It was a time of hate for the world, Another time wich people judged others about how they looked or acted. It was a sad time for the neko people. They were sold and treated as slaves, and if not a slave they were living in fear of others. The nekos usualy obayed their masters and if they didn't a strict punishment would be brought upon them. Some nekos rebeled against their masters but they were saverly punished. This time is a dark time indeed...

Alice was on her knees on a small stage in the center of a small town, heavy chains drapped her arms, legs, and neck. Her eyes were burning with hate for the people who were starring at her, whispereing, pointing and laughing. She wanted to cry out 'Stop it you jerks!' but she couldn't do it now, her owner was in a bad mood. Sevral other nekos were chained up by her as well. "Let's start the bidding!" her owner shouted as the crowed got peped up to buy more slaves.

Adell watched the disgusting scene from the alley nearby and stepped into the crowd, an idea in his head. He gently took out his pocket watch and swung it uner a mans legs, making him think the man next to him had brushed his leg. THe man threw a blow to his face, and a near riot broke out, driving most of the crowd off. Those who didnt were too busy fighting. "So, I guess buisness wont be so brisk?" he asked the trader, grinning smuggly

He looked angerly over at Adell. Alice smiled and murmured a small giggle as she looked out at the people. Her owner noticed and smacked her so hard in the back of the head that she fell forward, her face hitting the hard stage. Then her owner shouted at what was left of the crowed to calm down.

Adell saw the man hit the girl and snapped. He took his cane, a sign of his class, and cracked the silver tip across the man's shins, bringing him to eye level with Adell. Adell's fist seemed to dissapear for a second and was suddenly buried in the man's face. Blood and snot flew everywhere as the man hurtled off the stage and into a dumpster.

Alice looked up at him. Her eyes were filled with shock, ususaly no one would ever do that to a slave trader just because he hit a slave. She struggled to get up due to the heavy chains. "T-thank you..." she muttered.
((So sorry, I went on a camping trip for 3 days! sweatdrop ))

She didn't say anything. Shurly just because he helped her once dosen't mean he will be kind to her, but he seemed like he would take better care of her then the trader did. At least, she hoped.
