____Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to do this, but I don't know where else to do it.
I need help on choosing some things for the dollfie that I am working on. My funds are...underconstrution. And I'm not exactly sure about the budget yet. I know I should start with that in mind, but this dollfie has been wanting to be made by myself for sometime.
Okay, I've made up my mind, and I have decided to make a B A N dollfie. Eheh if you haven't noticed already, I totally adore him. :] He is such an amazing drummer and a very cool person. So I thought a dollfie made after him would be the coolest.
But I have run into a few problems. What size should I make him?(I have to get my funds up) And what version should I make of him? He has so many different looks and I love them all. ;;_;; So if anyone could help...that would be so nice!!
Here are some versions that I had in mind. And YES I want to do all of his piercings. :] And I've been having a tough time finding a dollfie head with the right nose. ;/

(I just realized that I have sooo many pictures of him. So many choices!!~)
Thing's I have Accomplished Already(or are in mind)
- - Okay, I was thinking of using the new 55cm boy obitsu boy with a Gretel/Henzel head. (-what do you think?)
- - I will do my own face up since, his makeup is very perplexed.
- - The eyes, I have two to choose from, I will post them.
- - But then I fell in love with this little boy.

Have you considered possibly ordering a Dim Minimee head for this project? The Minimee's of celebrity's have been coming out really nicely (check out this thread to see 3 examples).
Cost is $380 for two heads. Plus $50 per head because it is a celebrity.
So basically that is $240 per head. However each additional head you order is only $70 (Plus the extra $50 per head due to celebrity-ness), so if you were to possibly get a group order together and divided the amount equally you can get the cost per head to be much smaller.
Even with ordering just 4 heads instead of 2 the cost per head goes down to $180
The body you would have to purchase separate, either from another company that matches the resin color. Or D.I.M is starting to sell a 'minimee male body' for $275 which is exactly the same mold as the Love male body but the resin matches the minimee resin color.
Just putting that idea out there for you.

I have been having problems with the gaia redirection thing not letting me scroll down to read things while it is still up so I have to hit the close button (or whatever it says) and let pages re-load before I can see anything.
Hmm are you a member of DoA?

All the heads look really good.
A few months ago someone ordered an Angelina Jolie Minimee head and it was just... wow I think the pictures of that head and how good it looked really got the Minimee movement started. The D.I.M guy didn't think Minimee would last long because he didn't think anyone would be interested in it. But boy was he wrong. XD

If you are a member of Den of Angels now then the link I gave you should work when you are logged on. But that is just owner pics of already made Minimee's.
In order to actually order one you have to go to the D.I.M website (dimdoll.com). Or to get more information about the Minimee project itself then there is a thread on the DoA forums (Link)
