Now was the time and here was the place. Pausing for a moment Elle double checked the return address on her letter's envelope one last time before walking again. The wind blew several strands of blonde hair in her eyes creating a thin veil that was distracting but still see through.

As she walked into the main building Elle wondered for the millionth time if this was the right decision. Sure she was old enough to be a parent and she was patient with children, as far as she knew anyways. The information she'd been given made everything seem like this was the best choice she could make. She'd lose some personal time and freedom but gain something much harder to come by.

Once inside she cleared her throat before speaking " Hello? I believe I have an appointment."

Elle raised her hand to meet his, she wondered if this handshake was meant to establish something ,was a pre-functionary task or if the man before her was just friendly. " A pleasure Mr. Dacian I assure you. I found your letter quite intriguing."

A marketing artist Elle would have placed the man in Gaia's Home and garden and not on the cover of Magical men. But the half angel was no one to talk about looks and judging people by them.

" Now that I'm here , what happens next? the letter was a bit vaughe on the finer details."

Elle smiled at this, a chance to see the child before it was born was something that appealed to the young woman. " Both of those sound like perfectly good ideas. I'm certain the compound is just as unique as what you do here."

Elle followed behind Dacian as a respectable pace, she felt a bit like a little kid being lead around the school the first time.

Elle pondered Dacian's question for a moment, she'd been given a bit of information already and that has satisfied most of her curiosity but there were still a few things she wanted to know. " What exactly do we know about the child err energy I would be caring for?"

While not the most important thing it was something Elle wanted to know, especially if it could help her prepare for this experience a bit more.

Elle wondered how easy it was to get lost down in the labs, as far as she could tell theres wasn't much to distinguish one area from another. Must have been monotonous for the people working there but if anyone dared break into the lab they'd be hard pressed to find anything and then get out again unless they had the layout memorized.

" Thank you" She said softly as she was allowed into the room. Dacian was quite polite and Elle found it rather refreshing.

Ignoring everything else in the room Elle's eyes quickly centered in on the hovering sphere. It was odd looking to say the least. Elle was sure she recognized the markings on it but at the moment she couldn't quite place them. Either way she had a feeling that if the orb was very good representation of her future child then the kid would be rather unique looking.

To be honest Elle was a bit stunned, while everything beforehand had confirmed that this was all happening, what she saw now somehow made it more true. " I.. um that's amazing" Really the young woman had no words for this.

" That has troublemaker written all over it" Elle commented in an amused tone. " There's so much going on there that I can't possibly imagine a laid back quiet child." Elle wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing.

Turning she looked at Dacian curiously. " Can I touch it, or does that hinder the um birthing process?" Elle wanted to be closer, to really feel this new life, she could wait if she had to though.

Elle nodded , her golden curls bouncing a bit as she did so. " I'll be careful." The young woman swallowed nervously and walked foreward. Slowly and steadily she reached out a hand to the floating orb and gently placed her hand on it.

The feeling it gave her was near indescribable. It almost seemed to vibrate with life through her her skin. Was this how proper mother's felt she wondered, when they touched their bellies. Looking over her should Elle smiled gratefully at Dacian " Thank you."

Stepping away from her future child Elle took a moment to compose herself and then nodded. " That's probably a good idea" it'd be important for her to have an idea of where she'd be living, what sort of working space she'd have and to know what sort of enviroment she'd be in when raising a child.
