[PRP] What's this!?

Isithunzi was highly confused, at best. The lioness recently had been getting fatter and fatter, and to be quite honest, she was in denial that these were cubs. She didn't think she'd have them... Was it Ez? Was he the father? The questions ran, unanswered, through the female's mind.

She'd find out soon enough

Last night her belly had ached harder than ever and she left, alone, to the den where females birthed. She'd have to explain the ritual to the pride later, really. She was, however, more terrified than she'd ever been in her whole life. Isi didn't really know what was happening, and she had nobody to keep her company in this scary event. Would she live? Would cubs live? What was she going to do with them? She'd decided she'd sit in the cave for another day after they were born to answer all of these questions.

But before the female had any way to decide what she was going to do next, nature decided for her. It was time, and the grey lioness' eyes grew wide with fear as she flopped on the ground of the den.

Searing pain, and soon enough, the first was born



A brief pause, enough time for her to turn around and look at the cub, though she knew there were more coming.



The second was born, neither of which really proved that Ez was the father But he had to be, there's no other way these cubs would be in existance if not, Isi thought to herself, mind racing to help her fight off the pain.



And that last one was undeniable proof that Ez was their father. She sat back to ponder what her next move would be; the female only had 24 hours to think this through, and it was a big decision.

Mawi Mai, the first born, the oldest. She came into the world making very little nose, she let out a small mew but that was about it. She was born helpless but right away it was clear she did not intend of that for long. Even though she could not see, she lifted her little head and turned it as if she was looking around at this new strange world.

She let out another small mew and started wiggling her way to her mother. She smiled and nuzzled her a bit

She was born into the world knowing nothing but her mother and her sisters, not much of that would change. She would probly never know of her father... nor she would want to leave this place she was born into. This little baby has a future in front of her, and she plans on living it. Starting here with this birth.

The last born squirmed towards something warm, bumping her nose into it. It was a very familiar smell; her sister. She followed the direction of her and eventually found something much warmer; her mother. Jua Na-Taka wriggled her way to her mother and curled up. She wasn't hungry, not yet, but soon enough she'd be. For now, tired from the act of being born into the world, she curled up under the big lioness as much as she could, happy that the ordeal was over.
