Diina raced into the main room at HQ, looking around every which way in hopes of spotting her mate. "Ashaaaaan! Are you here?" She poked her nose in the kitchen... this time hoping as much to spot some cookies as the other. "I have a supriiiise..."
Duncan trotted in a bit more sedately, though there was spring enough in his step. There seemed to be a large lumpy bundle tied to his neck, though Eruanna was far more eye-catching with her energetic jumping and other attempts to get at the tail tips her father was holding just out of reach.

Nandiya was actually the one who heard her mother and brother come into the HQ, as she usually tended to stay around there, since she hadn't found anywhere else to go. Not that she minded. She rather liked the HQ, it was busy and there were lots of kitsus around ... lots of things to learn. Hurt or sick kitsus also came here, which gave her a chance to practice her very basic first aid skills. She wished she could find someone to teach her more, but ... that had yet to happen.
Glancing up, she smiled and padded over to nuzzle at her mother. "I think Dad's in the back someplace ... want me to go and find him?"

Diina nuzzled back at Nandiya with an enthusiastic wagging of her tails. "NoI'llfindhim!" With that she darted toward the back calling for Ashaan again.
Duncan huffed quietly in mild exasperation at their mother, though he was grinning, and padded over to give his sister a nuzzle of his own. Eruanna had climbed up his tails by this point and was peeking at this strange new adult over the top of her father's head. "Dadda who's the person?"
Duncan scribbled on his notepad and held it up for her to see. Your aunt Nandiya. After that he scribbled on the paper and showed it to Nandiya. This is Eruanna. She and her sister were... a bit of a suprise. Not unwelcome. I swear she's got more energy than mom, though. I'll try to bring Ahdahnia over so you can meet her and the other little one... I meant to do it BEFORE but things happened faster than I'd have thought.
He sat down then, and Eruanna tumbled down his back with a giggle and ran over to paw at Nandiya's tails. With the kit distracted he gently took the bundle from around his neck and set it on the floor so Nandiya could see. Three eggs... We've also got more siblings...

Ashaan was actually ... involved in something he never would have thought he'd be doing. For some reason, he hadn't seen Diina in a few days, and so ... he'd decided to try baking some cookies to lure her out. And just to see if he could. So far, though ... it wasn't going too well. Paws were just really not very well made for handling bowls and spoons and so on.
So ... suffice to say that the ingredients and dough had gotten more on him than anywhere else, making fur stick up in patches and dusting it with the white of flour and sugar.
Nandiya blinked slightly at the kit, then smiled as Eruanna started playing with her tails. Flicking them around a bit to keep the small one amused, she couldn't help but be a little relieved that Eruanna hadn't picked up her father's habit of never speaking. And wasn't that an odd thought ... her brother, having kits. She smiled slightly and shook her head, looking up again just as he set the bundle down.
Eyes widened then and she stepped over a little closer, nudging at one egg with her nose. "Wow ... mom and dad have been busy too, huh?" she said, smiling and glancing up at her brother.

The smell of cookie dough hit Diina's nose and she turned to follow it. Hopefully Ashaan would be with the cookie dough... and if not... maybe whoever was there would know where he was. Yeah.
Fortunately it was Ashaan, and Diina bounded over. "Ashaaaaan~ I have a supri- you're covered in cookie?" She giggled and licked his nose, and then proceeded to try and groom the cookie dough out of his fur. Mmm. Ashaan flavored cookies. <3
Duncan grinned. Mom and Dad have been busier than I was... Ahdahnia and I only had two. He stuck his tongue out at Nandiya and then playfully pinned one of Eruanna's tails down. The kit turned around and pounced on his paw, the tried to pry it up with her own. "Dadda lemme goooooooo!"

Ashaan turned when he heard Diina coming and blinked, then looked faintly embarrassed, flushing a little (which, thankfully didn't show up well through his darker fur). "I was trying to make some for you," he murmured. "But uhm. It's not going all that great..."
Nandiya blinked at that, then laughed softly. It was weird to think of her parents still having eggs, but .. well. She guessed things like this happened. Maybe it was something to ask about if she ever found someone to train her in healing. Just how many eggs could kitsu have, and how old did they have to be before it wasn't possible anymore?

