, On Fogu I found a guide to knowing which version you have, and it seems I have version 1.05, which isnt the newest version with all the glitches fixed and stuff. That sthinks >.>

That sthinks >.> That's the version that I have. 3nodding I've only had a few freezing glitches (maybe 2 in the whole time I've had it) and no corruption glitches yet. ::knocks on every single bit of wood in her apartment:: I've yet to receive an answer about if there's anything different/fixed in version 1.05. @.@;;

I'm so sorry for your loss of the game file D:
I think I have the newer version.
They say that in the new version, it takes AGES to upgrade the milker.
And thats just the thing with my game. It really takes AGES. ;P
In the old versions, using the milker anywhere makes the level go up high really fast.
Well, at least faster then in the newer version.
If you make he milker go up to level 99, you'll get 99 bottles of milk every time you milk a single cow!
- That would make a huge income ;O

On the up side, it doesn't sound like you were that far in, so it's not like you lost 4 game years. emo lucky you only lost 4?! i lost 500m and 11 years!!!! sadly i didnt have a wife on year 11 sweatdrop everytime i litered the affection went from 65.sumthing k to 0
