The blue hued mare with the creme colored legs stood before the pool of water, keeping her gaze into the mass of liquid. Her sapphire amethyst eyes catching their reflection.
She seemed to be looking inside herself for the reason for something.

Really, it was more like she just was looking at herself. She wasnt admiring herself. She wasnt looking for the meaning of life.. She was just looking insid herself.

"You can't be good for much Naina. Look at you. You can't even be a whole mare. Ghost of a mother.. HA..Vampire father.. But you dont have any of the genes that made them what they were. No fangs.."
She said to the other her, baring her teeth and snapping them as if looking for the teeth that made Jen Claude himself.

"And you arent anything like your mother except for your braids."

She said, shaking her head, flinging the braids around her cheeks.

"You are just some kind of half breed.."
She said softly, continuing to stare at the water, with a sad gaze in her eyes.

Where the hell is she? Surely she hadn't wandered too far?

Zevach snorted, walked about the darkening atmosphere of the woods in search for that girl; the one who wouldn't leave his mind in peace or his heart from beating swiftly in his chest. What was it about that magenta mare which had him tracking her like a love struck puppy; eager for praise and a kind pat on the head? None the less, he was already starting to question his statement of uber tracker he'd told Amary he was capable of and began to wonder why he didn't just ask her where she usually hung out.

Maybe then he'd find her easier.

About to break into a run, the stallion stopped for a moment while his ears perked skywards at what appeared to be talking....yet no one but the same voice answered. Oh wonderful, a loonie. None the less, curiosity got the better of him as he edged towards the sound only to find a lonely looking mare staring into her own reflection; which he could find no flaw in. Why was it that females could be so worked up about physical beauty? Yet as he caught her final statement...he'd been mistaken.

"If you were half a mare...." He began, a bit offset by his abrupt nosing into her conversation with herself. "Then I doubt you'd be standing there alive."

Stopping a few feet away, his ears folded down against his head as he tossed his own braids out from his eyes. "You don't have the genes that made them, well, them....because you have the ones that made you, you. I don't know you, or them....but i'm sure if you stopped trying to make yourself fit into someone else's mould...you'd find you fit perfectly into your own."

Glancing sideways at his own reflection, he could see that she was a bit different. (Not to mention he'd heard her say so) Frowning thoughtfully, he shook his head before sending a glance at her with his ruby orbs.

"Besides, Being a halfbreed is much better than being a lame breed; in my opinion."

Naina hadn't payed any attention to the stallion that had wondered to share her reflection. She was too busy thinking deep in her mind.

But as the voice spoke, it brought her abruptly back to reality, with a thud.
She looked and saw the strange reflection in the water, and standing up quickly, and spinning, her eyes were somewhat wide.

How the hell had he made his way over here without her even knowing?
Squeezing her eyes closed she shook her head shaking the thought from her mind. She REALLY needed to stop that whole zone-out thing. Look what it was doing to her.

Opening her eyes, she glanced at the blue stallion ahead of her. Sure, it was dark, but his color didnt match that of the dark. It was just a little more blue tinted. And his mane was light against the sky.

His eyes, peircing red. And she could only make out some sort of marking on his back.

Flicking her ebony curled tail, Naina paused to listen to the stallion.

"Though that may all be very well true.. But being a half-breed, isnt being whole."

She said, wanting to rant about how her siblings had been blessed with something of their sire and their dame's heritage, except her.

"And issues arise that way.."

Flicking his tail in a bit of an irritable fashion, his brows raised as he was curious if he was dealing with a nother depressing mare. Somehow he'd managed to meet a few so far and god they were not fun. Yet something nagged at the back of his mind that her problems were not all in vain and that she seemed to have some real family issue with breed embedded in her train of thought.

"I shouldn't be asking....yet why are you so hell bent on being half and being whole? Is there really that much different between the two?"

Zevach was raised to be thankful for what he had; sure he didn't have wings, or a horn or spikes like some of the many different Soquili he'd met along the way...yet he'd be damned if he let that get him down. He could do anything he wanted to as long as he had the ambition and stride to pursue it; okay well perhaps he could never soar in the clouds but being as fit and strong as he was when he ran he often thought that he was flying from time to time.

Taking one more look at their relfections the stallion snorted and crashed his foot into the stream; destroying both of their relfections before catching eyes with the mare.

"The name is Zevach....now that the formalities are out of the way why don't you tell me the whole story. I'm usually not one for listening as you can probably already assume....but it looks like you need someone to talk to who isn't of your family or of a 'whole' breed as you put it."

Sure he might have been digging himself into a hole with this one but when Zevach was inclined to help (Being a very rare occurance) He wanted to at least get it over with or else chance feeling guilty later. And god knew how much he hated that gut eating feeling.

He was being polite.. But she saw that he really expected to be getting himself into more trouble than he was wanting for asking her these questions. She wasn't depressed. She was happy, even though she was in a bit of a rut at the moment.

She shook her head, looking back at her reflection. Being a ward of Jean and being the daughter of Nostalgia was clearly enough for her.. But she had hoped to be more like one or the other.

So long now she had wondered if her being abandoned had been because she had not recieved a horn or set of wings. But she had met Nos since then, and Nos was definately not one to think that way.

"Im sorry if I disturbed you sir. My name is Naina."
