He glided silently through the water, the current forcing itself against his silver fins as he made his way through the icy ocean, the darkness of the deep enveloping him in their shadows.
He was alone, as he always roamed, destined to forever be the rogue he was born. Emotions meant nothing. Survival meant everything.
Hollow, deep eyes lazily gazed about at his surroundings. He had traveled for days, like he tended to do, but his migration had brought him to unfamiliar waters. Water in which territory he would soon claim to be his own.
Rising from the depths, the water soon found itself warming his slippery form, his gills taking in the oxygen as he breathed through the salty ocean. Dozens of sharp fangs remained still within his large mouth, as the dark eyes continued to scope out his next meal.
Hunger. Destruction. Death.
All urges he constantly was in pursuit of sating, all urges he enjoyed satisfying. Which he would satisfy first, only time would tell.

Angathi laughed and flicked his tail as the game continued. The Kelpi Knight had no territory and only a hidden cavern to truly call his own... and so he went where he pleased and when he pleased - and to the Deeps if anything went horribly wrong. He was more vulnerable now, without his MerKnight, Mishos, with him - the partner of his soul and life. But Mishos was gone forever, taken away from the cruelties of the Sea in the form of a great shark. Even Angathi wore the scars of that fateful battle that left him alone.
But now, well, he wasn't dwelling on such upsetting thoughts. Instead he frolicked with two young dolphins. They were twins and a rarity in their own right. In his own broken mind, Angathi could not understand all their chittering and chattering, although he remembered a time when he did.
One of the twins, the female, jumped out of the water and then splashed back down as she dove below. Angathi followed her, his thick tail working hard to gain her speed. Of course, his body was not made for speed. But it didn't matter, for that was the ploy.
Her brother came by and pushed him to the side. As they rolled together - Angathi trying not to strike the dolphin with horn or hooves - the sister came and joined the fun.
There were no horrors, no fears and concerns, no Evil lurking in the dark. For now, there was just one lonely Kelpi Knight and two twin dolphins enjoying each other's company as they played around in the currents.
