(This is for me and Samus. So please do not post without our permission)  It was a perfect day but not for this pregnant mare because she was worrying right out of her head about the entire situation. The yellow pregnant mare walks toward the river that flows through the forest and its fresh from the mountains. So many questions and imaginary problems runs through her mind as she frowns at the thought of her mate leaving her after finding out that he is about to become a father. She brought her hoof down to the ground in anxiety as she looks in the water, not feeling the urge to drink at all. "Oh boy..." She mutters to herself as she looks around with a slight frown on her face.

Dyami was out on his usual walk by himself as he did like to take walks to muse over things on his own though sometimes he would ask his mate to come along but today he was taking the walk alone. giving a toss of his head he had come along the river so that if he wanted a drink while he was taking his walk he could easyly get one instead of searchign for a water source. to his surpise he came across a brightly colored mare along his walk. catching the frown on her face and the growing belly at that, he wondered if something was wrong because of that fact but he wouldn't ask directly. " pardon me but is there something wrong? to see a frown on someone's face on such a lovely day i couldn't help but ask."

Tic Tac Toe jumped slightly as someone approached from the behind and spoke without any warning. She spun around and looks at Dyami with a startled and worried look on her face. "Oh.. sir, its just that.. its my first time as a mother.. and I have no clues to what to do." She smiles faintly as she looks at the stallion. "How rude of me! I am Tic Tac Toe but you can call me Tic if you want to" She peeks up at him and she would have to admit that the stallion in front of her is very festive and handsome. But no stallions could compete with her love of life: Zaribe.

Dyami gave a small chuckle and gave a nob. " sorry if i scared you at all Tic Tac Toe." he tilted his head slightly then gave a smile. " ah the joys of expecting foals. i'm very sure you will be fine if you do happen to have a lovign mate to help you through it all. i myself have three grown adult kids of my own and when my mate and i where first expecting them we had not a clue of how to raise them." giving another chuckle it was a bit amusign to him to remeber the day that he had become a first time father. " i can not even tell you how worried my mate and i where but we where able to raise our kids just fine together by helping each other." suddenly he realized in his ramblings he had forgotten to give his name. " and sorry to have rambled on like tha and it seems i have forgotten to give you my name. my name is Dyami and its a pleasure to meet you."

Tic could see that Dyami is very pleasant soquili which made her feel at the ease around him. "Its ok.. I should be more attentative toward the surrounding around me. Its my fault." She chuckles as she smiles up at the older male with a friendly aura around her. "You are very right about the mate thing.. I do have a wonderful mate but I can't help but to be concerned about what he thinks of me and our future offspring." She says with a sheepish smile. "Really? Perhaps you can give me some advice on how to raise children or how to successfully bring my future offspring into the world. I need all of the help or advice I could get." Tic looks at him with an eager look on her face. "Its my pleasure, Dyami.." She smiles gently at him and bows her head slightly in respect.

"i'm sure your mate will be more than thrilled to hear his is to become a father. i know i was and even my own mate had been concered over how i would react cause at the time we where newly mated and had foals a bit earlyer than expected or planned." Dyami had a friendly smile on his face and was more than happy to give advice to Tic Tac Toe when he had experance with raising foals sicne he had raised three foals. " as to raising a set of foals the only advice i can give it to be there for them and try to teach them everything you can that they are willing to learn from you. and even when they become adults you still can be there for them to help guild them and give them what advice you can."

Tic Tac Toe immediately felt reassured by Dyami's comment about her mate and his experience as first time father. A smile spreads across her face happily as she looks at Dyami. "You bet I will try to be there for them and teach them everything I know!" Tic slants her eyes toward him curiously before she flicks her rainbow tail over her body slightly. "But... would you be there and help me if I need it? I know we just met but I would need all of the support and help I could get..." She hesitantly says.

Dyami could see he had reassured her and was glad his advice had done so. tilting his head as she eyes his couriously, his eyes went a little wide at her question . after a moment of silence his eyes grew soft and he gave a chuckle. " if you ever need a friend to lend a helping hand, i will be more than happy to be that friend Tic. but i'm sure you and your mate will do just fine raisign your foals together."

Tic smiles as she looks at Dyami. "Thank you.. I want to give my children everything they could have..friends, protection, love so they could go through the life without any frustration or hardships." She lips at her stomach lovingly before she sighs deeply. "So Dyami.. please tell me about your experience of raising your first children." She inquires as she knows that she could get some valuable advices or information from stories that is being told.

" with two loving parents you can't go wrong." Dyami mused over back when his three children had been foals and it brought a grin to his face. " well i wont lie it was hard at first as all three where wild ones and loved to run about exploring all they could. i was always runnign around chasign after them or goign and looking for them." he gave a chuckle at the memories. " if they ever had a question i was always there to answer and if they needed my help i gave it. my oldest son jazz had foals with a mare i never met who ran off and left him to raise his son and when i met my grandson he wasn't too happy with himself. cause you see he is colored of pink and gold which i think any proud stallion would be upset about." shakign his had a small grin came to his face. "he is too much like me for his own good but i tryed to help him with his dislike of his own coloring because even i use to dislike my own coat at one time. for it being so odd to the more natural colorings of most soquili i knew it felt as if i was the odd one so i knew how my grandson Rhaspody felt. he was young and i can hope he took my advice to heart since i havent been able to see him. but as i said earlyer being there to give advice, help, or just being there for them is all you can really do and hope that you raised them right as they grow into adults. i know i myself had wondered if i raised my two boys and daughter right but as i watch as adults i can see i did with a son who is wild and free as his heart, a daughter who is fun loving and another son who is also loving."

Tic smiles as she looks at Dyami as she listened to the story about him raising three foals with his mate. She chuckles at him mentioning his grandson whom is pink and gold. "I would have to say that your grandson sounds very handsome.. any stallions who can carry the pink and gold get a gold star from me." She laughs before she sighs happily. "I bet my children will be just like yours.. eager to explore all over the place and running us right into the ground.. or right into the skies when it concerns my mate." She laughs to indicate that she is joking about the last part. "We all should embrace ourselves because those colors on our coats are there for reason.. and they are our identity." Her eyes sparkles with amusement as she winks at Dyami.

" he turned out to be almost a mirror image of his own father and even though he is my grandson i have to say he turned out the handsome one liek his own father did." Dyami smiled then gave a small chuckle. " i have to agree with you there and its somethign i hope my grandson learns even if on his own." he gave a tilt of his head. " so by what you say your mate is a wind soquili i take it? if so you definatly will have some interesting times with your foals to be."
