FORTRESS OF STONE
A heart in darkness Never feeling light Shrouded and heavy Locked up so tight
A fortress of stone Surrounding it still An inner chamber With books to fill
Each page a life Of loved ones past Each pain and joy Is plainly cast
These memories held Forever in stone Never forgetting The lives I have knowncopyright 2003 to 2007 http://www.lulu.com/simplemusings

This poem doesn't have anything to do with Wicca, but it was how I was feeling at the time. Cheater How can you doubt me I've been faithful all this time
How can you doubt me Have you been lying?
When you say that you love me? When you say that we're fine?
Through the long year of seperation, through all that time cryin Through the birth of your son through the really hard times
I've loved you and hated you yet this whole time I've been true to you
Why shouldn't I feel bad when you yell, You're a cheat?
Through all the drama I've been true though all the pain I've been true
So you know what? Screw You!

Aerowyn
Born in the deep Where great Vulcan sleeps Blood spilled in the lake, And fire in its wake Mortals bow low Hear Aerowyn’s cry.
Forged from pure gold And scarlet, true and bold Blazing with ethereal glory Yet the heart’s grip ice cold Stand transfixed, Ever in a daze Doom to the unwary Caught in his emerald gaze.
Ne’er a tale to be told For those who return Ne’er a bard, a song or a word For one it is, ever sure None awake from ecstasy Not from Ae-owyn’s fold.

Note- please don't steal this and say its your own, I've had problems with people claiming works of mine. A fallen angel swept from grace destined to live on earth with this as her dying place. She finds a person a friend in the crowd someone who listens but can also be loud Feelings like belonging with this one special one Their love for each other as bright as the sun Their love is strong but can't save her from her fate when time runs out it'll be too late Soon from this world in death she will fall Losing him will be like losing it all When the time comes this she can tell for his greatness, he will go to heaven and she the fiery pits of hell. EDIT- Copyrighted to KirstenB. Thats me biggrin (This is for the Imbolc puzzle. Please don't remove).

Silent Battle by Amy Kareena
Softly running everafter Never seeing what is there Past behind you, Baggage Heavy No one ever finds you here
Softly moving in the dark No words are ever said Moving slowly, motion limited Wondering what lies ahead
Softly drowning in wetness Dark thick pools of water Moving in around you Binding, tightening, slaughter
Softly crying in the void Wandering aimless Looking around for another Who could save us
Softly lieing on the bed Alone, for yet another night Reaching out to no one For all have taken flight
Softly whispering in ones mind Thoughts flowing to and fro Slithering, hiding in the dark I cannot tell you though
Deep in the recesses of ones mind places deep, dark and tight are dark spots everlasting that will never reach the light. Disclaimer: Please do not steal my work- you may display it publicly as long as you credit me as the author. Thank you.

A Puppets Stage
I saw him walking on the wall, The brick was chipped with age. As he walked I thought he’d fall, But no it was his stage.
He so did spin as light as air, His eyes where the stars. His hair I thought a lovers pair, My sight caught slowing cars.
He then so bent lithe then still, His hand held out for mine. I took it and so the air did chill, He found my heart so fine.
Each foot on edge a sweeter note, My bag lay far behind. I found the chill did not dote, But was gone id be soon to find.
And so we danced our thoughts did reel, The silence our applause. Soon the bell would ring on till, We would find our hearts did pause.
Not a beat to give a word, Only quiet as we fall down. A crack our final word so slurred, We as lovers lay on the ground.
But no worse fate shall come to us, We have found our hearts content. And so we lay among the muss, We puppets our souls did once rent.

Her I can't help but love you, But you can't love me back, What about the ways you clutched my hand, On that cold, cloudy day? The way you smile at me when I tell you your beautiful? But, alas, We can not be, Or so you swear, I can't help loving you, But you can't love me back

Okay, here's my two favorite poems I've written (sorry if they're a bit morbid... sweatdrop ) Everyday's Pain
All's quiet 'til Daddy comes home. He's screaming'n'yelling - Oh no - did I do something wrong? He grabs me by the hair, Throws me to the floor... Picks me up - slams me 'gainst the door. He'd had a bad day at wor. It's all my fault - He throws me at the wall. I can't get up; body's too sore. Neer hurt this bad before.
No, Daddy, Please stop! He strips me down, unzips his pants.. I cry - I hate this part.
Tell Daddy you love him (Daddy I love you) And the black cloud swallows me....
Lying on the floor, bloody and bruised. Another one of Daddy's games - I always lose. I ache - can hardly move. Gotta give up; can't take much more. So, I crawl slowly - it hurts - to the kitchen. I know what I gotta do. I take a knife And by my own hands - to escape the torture - I take my own life.
(okay, this one isn't particularly good, but since most of my favorites consist of suicide, I'll just post one favorite and poem adequate one, so you can read a non-suicide (but still morbid) poem: Isolation
Isolation- Crashing waves. Can't stand the loneliness. Dead ends: people crying...dying. Being punished for who I am. For not giving a damn. Hunger gnawing at my heart; Starved for love and needing attention. When I die, will the church bells toll? When I die will you pray for my soul A chilling cold that makes me shiver Never to fine peace. Do I not have my own place in the world If no one shall pass me flowers upon m tomb...? Scared of love... Scared of loss... The scared little girl is simply lost.[EDIT] If they're too......weird, I can post different ones...I just have a tendency to write poems that freak others out. Sorry. Oh, and these are MY poems. You steal them and I will actively pursue you online, find out who you are, and take you to court - don't think I won't. Dad may be stupid, but he knows some pretty high people and most are REALLY successful lawyers. So don't mess with me.

Toxic Medicine
Paper wings and shattered glass souls From heart filled to filled with hate Starry night skies to dawns where you cant awake Hospital beds crammed all with the same disease Patient reacting to ones who no longer can move These chemicals keep me under control, under your control Sympathy has no understanding here we all wear the same clothes White, paper, cotton with tags on our cold toes Unable to move from your lethal injection My heart rate monitor holds a still line So pull off these wires, you got what you wanted We mean nothing, oh yet we mean everything By: Kim Heroin
