Bambadege stretched under a large boulder, opening her eyes sleepily. But of course, Bambi did not awake from sleep. No, of course not. Because one had to first go to sleep to thus awake from it. She left the shelter of its shadow with ease, picking her way through the relatively rocky terrain until she came back to the Savannah, scanning around for something suitable to do. Spotting a grove of trees in the distance, she trotted towards them. One might expect her to think or say she did not recognize the trees or recall ever seeing trees. But Bambi remembered nothing and therefore did not recall anything. Nor did she let that puzzle her. What could she ever want to imagine - or remember?

Kaa failed to notice the approaching female, as he was lay on his back staring up at the sky. A tree prevented him from getting a clear view, but it was so hot today that he just had to lie in the shade. "Groovy." He murmered as he watched the clouds float by through the various gaps in the treetop.

With an almost constant grin on his face, his bright red eyes didn't leave the sky until the sound of someone approaching reached his ears. His grin widened slightly as he listened, recognising the rather dainty footsteps that would suggest that it was a female approaching. Or some sort of fruity male. Curious, he rolled on to his side to see who the footsteps belonged to. It was indeed a female, and a gorgeous one at that. "Where have you been all my life?" He cooed as she got closer.

Bambi's eyelashes fluttered and she turned her head to look at the male. She should have seen him but her mind simply hadn't taken him into account. And here he was, all over her like stripes on a zebra. Not that she minded. She didn't have the appropriate mind to tell her no, having no past experiences to tell her so.

She got a little shiver as they got closer, a slight bristling of her skin, but then she beamed at him as though he had just given her the world. "Oh, just over there," she laughed pointing in the direction she had come from. Witty usually needed past experiences from which to draw on and she had none. She wondered at all the delightful things about them up in the trees, for a moment, taking in the splendor of her first time seeing trees today.

Kaa quickly got to his feet to greet the female properly, and to get a better look at her. She was insanely pretty, but then, so were most females in Kaa's eyes. Grinning, he moved closer to her, before sitting himself down just a few feet away. He didn't want to scare the poor girl off before he had even attempted to woo her.

He laughed at the female's answer, thinking that she was just being witty when in reality she was simply stating a fact. "You're sooooooo funny." There was an airy tone to his voice, as if he was in a trance-like state just looking at the beautiful female. If he weren't so eager not to screw things up, he would've been drooling. "My name's Kaa, what's yours?"

Bambadege giggled and leaned closer, fluttering her eye lashes, dreamily before flouncing off to circle the tree right next to them and peer from behind it as if playing a game with him. She really didn't quite think about what she was doing which would explain why she probably looked so funny doing what she was doing. It just literally came natural to her.

"You're funny too," she giggled. "I'm Bambadege but you can call me Bambi." Ooooh, this was a fun game, whatever sort of game it was. She liked games. She just liked having fun period. And this looked like a promising way to do so.

Kaa's tongue lolled out of his mouth in disbelief at the female's seemingly playful and flirty behavior. Bambi could very well be the wild dog of his dreams! With this in mind, and with a huge grin on his face, Kaa got right back to hit feet and went to chase Bambi around the tree. "That's a really cute name." He cooed, his tail wagging like crazy at this point.

For a moment, it occured to him that all this could be too good to be true. Or perhaps he was actually dreaming. In the past, pretty much every female he came into contact with was instantly put off by his poor chat up lines and his over-eagerness to please. This one seemed to like all that though! "Is it hot around here, or is it just you?" He grinned mischieviously.

At this comment, she drew her brows together in a confused look. She did not get that one. Did not understand it, nope, nope. But she moved her head away to almost a profile shot and tilted her head, smiling at him. From his grin, it couldn't be something bad at all, could it? The male was being so nice to her. Bambi let out a small set of laughter at his line and tone of voice.

Bambi still didn't understand the rules. She wondered if she was supposed to say something. The trend seemed to be about talking about each other. So.... she could give it a try? "That's quite the mane you've got there," she said with a wink. Ooooh, this was fun~!

