I think Azula's isent that...bad...[cringes waiting for attachers]
ok listen for just a moment, sure she is evil, and probably one of the better bad guys I've seen (right up there with the guy from firefly) and sure she's found away to pin the avatar coming back on Zuko when it happens, but still! She gave him a friendly warning to her bother, not using it as leverage, not threating to tell farther, just a warning, showing worry, Concern even(!) for her bother. Of course this could just her making sue she doesn't lose her scape goat in case something happens...but still!.
[sigh]Ok I don't know why, but I found myself likening her more and more lately, I don't know if its because I see her as one of the best examples of a Evil woman...>_> And I don't know...hey! Don't judge me! you don't know me! I just like them strong.... xp xp xp

I think she's a brilliant villain. She is so deliciously evil. I don't think, in a moral sense, she's not a bad character. However, from a purely fan point of view, I LOVE her. She is SO clever and SO ruthless, you can't help but adore her.
And as far as 'warning him', it wasn't a warning so much as a way to make sure that he won't try to cross her. If he thought the Avatar was dead, he'd be grateful for the help, and if he thought the Avatar was alive, he'd be too twitchy and nervous about THAT to even think about plotting against her. It's also insurance that, like you said, she doesn't lose her scapegoat in the case that Aang is alive.
I don't think she's showing genuine concern to Zuko. I think she's trying to make him believe it's genuine concern so he'll trust/not be wary of her.

I don't know... i still want to think she's not as bad as she surpost to seem. I mean she seems to be very loyle to the fire nation and maybe once she see's the threats to it is over she'll be a better person? sweatdrop I mean...[sigh]not something I'm going to be able to convey over the net, and most likely I'm wrong but hey I just wanted to put it out there.
Also, did you notice that look Mai gave her once she was out of site of Azula? If Zuko betrays do you think she'd go with him? And if she did do you think theyd join the Gaang AND!(damn man thats alot of ands) do you think there's be friction between Mai and Katara over Zuko?

Honestly? I don't want her to be a better person. Are you aware how hard it is to find somebody so deliciously wicked now a day... much less in a "kids" show?
I remember when Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, and Iroh were fighting against her. I doubt anybody else could have hold their toes the way Azula did. Oh, or when she attacked Aang when he was in the Avatar state. I just get a fangasm thinking about it.
I don't mind her caring about someone, but just one. I don't want her in the side of good.

Even if they do join up with the Gaang, the idea of Zutara making it outside of fan fiction died a horrible death at the end of the 2nd season finale. The only way Katara wants to get close to Zuko at this point is so she can give him hard punch in the testicles. 'Nuff said.

Plus the fact Zuko sent an assasin that blows stuff with his mind to go kill the avtar. Somehow that doesn't sound like a way to get to a girl's heart. Honestly I think the creators are using the Zutarians to create much euphoria over the series. They created ambiguety as soon as they saw the oportunity for it.
