Battlefield...RANDOMIZER! >O
The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was....THE ICE FIELD! The temperature of the stadium suddenly dropped several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifted for the upcoming battle. The floor was made of extremely slick ice, which would make manuverablity, even simply standing, difficult. Crystal-like pillars reached skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field.

"Ack...ice and rock really love me these days..." Luna muttered to herself. She used her spear to stay in place in the arena while unclipping a pokeball from her pants strap. She pressed the white center button and allowed it to open, releasing a red beam of light that slowly transformed into a Pidgeotto.
Pidgeotto took off into the air, more greatful than ever that it regrew its down feathers.
"Hey popsickle!" Luna said cheerfully, having thought of a new nickname for her opponent. Popai started with a P. Popsickle started with a P. So it made perfect sense, at least in her mind.

Popai and Sparky, the tiny little rat, walked into the stadium. Sparky squirmed around, a little used to the ice by now, although still not perfectly.
"What?! The Ice Field AGAIN?!" Popai screamed. He was furious. No wonder they called him Popsickle, he was always ice... ice, ice, ice. He loved Ice types, but this was too much. "Whatever." he mumbled.
"Anyway, let's do it, Sparky!" He said. He lost the last battle against Luna, but it's gonna be different this time. He was more determined, and so was Sparky. He flashed a bright yellow light to intimadate the foe, then scurried to the center of the stage, ready to battle. To battle a fierce battle with all her might.

"Yes!" Popai cheered. Sparky was used to the ice. It was still blazing cold, however. Popai had on a sweater, some mittens, a snow cap, a robe, fur slippers, a face veil, and packs of underwear. It kept him somewhat warm, but he was still shivering... with both fear and cold.
He shook his head rapidly and glanced at Sparky. He nodded in agreement that they were ready. "Sparky, use agility!" Popai said. It was perfect for this stage. The faster Sparky went, the dizzier the "bird" would be. It would also prevent him from attacking.
Sparky ran up, so quickly that it looked like she was shifting from left to right. She circled around the "bird", and starting barking while using Agility. She became faster, and faster, trying to make the "bird" dizzy.

"Pidgeotto, eyes closed! Let's reverse the spinning with twister!"
"Geooo!" Pidgeotto closed his eyes immediately, uneffected by the spinning already due to his constant use of twister attack. Then, he started to circle high into the air in a circle pattern and soon started forming fast circles himself. Soon, his circle of flying grew faster with sharper turns. And eventually, a twister started to form, making contact with the ice. Slowly, it tore through the terrain towards Sparky

"Darnit! I never thought about that. This trainer may be harder than I thought..." Popai thought. The twister collided into pillars and crushed the giant pieces of ice. It had Sparky frightened, but he was ready. He ran towards the left of the twister, but it had expanded. "Piiiiichuuuuu!!" Pichu screamed. He flew towards a giant block of ice, and made a "kruuukting" sound. Sparky wasn't damaged much, but he seemed restless. "Hey, use skull bash!" Popai said. He grunted while watching Sparky. It may be a long battle..
Sparky dashed forward rapidly, aware of any slipping and sliding. Faster and faster he went, a comet-like shape surrounded his head, or skull, to be more exact. He lunged at the "bird" and prepared to strike.

Pidgeotto blinked at the bird for a while, daring it to attack. When Sparky did, Pidgeotto immediately flew into the air, leaving Sparky and his momentum facing a crystal rock. A large spiky one at that.

((This is still when Sparky is Pichu, and before the RP!
Not paying any attention, Sparky immediately crashed into another ice block, but luckily, it broke when she hit it. "Crunnnnnntintintink!" It made a sound like glass fragments dropping on a tile floor. "Piichu.. Pichuupichuu!" Sparky whined. His head was injured, and Dennis knew automatically it was not safe to use Skull bash-- again.
"Sparky, use Flash, make that bird blind and make him CRASH INTO THE GROUND!" Dennis yelled, he didn't mean to be so serious and angry, but it was damaging to see the poor Pokemon. Sparky charged up light into his cheeks, and let it out, with an extremely light, bright flash, it could totally blind moth Pokemon and mortals.

"TOWARDS THE LIGHT PIDGEOTTO!" Luna shouts.
Pidgeotto wastes no time flying towards the Pichu who has just released a blinding flash. Although his eyes are closed, he can still feel that blinding flash. Ouch...his poor eyes! Using the painful brightness of the attack through his closed eyelids to guide him towards Sparky, he swooped in to strangle claw out Sparky's eyes as a retribution to his sore eyes.

"Piiichhuuu!!" Pichu struggled. Suddenly, she glowed... a white, bright glow that seems to thicken each second. Is she using Flash? No, that's not it. "Oh my gosh! Sparky's EVOLVING!" Dennis yelled happily. The glow dimmed and darkened, and then there it was-- a Pikachu. "Yes! Let's do it Sparky!" Sparky seemed refreshed and chipper, so she gets to start at full HP. "Sparky, use Thunderbolt!" He said. Sparky jumped onto a pillar, and his cheeks grew golden, he unleashed the true power thunder. One that can shock any lame bird down.
