 She couldnt help it, she thought as she trotted along the sunrise kissed path, she couldnt get over the pain of her mothers betrayal. She tried to shake it off, let it not consume all her thoughts, she thought of the spunky and self assured Amary, and she tossed her mane.
She could be like that, she thought with small smile tugging on her muzzle. She'd try not to scare others away today, as the sun's colors danced across the sky like a proud banner of welcoming, she nodded her head, her jagged bangs dancing. she ruffled her wings and looked up to the sky, taking in all its beauty and wonder, she smiled. Sorrow seemed etched into her tropical blue eyes, but the smile she held, held hope in it.

Aedelstan snorted softly and raised his head, eying the clouds as the sun broke through them. Normally he wasn't up early enough to see the sky go from dark to light, but he'd been a bit restless. Idly, he leaned down to grab a mouthful of grass, before movement caught his eye. Glancing up, he spotted the shadow of the mare and the rustle of wings. Surely Gemma and Rapheal were still asleep?
"Hello?" he said softly, watching the other figure with some uncertainty. He wasn't particularly used to meeting new people.

Her attention snapped back to the lands around her as a voice caught her attention, for a moment she looked like a deer caught in headlights, but slowly she relaxed.
It would be okay, she was fine. She took a calming breath, and slowly let it out.
"Hello.." She called back unsurely, maybe she was trampling on someone's land, she knew that herds like to claim stake to certain parts of the land during certain times during the year.

Aedel took a hesitant step forward, catching the look of panic on the other horse's face. He immediately felt guilty.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to startle you! Um."
The unicorn shuffled his hooves a bit, not sure what to say next. She looked a bit upset...
"Er, are you.. okay?" He inquired hesitantly. She reminded him a bit of Gemma, only he didn't think he'd ever seen Gemma be unsure or upset. In fact, he rarely saw anyone being upset! It worried him.

"Its okay.." She sent him a soft smile, she'd never heard anyone besides her father sound so concerned about her well fare, it was a bit odd.
The alicorn shifted her wings slightly, she flickered an ear. "It should be me asking for your forgiveness. I didn't know anyone else was around..I'm sorry if I woke up." She bowed her head in respect, and as an apology.
"Im Anemone.." She offered her name as she lifted her head, her gaze shifted from the stallion that stood before her, to the sky above them both, then back to him. They were both very beautiful.

"Oh, um.. good!" Aedel said hastily, shifting his weight from one leg to another and watching the mare anxiously.
He tilted his head as she apologized. "Oh, no, I was already awake!" He assured her nervously. "Really! Normally I'm not up this early, but today I was." he nodded earnestly to emphasize his point.
"Anemone?" The unicorn repeated thoughtfully. That was in interesting name.. bit hard to say.
"My name is Aedelstan." He replied after a short pause. He'd almost forgotten his manners!

She giggled a bit, someone was as at ends as she was. It was comforting to know she wasnt completely alone in the world.
"Usually Im not either, just restless I guess." She sent him a smile.
"I know, its a bit of a mouthful, my friend Zari calls me Ane if you'd prefer that instead." She gazed over the land, she hoped he didnt think she was staring. Oh that was so rude.
"Aedelstan..Its a pleasure to meet you." His name was as orginal as hers, another pleasing thought.