As Bambi tilted her head, Kaa tilted his so that they were both looking at each other from the same angle. At this point, the only thing that could've wiped the smile off his face was if he dropped dead, and that was very unlikely to happen. He noted that she looked somewhat confused though, so he would have to try harder with his chat-up lines.

When the female returned his compliment, his grin managed to spread even wider. If he wasn't in such a dream-like state, his face might actually be aching! "You're soooo pretty, you make flowers look icky!" That was Kaa's attempting at poetry. Yup, he was one smooth operator.

Bambi smiled at him and then burst into laughter. "I don't make flowers look icky!" she exclaimed with a giggle. Oh gosh, she should hope not. Flowers were quite pretty, the pretty orchids she had seen curled around the tree branches. It was scary to think they were prettier but she made them uglier. But it almost made her want to hide behind something and try to catch the flowers unaware, see what they looked like before she corrupted them.

She pawed at him, giving him a sign easily mistaken as encouragement: waving her paw lazily at him as if swatting away the comment. "Don't say such a thing," she said, with a teasing tone in her voice. She was horrible at sending the right messages ...but how should she know?

(( Sorry for the long wait luff! ))

Kaa grinned widely. "You know it's true." He mused, although he was unsure if Bambi really did know just how gorgeous she was. "I've never seen a wild dog with colours like yours. They're so...out there! Totally groovy." If the flirty wild dog wasn't so confident in his appearence, he wouldn't have felt like he was good enough for the beautiful female. Thankfully, Kaa was quite full of himself.

When Bambi pawed at him, Kaa flicked his mini mohawk back and moved closer to her, but not so close that he was breathing right down her neck. Just close enough so that he could gaze into her eyes. "You're the greatest wild dog EVER." He cooed dreamily.

((np, I've been rather slow to replying lately so all is well xD;; ))
"Oooh, you really like them?" she asked and. pulling herself away, paraded herself in front of him as if to show them off, looking at them herself. "Oh that can't be true," she said pulling close to him as if sharing a secret. "Surely you're greater than me?" She might have a stroke from all the compliments that he was giving her so it was probably for the best that she didn't get the full meaning of his statements.

As it was, she was having the time of her life and it'd be kind of saddening when the day came to an end.

Kaa's tongue once again lolled out of his mouth as Bambi modelled her fabulous coat for him. "It's soooo true! I can't believe you didn't know this!" He replied, as if the whole world knew that Bambi had the best coat ever. And it was so sweet of her to think that Kaa was greater. "Naaah..." He grinned. "I'm great, but not THAT great."

Maybe he should ask her to be his mate now? Kaa certainly wasn't one to hang around, but thinking about it, nothing good had ever come of him asking a female to be his mate prematurely. Bambi was too good to let go, so he would have to play it as cool as he could manage. "So...umm...where do you live?"

((sorry for taking over two months to reply))

Bambi raised an eyebrow. She had assumed that he would be better than her but apparently he didn't agree? Hmm well maybe she had some learning to do.

"Where do I live...?" she stopped to ponder. Well she didn't live anywhere as fas as she knew. To live somewhere you had to be there almost constantly but given she didn't have memories to draw on, she clearly couldn't live anywhere. "Nowhere," she said. "I wander." It wasn't far from the actual truth but it was also the best answer she could give. "Why? Where do you live?" It wasn't bad that she didn't live anywhere, right?

(( X3 NP. ))

Kaa's face lit up at Bambi's reply. "I'm a wanderer too!" He grinned. "We have sooo much in common, don't you agree?" Saying that, he moved a little closer to her, his tail wagging the whole time. He wouldn't be able to hold back for much longer.

"I could tell as soon as I saw you that we had a connection. We're like the sun and the moon, the earth and the sky, the sea and the land! Tell me you feel it too?"

Bambi wasn't sure about what he was saying just that it must be good if he said it. He had only been complimenting her for the whole time so it had to be good. She personally didn't think the sea and land would work since it'd drown the land and the sky would crush the earth if it came down, and all that stuff. But Bambi wasn't known for being very intellectual which was a sort of loss.

"You really think so?" she said with a smile like he had said the best thing he could have. "I didn't think it was possible for two creatures."
