She walked along the Savannah in a great huff, her blue and dark gray tufted tail whipping back and forth in her irritation. How dare her one loyal minion turn her back on her. They shared the same body and she was trying to think of a way to remove her from her own body. She had to think of something so that didn't happen and to close her thoughts from Monifa'nkiruka.
The gentle sound of water met her ears, reminding her that she would need to drink before the rest of the herds came to drink at their usual time. Her blue and white paws barely moved off the ground and felt before her from habit for the water's edge. She slowly lowered her face to the cool surface, remembering to breath out so she wouldn't drown herself like she had many years ago. The liquid quenched her thirst, but not her anger.

He had been called many things in his time, Ghost, phantom, shadow, it was his nature not his name. Slipping through the shadows a silent ghost amongst the dappled light, the dark male slipped to the waters edge, his approach so silent that the blue lioness would probably be surprised to find a golden maned male with his head bent next to her lapping the cool waters.
An odd white eye fixed upon her as he drank, the pupil tiny and roving, he watched ehr as he supped from the river, letting the cool waters flow down his throat and refreshhis voice. The golden maned head lifted slowly and he fixed the blue lioness with a duel eyed stare, one eye, black as an onyx marble, the other white as snow except for the tiny black dot int he center that was the pupil. "Hello little friend." he whispers, his voice a rather eerie sounding thing, high pitched in a way, childish in another, but full of unknown intentions. "are you enjoying your drink?" he laughs a little then sitting and causing the soft soil of the embankment to slide. Perhaps he did htis purposefully to proove that he was indeed there. He had frightened many with his appearing act, it was why he gained those names, names he did not own, ghost, phantom, shadow...

If he had been hoping for her to jump that he was suddenly there, he would be sadly mistaken. She had smelled him before she had actually heard him as her other senses had increased after her loss of sight. There was a pleasant smile on her maw when she lifted her head, the watter running in trickles down her chin and neck. She took comfort in his scent as it was a jumble like her own but had a hint of something devious.
She took a few steps back from the water and moved along behind him when he sat, almost rubbing her body against his. "Water is a source of life, but there are many ways to take that life away," she said with a double meaning. Perhaps he would be able to catch it.
She took a seat on the ground next to him, but on the other side of where she had once been and looked in front of her at nothing. "A rouge, yes? You don't smell like you have lived in a pride." She turned her face towards him, staring straight through.

The dark male had not infact expected her to be surprised by his approach, he didn't infatc mean to scare anyone, it was simply his way to appear, if the other was frightened by his eerie approach that was their own fault. He never did anything wrong except approach the target he wished to converse with.
A smirk raised on his dark lips and a flash of light caught those pale fangs. "indeed life is a frivolous misadventure" His one dark onyx like orb glimmeerd and he paused to groom his maw taking away the last of the liquid that dripped from his jowels.
"Rouge, my friend is such a general word, I would say disjointed from my tribe." A quick flash of a smirk again then and he fixed the blue lioness with both odd eyes. "And you? You my little friend are not of any group either, you smell of the wild and unfrightened." He blinks slowly before speaking again. "The name is Tiyatahmey my friend, though I wiould warn you to say it right i do not take kindly to those whom cannot pronounce the name I was dubbed by my sire." he muurrs his tail giving a single flick of warning.

She continued to smile at him and rolled the name in her head like how he had said it. "Tiyatahmey, I call myself Umasikini'mzaliwa," she murmured as she dipped her head slightly. Outside she appeared calm and tranquil; inside she was slowly beginning to evolve a plan.
"Disjointed from your tribe, you say? Sounds rather painful." She did her best to appear wistful and daydreaming. "Are you as much an outcast as myself?" She pretended to appear sad and hurt from the memories of her past. If she couldn't get him to open up with sympathy, she'd try another tactic later.

"Outcast? Outcast oh no, I would still be hhome in the bosom of my family if they wern't all amongst the not living." He whispers his voice becoming for a moment rather less gleeful and childlike and more sinister. Tiyatahmey never spoke of his past, of the tribe, pride, or pack he had come from, being asked if he was an outcast sort of upset him infact, perhaps his past was the reason why he was now a little more than a few bananas short of a bunch.
Sympathy really didn't fly very well with the dark male and he didn't really notice that she sounded sad. "No no my little friend, the path I walk is the one I choose how, it is always nice to find a friend, a friend to sit and speak to." He puurrs quietly, his voice once again cheery, almost childlike he even laughed, in an eerie giggling way.

Clearly that mockery wasn't enough. It wasn't like her to use tactics. Usually she was spending her time scaring others away from her and her Monifa'nkiruka. "In other words, they have passed on? Sounds purr-fect," she said rumbling with the R loudly. The very tip of her tongue peeked out of her maw with what would seem like a satisfied cat grin.
The mere mention of friend caught her off guard. Friend? What on earth was that? "Friends? You mean those peons that follow you and you follow them at the flick of a tail. No, no. I don't have friends. I have minions, servants. Why on earth would I want something so flaky as a friend?"
