The young cheeton as given specific rules by her father, don't go to far and run back home if she was afraid of something or there was something she didn't know infront of her.
But today was a nice day, no clouds but not overly hot and she was at her favourite watering hole.
A beautiful day.
Hidaya smiled softly at her reflection, she wasn't vain, she just loved the way the water look.
It sparkled like the stars at night.
And it was nice and cool too!
So it was obvious the little juvenille instantly dipped her paws in the liquid before splashing about slightly, disturbing the little water creatures under the surface till she stopped.
She never liked the harm little animals or anyone to be exactly frank, she was a very kind hearted child in her parents eyes and she wondered what adventures today would bring.

 The young cheeton sighed as he meandered across the lands. Really, there wasn't much of anything he could do at home today... He had too much racing through his mind. Between having freed Usiku, his mother's leopard slave, and ironing out the details on freeing Ryega, the male's head was starting to ache. Where exactly was he going? Only the gods knew. He just knew he had to get away from the loudness of his siblings to think good and hard.
In fact, Fenris was so lost in thought that when he passed another of his kind, he barely even noticed her. He plopped down in the grass, eyes glazed over as he wasn't truly using them.
First, mom'll take a nap. I'll sneak out, grab Ryega, and we'll run as fast as our paws will take us. Somewhere, anywhere. If mom wakes up... he thought to himself, going through the plan for the umpteen-millionth time.

The female raised her head to watch the other creature, cocking her head curiously at the green male as he passed her and swallowed her current mouthful of water.
She then moved over to him, not sneakily, she just wanted to see how he was doing as she watched over him.
"Are you okay?" She asked, watching him as she stood a metre away.

Fen quickly snapped out of his pondering and looked up at the creature that approached him. He could tell it was a female just from the voice... He supposed he'd been too deep in thought to notice her approach.
It wasn't until he looked up that it hit him. What was that!? Whatever it was, it was the same type of thing as he was, only female. He didn't even know what he was, but he knew the two of them were the same things. The only other cheetons (though, Fen didn't know that was what he was called) were his brothers, and he never really stopped to look at himself in the water to see what the specifics of his kind looked like.
"Uh... I'm fine," he said, distracted now with another thought. "What are you?" He asked, rising to his feet and tilting his head.

The female was a little shocked at his reaction to her, along with his question...shouldn't he know what she was? After all he was one too!
And she blinked, cocking her head to the side as an eyebrow was raised quizzically in his direction.
"Well..." She started. "I'm a cheeton, y'know, part cheetah, part lion?...Like you!" She said, automatically assuming he was one of her species as she stood there and watched him closely.
What an odd little male he was, she thought to herself quietly and kept her thoughts to herself.
Saying such things on a first meeting would be more than a little rude.

Fenris jumped back at the revelation- he wasn't the only cheeton alive! And they actually had a name, like lions were lions, and cheetahs were cheetahs. "Wow!" Fen exclaimed. "I thought my brothers and I were the only ... cheetons... around, anywhere!" The cub's face was lit excitedly- they weren't weirdos, they weren't freaks, they weren't some accident that just happened by chance! There were more than just his family... Fen smiled ear-to-ear.
"My name's Fenris, by the way," He added after realizing he had not properly introduced himself.
