so...i was reading a book and it talked about W.O.W (world of warcraft) and it was so populer and addicting. People made fun of the W.O.W addiction. Now halo3 is out, and the addiction is just as strong. Do you think people will be over w/ W.O.W now that Halo3 is out? Or do you think that W.O.W is just as good and is equal to halo3? why or why not

I have to say that Halo is just a fad but with new maps it keeps it fresh but with W.O.W there are other things like guilds,shops, It's an rpg halo isn't.
I like halo 3 so it's got my vote.

Personally, My gaming taste revolve around Shooters in every persona. I mean I will occasionally play a RPG, but WoW just isn't my style.I'm a huge fan of Elder Scrolls and Fable. Halo is a hard hitter and with it's Always expanding fan base an imaginative players there are always different Playing styles. Everyday there is a new kind of match. Now that Bungee has nothing more to the Series (May change) There is alway room for them to improve on Halo 3. New level packs, Weapon expansions. The thing to remember though is the Vastness of gamers out there have their individual gaming genre. So I'd say that they're bother equally popular. Some people will see Halo as a passing trend. However, my memories will always go back to the first time I picked up an XBox controller and Lost my whole perception while trying not to get anally raped by a flood combat form on legendary or trying not to take a rocket to the torso.
Halo does have it's perks and I'm sure WoW does to. WoW grants the player more in game connection to other players, and an ability to put yourself 100% into your character. Like I said before I'm not familiar with WoW, so I really can't knock it or boast it.
Halo is just a Big step in a different Genre, and a Huge Reason why Microsoft got so big in the console based gaming area. Just like how Doom influenced First person Shoots, Just like Wolfenstien was the birth of the Genre. Sorry I may be getting off subject, but I've run out of things to say.

w.o.w and halo 3 are 2 very different types of games,so its hard to compare.i love halo3 more although more people will stay with w.o.w a.k.a (world or warcrack)

I've been following the halo series since halo 1, and the Warcraft series since Warcraft III. I have every expansion, map pack etc. They are both excellent games XD Both deserve a vote from me, but...I gave my vote to WoW, as it has less votes than halo, and it deserves a chance.
