i love these guys, except for that little bit they did with hair metal...
i love both the hellhammer days and the stuff they did as celtic frost, the stuff that falls under the first wave of black metal, their thrash stuff...and their new, doomier approach to metal.
who else likes em?
fave songs?
personally i like "triumph of death" from Hellhammer's Apocalyptic Raids,
"procreation of the wicked" from Morbid Tales, "dawn of meggido" from To Mega Therion, "os abysmi vel daath" and "synagoga satanae" from Monotheist...

I haven't listened to them in quite a while.
Monotheist seems to have quite a bit of sludge influence.

I like all of it. Hellhammer is great as well. I like the early, thrashy, under-produced stuff, but I also like the doom stuff. I have not listened to the hair metal stuff, I may have to look into it, for "Enlightenment" reasons.

Warrior of Metal I like all of it. Hellhammer is great as well. I like the early, thrashy, under-produced stuff, but I also like the doom stuff. I have not listened to the hair metal stuff, I may have to look into it, for "Enlightenment" reasons. no. don't look into it. cold lake was a terrible album.
