With the current wanidatsi, Skan Kanati is more reluctant to accept new members into the pride than his father, Tawa'di Kanati. While only experiencing the harrowing details of the Dark Fire pride from his father, he has taken the risk of outsiders more seriously, and has much higher standards. He is not trying to isolate the pride, but keep them safe from risks outside of their pride. New members will be accepted in small groups once in a while.
