Thoughts blazing through the young blue mare's head as she walked fastly through the woods. She was looking for something. Her wings were dropped slightly to hide the huge belly that had slowly grown. How could this have happened? It wasn't easy keeping her wings this way, but it was what she was doing for now. She didn't want to admit it, not just yet. She had to talk to a certain stallion first.
She was almost in tears, yet holding them back. How could she really talk to him? The last time she had seen him, he had been with a family. Or at least he had kids of his own. Maybe there was a misunderstanding there. Something that she really hoped it was. Which made her feel slightly selfish. She felt heavy, and weak, though she was determined to find him.
Her curled mane floated in the air lovely, sparkling with each time the sun hit her through the trees above. Though the air was cold and crisp. Telling her that Fall was there. Even the trees said it was there as they were slowly turning beautiful shades of orange, brown, and red. Her belly wasn't too big, but big enough for her to notice that there was something growing within her. She let a soft sigh as she finally slowed down. Not trying to push herself too hard.

 Lonatos walked through the tall grass as the autumn sun shone down from up above. Every once and a while a leaf would fall from the trees near by and float alongside him in the cool breeze. Lonatos didn't pay much attention as to where he was headed, he just kept walking occasionally looking around at all the fall colors everywhere.
Lonatos hadn't left his teepee much lately, ever since he had returned from his little journey to clear his mind he had mostly stayed with his two-legger Kaya. He needed to get out more, and it seemed like the right day for that for some reason.
As he continued walked towards a clearing Lonatos looked up again at everything. This time though, his surroundings seen very familiar. He paused as he tried to think of why for a moment. It didn't take him very long before the memory came rushing back to him. This was the last place he had seen a certain someone, Jeevita. There last meeting started out wonderful, so wonderful that it was too good to be true. Lonatos shook his head lightly to get out of his train of thought, he had thought alot about how things had turned out that day and he didn't want to go back to that it hurt too much.
Lonatos kept walking slowly, he found himself wondering what Jeevita might be up to now after all this time.

Jeevita entered a familiar surroundings she remembered too well. The first place she had met him. Her tears had stopped, yet she still looked as if she had cried. Bloodshot puffy eyes, and she was sniffing every once in a while. She flicked her curled tail as she continued to walk, her eyes looking wide as she finally spotted who she wanted to find. Orange shimmered in the autumn sun as he walked. She suppressed a sigh, and more tears as she started to made her way to him. Taking a deep breath.
Her wings still down slightly, hiding her enormous belly. She'd have to tell him before he saw for himself. It was the only way they could talk. She tried to smile, just in case he saw her, but it hurt even more. She continued to take deep breaths as she got closer, thinking he was in ear shot. "Lon...Lonatos." She said slightly soft, yet loud enough to carry in the air.
The breeze was blowing making her mane dance around her face. Bits of her feathers on her wings bent here and there, then settled back a little fluffed up. Tears started up in her eyes, yet she continued to fight them back.

Lonatos walked slowly in a sort of a daze. He stopped suddenly though when he heard his name. He knew that voice, though it seemed a bit different. At first he thought he must had only imagined it, but to his surprise when he turned around he saw that it truly was.. Jeevita! He didn't know what to say at first so he just stood there.
After a couple of seconds of standing there, Lonatos walked over to her slowly. "Jeevita?" He said somewhat as if he still almost didn't believe it. He had not expected to see her on this little walk of his. He looked at her with the sunlight shining down upon her, she looked almost glowing. But then again she did always seem to shine in the sun before as well.
From where Lonatos was he could not really see the pain that she tried to hide behind her smile. He paused again, he had so much he had wanted to tell her for so long but now that the moment finally presented itself no words could seem to come out.

She looked to the ground. This was very awkward. She flicked her tail again and looked back up at him. This was going to be hard. Though, she had to tell him. "How.... How have you been?" She said trying to act happy. She flicked her wings almost forgetting that she was trying to hide her belly. Though, stopped just in time.
She was keeping together pretty well, though she was still fighting back tears. Waiting just a bit so they could talk without totally bringing her belly into the picture quite yet.

Lonatos looked at her for a moment. He wanted so bad to tell her the truth that he had felt terrible, that he felt so guilty for all the pain he caused her.. but he couldn't bring himself to say all of that, not yet atleast. This meeting seemed to be going relatively good so far and he didn't want to ruin it by reminding her what had happened.
Lonatos closed his eyes for a brief second as if it pained him to lie to her. "I have been... okay.." He said as he paused for a moment, oh how he wish things were like it used to be between them. "How have you been miss Jeevita?"

She let out a small laugh, that was more like a gasp for air, but she added a laugh at the end. Or tried. She looked away from him and then back at him. Still fighting those tears. "Ah... Well.." She started off, trying to find the exact words she had thought up when she was coming to find him. Of course, by now they where gone and she couldn't remember what she was going to say. His presents made it hard for her to say anything.
"Ah... I have something to tell you." She said with a half laugh. Not a gasp for air this time. It had to come out now. Now or never, and she couldn't not allow him not to know. Or allow her kids to never meet their father. "I'm.." She started though it seemed the words caught in her throat. Or more, her tears started up again. Running down her face, she looked in dead in the eye, then closed them. "I'm Pregnant" she said in a very weak voice.
What else was there to say now? Well she felt a little better. She lifted her wings finally, showing off her enormous belly hidden away. "It's yours." She added looking to the ground now. She hoped he believed her that it, or they, where his.

