Her arm in a firm grasp that was too tight almost to the point of pain, Miho was dragged along through the mall by her mother. After hearing that Miho's father was hosting another company party her mother had insisted that Miho get a new dress for it and had dragged her out of the house to the most well known and expensive mall around, completely ignoring Miho's protests.
Now Miho was being dragged around to every dress shop in the mall and shoved into any and every dress her mother could find to have her try on. Of course Miho knew better than to protest as she would pay for any trouble or scenes she cause when they got home. So it was much better to simply keep her mouth shut, since there was no hope of anyone saving her from this anyhow.

Humming to herself, the pink-clad girl rummaged through the dresses. She took the time to pull each one out, observe it, and either hold it out to her bodyguard (who wore a pained expression on his face), or place it back on the rack. Mitsuko had come as a spur of the moment decison. She didn't -need- a new dress, but with Halloween coming up, she could have to make a costume. Though she had originally intended to go as a witch, as Minori had suggested before, her maids had been against the idea of her going as something so 'dark and evil'.
Bah.
These change in plans were the maind reason behind her trip to the mall. She had come to gather ideas, and couldn't pass down the chance to take a look around in almost every shop she and her bodyguard passed. So far, no new costume ideas struck her.
Her gaze was pulled away from the dresses as she noticed movement. Looking over the rack of dresses, her eyes lit up as she noticed a familar face. DARN. What was her name?! Mi...Mi...Ah!
"Miho-chan!"

Great. Now after seeing some manikin in a cute Halloween costume her mother had gotten the idea in her head that Miho would need a costume for some party before Halloween and so now was not only shoving dresses into her arms before she went into the dressing rooms but Halloween costumes as well. Currently her arms overflowed with complex, lacy dresses. Her mother had something about a fairy queen... or was it princess? Miho hadn't really been listening.
A slightly familiar voice calling her name made her turn her head in that direction. Great, just what she needed, someone from school seeing her humiliation. Seeing her mother watching out of the corner of her eye she sighed softly and gave a polite bow (as best she could with her arms full of dresses).
"It's nice to see you again.. um" She paused a moment. Drat it. She couldn't remember the girl's name at all. "I do apologize, your name seems to escape me at the moment. What was it again?"

Behind her, Mitsuko's guard sighed as he heard the girl address somehow. Turning, he peered at Miho over the stack of dresses he carried. Ah, a friend from Ouran, he presumed? Nodding politely to the other girl, he glanced at the stack of dresses she held. "Would you like help with those, miss?" Might as well, right? He was already holding Mitsuko's pile.
Mitsuko beamed at her guard's politeness, before turning to smile at Miho. Seeing the girl's mother behind her, and realizing what may have been the reason for the other girl's politeness, the bronze-haired girl offered Miho a bow in response. "Takara, Mitsuko." She chirped, before turning towards her mother, and offering her a polite bow as well.
"Good day, madam." Hey, she could be polite and not-hyper when she wanted to be! Though it was hard. Very hard.
Just as Mitsuko had been beaming at her guard, her guard was now beaming at her. It was hard, he was sure, for the girl to resist the urge to greet people as she usually did - with tackles and hugs.

Miho blinked at the guard addressing her and pasted on a smile. "That's alright, I think I've got it." If her mother had deemed so then the guard that was following them around would be caring her dresses, but instead her mother had insisted that she carry them.
For a tense moment after Mitsuko noticed her mother Miho wondered just how the girl would greet her mother, remembering to hyper and over friendly greeting that she herself had received upon their first meeting. Miho let out a sigh of relief as the girl only politely greeted her mother.
Miho's mother for her part smiled back at the girl in front of her. Though her smile didn't really reach her eyes. "It's nice to meet you as well Takara-san" She studied the girl for a moment thoughtfully "Your family are doctors. Correct?"
Miho sighed softly and prepared to be pushed into the background as she always was whenever her mother caught sight of someone who was rich or was from a well known family

Mitsuko's guard nodded at Miho, while Mitsuko offered a polite smile towards the other girl's mother, resisting the urge to allow her smile to spread into her usually, cheerful grin. It was hard. Very, very hard.
"You are correct, Madam. Both of my parents are indeed doctors," She inclined her head, "I am to follow in their footsteps, after graduating from Ouran." She paused, to glance at Miho, the smiling flickering into a grin for a split second.
"Shopping for dresses and Halloween outfits, Miho-chan?" She asked, peering at the stack of clothes the black-haired girl held, "If you have the time, perhaps you can keep me company around the mall as I search for a Halloween costume for myself? After all, shopping is far more pleasant when I have company." Hesistating, she quickly turned back to Miho's mother, clasping her fingers together in front of herself. "If you wouldn't mind your daughter accompanying me that is, madam."

Miho's mother watched the girl with some confusion. Why would a girl like this become friends with her daughter? This girl was polite and friendly, and everything her daughter was not. "Well, isn't that nice. I'm afraid my own daughter has no such ambitions."
It was all Miho could do not to groan and flee as her mother put on her 'my daughter is such a bother and aren't I a saint for putting up with her?' act. The urge to flee grew even stronger as Mitsuko made the offer of dragging Miho along in her shopping. Though... Miho eyed her mother, it was the lesser of two evils and her mother was even looking like she might allow it. "I'd like that Takara-san." She turned to her mother, pasting her best fake smile on. "That is if it's alright with you mother?"
Miho's mother completely ignored her own daughter instead keeping her attention of Mitsuko. "I'm sure that she'd be delighted Takara-san, that is if it wont e too much trouble for you."