Diina licked Ashaan's nose. "I like this cookie though. It's you flavored." She stuck her tongue out and tried to lick more of the cookie dough of his fur, then froze as she remembered what she'd come over for... and why she hadn't been out for the last little while. "Oh! Ashaaaan~ we should get you washed up. I have a suprise!" She bounced gleefully toward the wash area, not looking back for Ashaan until she got there. "Come oooon~"
Duncan gave Nandiya a lopsided grin of sympathy. It was weird to think of their parents having kits again... especially so soon after he'd just had some! But life was funny that way sometimes.
He jumped slightly when Eruanna chomped on his paw in an attempt to make him let go and he shook the other one at her with a stern look in that way that said as clearly as words "Now what have I told you about doing that?" He'd gotten rather good with body language in the face of his vocal defect.
Eruanna sat up and blinked at her father innocently before grinning and wagging her two free tails in that way that said "And since when do I listen?" Her grin revealed her elongated fangs. She didn't have the bloodlust like Chaos or Carmilla did, but she'd sure gotten the vampire smile.

Ashaan leaned his head up a little to let Diina lick dough off of him, smiling kind of shyly. That felt good, and he was glad that even though he'd messed up the cookies, his mate was still happy. He blinked when she suddenly bounced away, though and stared after her for a moment. A surprise ..? What in the world...? Padding over toward her, he tilted his head, dipping a paw into a basin of water low to the ground and starting to scrub at his fur. "What kind of surprise?" he asked.
Nandiya smiled back at her brother and then glanced down when the little kit moved, biting at his paw. Then she kind of jumped a little and eyed Eruanna. "Hey, she has ... longer fangs..." she blurted out, then flushed slightly. "Uhm. Not that there's anything wrong with that but... "

Diina wiggled her bum playfully. "It's a suprise Ashaaan~ if I told you too soon it wouldn't be a suprise!" She bounced over to another basin and pulled it over so she could try to wash another spot on his coat. The sooner they got done the sooner she could show him!
Duncan grinned, somehow proud of his little girl and a bit sheepish at the same time. He took out the notepad again. Her great-grandmother, on Ahdahnia's side... is a vampire. It skipped a generation with Danny, and Eruanna doesn't need blood, or anything, but she's got quite a set of chompers.
Freed from her father's grasp when he moved to write out his message for Nandiya, said set of chompers set about playfully attacking her father's tails in retribution for her "inprisonment". Not that she got ahold of anything but fluff even if she'd really been intending to bite down.

Ashaan laughed softly at that and conceded the point. "All right, all right. I can wait," he replied, twisting his head around to watch her, since he was done with the areas that he could reach on his own.
Nandiya blinked at that and nodded. "Ooh... well, that makes sense." She had heard of the vampires, but never met one herself. She'd actually be interested to see one sometime ... maybe try to figure out why they needed blood and all of that.

Diina hurriedly scrubbed the rest of Ashaan's fur, somehow managing to clean it thoroughly in spite of her obvious rush. That done she bounced up with a "Yay!", planted a big kiss on his lips, and darted back toward the front room.
Duncan just sort of grinned and shrugged. I really need to bring her by... Ahdahnia. And Sadie. Though Eru and Sadie are worth several pawfuls when they're together!
He chuckled silently and then looked toward the door Diina had disappeared to. He held up a paw and ticked off with his toes, one, two, three... And right after he put his paw back down at four Diina bounced back through the door and proceeded to thoroughly examine the eggs and love on each of them before chirping happily. Duncan just had to roll his eyes in loving exasperation. God help me, I can even TIME her now...

Ashaan came running in right after Diina, having been chasing her. But he skidded to a half upon seeing two of their first children there, plus a kit ... and eggs. Was that... the surprise...? Ashaan made a rather un-manly like squeaking noise, staring wide-eyed.
Nandiya laughed helplessly as Duncan counted down, shaking her head slightly. "That really is a little sad," she kind of whispered to him, grinning at her father's reaction to the eggs.