Lonatos watched Jeevita curiously as she struggled to find the right words. He was very curious to see what she had to say, after all he had spent a lot of time wondering how she was doing. When she said she had something to tell him Lonatos held his breath from a moment not sure whether or not he wanted to hear it.
When he heard the two words I'm pregnant, Lonatos just stood there in shock. That was not at all something he had expected her to say. He had thought maybe she would say she was with someone else now or something but pregnant? And then when he saw her belly and she told him that she was pregnant with his foals he couldn't believe it. In any other situation he would be estatic to hear such news from Jeevita, but right now he didn't know what to say. Afterall he hadn't seen her in months and then out of the blue she drops the news on him, who wouldn't be surprised. "Ah.. how.. are you sure?" Of course he knew that she was telling the truth he just didn't know what to say.
Lonatos looked at her closely and saw the tears running down her face, she seemed so sad. Was she not happy about the fact that she was carrying his children. His heart sank a little bit, he knew she must still be angry with him for what had happened before. He gently nudge her head up a bit to look at him, though it pained him to see her cry. "Oh don't cry Jeevita.." He wished he could comfort her but he was not sure how or even if she wanted him to, he looked at her for a sign.

Jeevita almost laughed when he asked her if she was sure. How couldn't she be? She wasn't with anyone else. Her wings twitched as an awkward silence came between them for a moment. So, what was he thinking? She wanted to know what else he thought. Sure it was something that could shock anyone. She flicked her tail.
She tried to stop crying as he nudged her. The world seemed to stop as she looked back at him. She sighed. "I..." She started " I don't know what to do." She looked back down to the ground. She couldn't raise them on her own, but she couldn't ask him to leave his family. She still didn't know that he didn't care for the other mare like she thought he did.
"I shouldn't have came here." She said under her breath. What was she thinking? She looked back at him finally. "I'm... sorry." She said quietly. Hoping that he would forgive her for looking for him. Though, she longed for him to say something, anything that had to do with them. She gave him a weak smile.

Lonatos looked at her and smiled at her softly. "I will help you Jeevita.. we can get through this together." He said and nodded his head still looking at her. She was obviously scared so he tried his best to be strong for her even if he was a little scared as well.
When Jeevita said she shouldn't have come he become confused. "Why shouldn't you have come here?" Did she not want him to be a part of raising the foals that were inside of her? His small smile disappeared a bit. "There is no need to be sorry Jeevita.. if anything I am the one who is sorry." He nodded his head slightly.

His words gave her a slight shock. She didn't expect him to say that at all. Didn't he have another family that he was happy with? Or was there something he didn't tell her. Well, she didn't exactly let him tell her when she saw them. Her heart broke in half when she saw them and they called him father. Her mind was buzzing with thought. "You.... You will?"
She shook her head. She didn't know what she was saying. "You have a family already." She looked at him with a confused look as he said he should be the one sorry. "Oh?" was all she said as she looked at him with a questionable look.

Lonatos saw that she was shocked but he didn't know why exactly. Did she think that he was going make her go through this alone? He would never do that, he thought she would know him better than that. Then again it was his fault, he had caused her pain before she probably thought he would do it again. "Of course I will help you Jeevita!"
At the mentioning of him already having a family he sighed softly and shook his head lightly. "Jeevita, I may have a daughter who I haven't seen and a long time and I have a son but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want a family with you." He said and nodded his head. "And I am sorry I have caused you so much pain and have made you so afraid to see me again that you have had to do this on your own..."

It took her a few seconds to let the words he said run though her mind before she actually realized what he had said. Her mind was racing, was that what he wanted to tell her when she fled. She looked slightly relieved, though embarrassed for even thinking otherwise. She looked away from him, anywhere but him was good for now. She felt so stupid. She shifted her way from one side to the next, a habit she had picked up since she began to become fat.
A slight awkward silence came over her as she looked back at him. "The one that should be sorry, then, is me." She felt ashamed of herself. She looked away from him again, moving her wings a bit. No point in hiding her belly now. The one that needed to know from her, now does. She gave him a weak smile.

"I tried to tell you before that Hestia was just my two-leggers sister's soquili and she wanted so badly to be mother but had no mate or anyone since she had not know many other soquili. I decided to help her become a mother, and I am glad I did since I now have my son Shilah but I never meant to hurt you. But I think you couldn't hear me because you took off, though who could blame you finding out like you did.." The words Lonatos had longed to be able to tell Jeevita for all this time had finally come out. He sighed lightly a little relieved to finally be able to say it all.
He nudge her head over again so he could look her in the eyes. "Jeevita, don't be sorry.. it was my fault.. really it was.." He said and paused nodding his head lightly. "I had no idea before that you didn't know about all of this, I assumed that I had told you and it didn't cross my mind that you didn't know. Because I didn't tell you, you had to find out in a way that must have been very hard for you and because of that I am truly very sorry." Lonatos nuzzled her lightly.

The wind continued to blow, though she didn't even notice it. Her surroundings seemed to have stopped a while ago. Everything seemed so quiet, except for the words they had spoken. Like the world was holding it's breath as it watched them. She didn't know what to do except for nuzzle him back. She could feel her heart pound a bit, this had gone a lot better then she had thought it would have gone. Though, nothing ever goes how one plans.
Again tears rolled down her turquoise face, making it glitter as it slowly dripped off her chin. "Who ever fault it was, or is, it's in the past."She said finally. They had something more important to expect now. "The future is all we can look forward to right now." She said with another weak smile. She turned slightly and looked to her belly. "I mean, they deserve a happy life, with the both of us." Her tears weren't sad anymore, they were happy ones.
Her mane danced around her face as she looked at Lonatos again. "We can start over." She said with a nod. Starting over sounded great. Leave what happened in the past, in the past, and start a new future. "Starting with them" She added with a smile.
