You must read these and comply to them. First there has been some bitter feelings between the Pro-Life guild and the Pro-Choice guild. I and many others agree with me that a guild such as the two above are for sharing ideas, chatting and having fun. Not waging a full fledged debate or creating personal attacks. Since it has become evident that both sides are at fault I made a solution......
The Abortion Debate Guild
Screw the trolls and flammers of the ED. Do you want to tackle a rare abortion related topic? Do you want to have a private debate? Come here.
Fairness
To ensure no one is silenced and to ensure that no one cries wolf I will would like to have two Pro-Life guild members and two Pro-Choice guild members. Kp606 and Veled get first dibs if they want. because I trust them both. These moderators will be fair and will follow the rules. They have the power to ban you, but lets not make that an issue. Moderators have final say!!! Listen to them.
Rules
arrow No repeats, please is it that hard you are all mature.
arrow Grammer, spelling and grammer are needed to debate keep that in mind.
arrow Pictues, in this guild pictures are allowed. May Pro-Lifers like to use them to prove points. Here are cetain guideline. You may not post the picture it must be linked and it must not cause me to throw up or it will be deleted. Choose your pictures wisley.
arrow Personal Attacks, they will not be tolerated. Just don't fo it.
arrow Name Calling, just be smart.
arrow No witty picture posting. As in unison with ED, this will be considered spamming. If you post a picture, please make it relevant.
Admission Requirements
1. Must be a member of either Pro-Life or Pro-Choice Guilds. (This can be bypassed PM a mod with issues)
2. Must have posted in the ED.
3. Must be a good person.
4. NO I will not allow your mule accounts.
Topic Making
Please make sure one does not already appear on the front page. Please make a purpose to it and please don't flame people responding.
Any questions ask here.....

I was wondering if you can explain how pictutures contribute to an argument in any other way than appealing to pity (which, as I am sure you know, is a logical fallacy).

Graphs, charts, anything that could help prove your specific argument. (Im hoping we're all adults here, and we all know what should and should not be used... This is a debate guild, not ED. So people should be mature enough not to post "oh, pity this"/irrelavant pictures... That goes for both sides of the issue.)

For personal attacks not being allowed... Is this only when It's targeted at specific people, or is it also when it's used to clump a whole group of people together. "Those lifers are zealots, infringing on my rights." or "Those choicers are murderers, plain and simple."
