Through tall, ominous black metal gates, there's a stone path, winding through willow and birch trees, a stone bench every yard or so. There are several small flower patches, lots of thick green grass, and bushes. The only sounds are the wind through the trees, the chattering of birds, and the deep sorrowful crow of the raven. Ocassionally this place harbors people, in groups, or people just wanting to be alone. Scattered through the vast nature, there are several headstones, some tombs, and some family crypts, each one enscribed with sayings of love, friendship, hope, and prayer. Moving on past the many graves, there are large stone gazebos and pillars, with more of a cozy feel to it, a resting place for the living within the resting place for the dead. Anyone is welcome to enter, if they are not afraid.

Hoping to get away from everything for a while, Mina found that she made her way into the Cemetary. When she noticed where she was, tears starting streaming down her face, not bothering to brush them away, she sniffled some and wandered to her Grandfather's grave. She kneeled before it and rest to head to the ground, her tears flowing into the grass

A dark figure pushed it's way through the heavy gates, the iron creaking in the most malicious of ways. The slender figure crept off of the path and into the trees, where it blended rather well.
Why am I such an idiot? a soft voice echoed as the figure continued through the trees. Tristian removed the hood of his black crushed velvet cloak and looked around, making sure a sibling hadn't followed him.
He wasn't sure why he desired to be in the cemetary, because it was, after all, the house of the dead. But it comforted him for some reason. Almost like it's where he was supposed to be. But not in there as one of the residents. In there as the light that shown through murky waters.
He peered out from behind a tree and gazed at the multitude of varying stone shapes. His eyes falling nearly instantly on a decidedly ancient celtic cross looking stone. He wanted to touch it, but didn't want to be seen. He pulled the cloak back over his head and crept out from the trees, his boots crunching the stones deeper into one another.

Trance was sitting against a willow tree, the long slender branches cradling her close as she read Vol. II of The Crow. She stared at the black and white pages as her surroundings faded and she drowned herself in the vivid storyline of the comic.

Tristian gasped loudly as his long cloak caught on a branch, pulling him back twards the trees. He wanted to flip out and scream bloody murder, but paused and sighed as he realized it was just the tree.
I don't know why I'm so jumpy... he muttered to himself as he pulled on his cloak to try to free it.

Trance snapped out of her... trance... and glanced up to where the gasping came from, right behind her. Tristian... she muttered, shaking her head. You scared the bloody hell out of me. She stood up and brushed the leaves off her dress as she walked towards him. Why are you hiding behind that cloak, anyway?

Tristian blushed deeply as he heard Trance's voice. I...Didnt' want to be seen? He offered. I...was feeling mysterious. he thought he'd try, laughing softly at the way it sounded.

She blinked a few times and chuckled softly. Like I'm going to believe that... she waved her hand, making the cloak disappear. So... if you wanted to be alone, do you want me to go back to reading and you can wander away?

Tristian blushed and shook his head, lokoing down as the cloak disappeared. No...Maybe you can help me, actually...I want to find my real father.

Oh... she paused, nodding. Why do you think he'd be here? Do you think he's dead? she asked, looking to him.

Tristian couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head and looking to his friend. No...I just feel ... like maybe this would be the easiest place to find him. If ... what I heard is true, and he is some sort of 'martian'...Then...Maybe...I don't know... he said, looking down again, as he wasn't sure what he was thinking. Maybe he'll know to find me here.

Trance couldn't help but snort a laugh and start laughing pretty hard. A ... MARTIAN? You think your father is a MARTIAN? she cackled, falling over onto the grass, laughing. Oh boy, even I know he's not some martian... she shook her head. But... I know that the one who knows most about your father is probably Trigger.

Tristian blushed deeply and looked down, feeling rather defeated and embarrassed. I..i...i don't t...think I want to find him an...anymore he choked, his throat closing as he wanted to disappear. He was never good at being the butt of jokes, and he felt that Trance thought he was an idiot now.

Trance pulled him onto the grass beside her. Come on... don't act like I just snapped your puppy's neck... It's just... your father is not a martian... he's not from Earth, but he's not a martian... she said softly, brushing his platinum blonde hair away from his face.

Tristian continued to blush deeply as he listened to Trance. He nodded softly and looked to her, his blue eyes a vibrant color as the tears glossed them.
