Oh man the new episode was so good! For once we see Azula's flaw. ha ha she is so bad at giggling like a normal girl, and we get to see at all the other groups true feelings, even azula. the ending was great how they trashed Chan's place, left him crying without even letting him know they were royalty! ah that was really good. xd

i totally agree with you!!!!1 that episode ruled! but it was kind of a sob story though when zuko was yelling at azula and the gang..for a second i thought he was going to cry I SWEAR! anywho, other than that the episode was really cool i practically laughed my head off when they were like wreaking that person's house..also i have a speculation that since aang could bend all of the elements he will some how beat that psychic dude with his own medicine! do you think that is kind of irrational or no? lol sweatdrop

I hated this episode. It just looked to me like a fanfic being animated. It even had the Zuko fangirls making a cameo. And the Zutaras had a 3 minute victory dance when Mai and Zuko broke up followed by a "crying-a-river" ceremony when they got together again at the end.

And Azula... she was completely disappointing. Here I was expecting her to be as cunning as always and here we get a Mary sued version. Here goes my tragic past, my character flaws, oh come here and pity me. Oh, bite me.

I don't hate the "sob-emo bonding time" they had, but why is it that most writers think that character development= tragic pasts? Must everyone be miserable in a story? I'm sick of "daddy/mommy didn't love me" stories. Ugh!

I'm just going to pretend this episode didn't happen. Azula was completely out of character. Just because she's a teenager doesn't mean she has to be freaking boy crazy. I wasn't, my best friends weren't either. The sole idea that she would turn into a moron over a worthless guy is a insult to the character. Azula's the kind of girl who would be attracted to smarts and power, this idiots was lame as hell. Just Ugh!

I don't know. This episode was amusing, but pointless.

It was like DoA beach volleyball meets the Breakfast Club.

With a dose of forced humor. Usually I laugh at avatar, but the jokes seemed too forced and coming out of Azula it just came as a disappointment to the character.

Make her fall in love, fine. But at least make it an actually cool guy.

Hey, someone shares my views.

I thought the ep started out okay, promising, even. But it was too much silly, too little story. Even the bits with Aang and such seemed... off. The fight wasn't too bad, I guess... Idunno. Something about the entire ep didn't ring true.

I dont think she was trying to find love but more like Attention, Like how she was up set that Chan dint give her attention. I mean Ty Lee got ton of attention, Even Super Emo Mai who was taken got more attention then her. So she wanted attention, thats not uncommon, exspcaly for a female teenager(Sorry, just what I noticed thought my high school life). So Azula just wanted attention, Plan and simple. it was like they where trying to make up for lack of the zucrew by doing the fanfic eps. though I dint hate it but not my favoret.

The problem is that. If she wanted attention all she had to do is show she's the princess. It would be in Azula to do such a thing. Heck I was exited when she stopped Zuko from revealing she's a princesses because I thought she would make them pay and then tell them she's the princess. That's the kind of attention Azula commands.

And even if she wanted attention without revealing she's a princess I believe Azula would have done it in a different way. She's cunning and as great making strategies and analyzing a situation. Plus she's hot.

The fact that she goes giggling over a corner and then goes into the balcony and makes out with this lame guy, who completely doesn't deserve it, and then has her already picturing them as a couple in a psycho way... Ugh! It just doesn't seem to be able to compute in my mind.

If they wanted to show ackward Azula, let it be because of wanting attention or wanting to feel something, they should have done it in a more tasteful way and then I would be glad and would be happy to call it character development.

Also she apologizes to Ty lee. Completely OOC! How many times Azula pushes Ty lee around without a peep or regret?! Having her apologize just makes me go WTF?! Heck, if they wanted Azula to apologize at least make her apologize after the emo-fest BBQ, then at least I would understand where the remorse is coming from!

Aye, I'm in it for story, not shippings or whatever. I don't like what's become of Zuko. They just... didn't seem to really explain the dramatic change come over him. Sure, he's back home, dad talks, yadda yadda, but it's still too dramatic a change.

The only moment I liked Zuko was in season 2 after the fever incident in Ba sing Se. He seemed like he got away from all the emoness crap. But now he's an even bigger one. I would love to change the Avatar Zuko with the Avatar abridged Zuko. rofl

And I'm not in for the ships. I'm either uncaring or annoyed at the love relationships. I just love Azula, Toph, and Sokka. They make the show for me. xd

I dont think it was completly ouf of chareter for her to apolagize, I mean Ty Lee is still her friend and she said some very mean things to her friend, even if your a heartless b***h, you don't cut your close friends like that, exspcaly in public. I think that made her seem slightly more human, and yeah...the only thing I could come up with her to make out with Chen was because of a moment of out of teenage angst, maybe to show herself she could get whatever she wanted, if only to prove it to herself.

Eh, I didn't mind angry Zuko for the most part. There were a few times it went a little overboard, but he was decent. Now... it doesn't seem right.

Toph is definitely great. Blind jokes have never been funnier. Otherwise, though, I'm primarily watching to enjoy a great story. And sometimes, like tonight, the comedy bits thrown in just get in the way. But, it's a kids' show, still, so not much one can do about it.

See, everyone forgets the first time we meet Ty Lee at the circus. Remember how Azula takes off the tent, places dangerous animals at the botton and flames it up? Azula didn't apologize. If she didn't apologize about terrorizing her out of the life of her dreams after Ty Lee told her how happy she is, why would she apologize now after getting no moment of humanity in her before? Azula's used to pushing Ty lee ever since they were little girls. She doesn't apologize, she laughs. And thus makes that OOC.

Azula getting humanity is fine, but it's just thrown around along with horrible jokes. I just don't buy it. Azula acquiring humanity should be caused by an event that makes Azula stop for a moment and rethink her life. Not some teenage drama fest filled with annoying stereotypes and the lamest demonstration of teenage angst.