Smiling cheerfully, the girl shook her head. "People can surprise you, madam. Miho-chan has a lot of potential, and is clever - who's to say that she won't grow up surpassing expectations?" She emitted a soft, lady-like giggle (while mentally cringing). "I for one don't see like I'd do well in following my mother and father's footsteps, however that's what I'm pursuing to do."
She beamed at Miho. "I'd like that very much!" Then, flashing yet another smile at Miho's mother, she lowered herself in another bow. "It's not any trouble at all. I'd love to have Miho-chan accompany around the mall - she's very easy to talk to." Not exactly the truth, as Mitsuko hadn't spoken to Miho all that much before, but Mitsuko did like the other girl, and wanted her mother to know that.
"Shall we then, Miho-chan?"

An incredulous look came over Miho's mother's face as she listened to the girl in front of her describe her daughter. The girl couldn't be describing the same person she knew, however the girl seemed very stubborn and she didn't want to offend anyone from the Takara family. "Well, I suppose so."
A sigh of relief escaped Miho as her mother didn't insist on making a fuss over her lack of talent or drive. To her surprise she had to fight back a laugh as she listened to Mitsuko describe her to her mother. Now it really did sound like Mitsuko was describing a completely different person.
"Yes." Miho turned to bow politely to her mother. "I'll be leaving then Mother"

Taking hold of the side of her dress, Mitsuko curtsied to Miho and her mother, wobbling a little. She never was graceful on her feet - she was sure Miho would remember the first time they met, when she had slammed headfirst into a tree - and it was hard on the girl to resist her natural clumsiness. Somehow though, her curtsy was flawless aside from the slight wobbling. "Thank you for allowing you daughter to come with me, madam, and thank you Miho-chan for agreeing." She flashed them a smile, before reaching forward to take the other's girl's wrist.
"Good day to you, madam." The green-eyed girl nodded, before leading Miho towards the entrance of the store. Behind her, her guard followed, dresses still piled in his arms.
"And your dresses, Miss Mitsuko?"
She turned to glance from her dresses, to Miho, before shaking her head. "Sorry, but could you put them away? There are other dress stores I can visit later on." This earned a sigh from her guard, but he nodded, understanding her reasoning. "The two of you can go on ahead, then," He said, nodding towards the entrance, "I'll join you in a moment."

Left feeling rather bemused by the quick exit of the Takara girl with her daughter, Miho's mother stared after them. "...Not a problem" She blinked a couple of times before turning back to the dresses, if she wasn't getting something for her daughter she might as well find something for herself.
One second Miho was standing next to her mother and the next Mitsuko had a hold of her wrist and was dragging her through the store, back towards the entrance.
"Um... Takara-san?" She tugged a bit attempting to slow their pace a bit as she had the feeling that if Mitsuko suddenly stopped she wouldn't be able to and she would go flying.
"Do you have somewhere in particular that you're going?"

"Mitsuko." The girl corrected automatically, when Miho addressed her. She slowed her pace when she felt the light tug, but after a moment, halted altogether. "...Somewhere in particular?"
Furrowing her brows, Mitsuko let go of Miho's wrist and turned around to face the other girl, scratching her head thoughtfully. "Well..." She hesitated as she tried to think things through. Finally, grinning, she shook her head. "Nope. No idea. I just thought that we should get out of there and let your mother shop in peace. Where do you want to go though?"
Peering over her shoulder, she scanned the various stores - most decorated with Halloween decorations - before turning back to look at Miho, with a grin. "Well?"
Having put all the dresses away, Mitsuko's guard returned, raising a brow as he glanced from one girl, to the other. "So, Miss Mitsuko, Miss..." He paused, frowning as he realized he somehow hadn't caught Miho's name. Clearing his throat awkwardly, he continued, "Where to now?"

"What?" Miho blinked in confusion as the girl just said her own name for no apparent reason. She was really starting to question this girl's sanity. "What about yourself?
Another blink of confusion. The girl had, had no idea where she was going? Yes, Miho's mind was now made up, this girl was officially crazy. Not necessarily a completely bad thing as most people weren’t that interesting anyway. At least a crazy person would keep her entertained.
Realizing that she’d just been asked a question Miho paused a moment to think. “I suppose I should find a costume somewhere as I’m almost guaranteed not to like whatever my mother gets it in her head to pick out for me. Because without me there she’ll just pick out things that I’d never wear in a thousand years.”
Since she hadn’t really been paying attention when she came through this part of the mall before Miho glanced around to take stock of her surroundings. Spotting a slightly spooky store whose costumes tended more toward dark colors and didn’t seem to have outrageous amounts of frills on them she gestured toward it. “There, perhaps?”
Miho suppressed a giggle as the guard obviously couldn’t remember her name. “It’s Tamura Miho”

Giggling, Mitsuko shook her head quickly. "No no, I mean that you can just call me Mitsuko. Takara-san is what people call my parents." She made a face. Being addressed the same way as her parents made her feel old.
"So," She continued, "I've been calling you Miho-chan all the time, but would you rather I call you something else? Tamura-san? Tamura-chan? Miss Miho?" She could have gone off and listed off more names, if not for the heavy sigh that her guard emitted. Instead, Mitsuko clamped her mouth shut with a silly smile on her face as she awaited an answer.
Cocking her head to the side as Miho spoke, the girl followed her gesture towards the dark, creepy shop. Instantly, her eyes lit up. "Okay! Looks like fun! I have to buy a Halloween costume too anyways." She moved, so that she was behind Miho, and put her hands on the other girl's shoulders, gently pushing her towards the store. "Yay! Lets go!"
"Tamura-san, then?" The guard nodded, before flinching as he noticed the shop the two girls were headed for. Miho wasn't the only one to question Mitsuko's sanity - her own staff did too. Right now, the guard couldn't help but wonder how Mitsuko could love such a dark and frightening holiday like Halloween, when she was usually so...bright and pink.

"Um" Miho blinked at the girl in front of her in confusion "But, that would be impolite to you." It was one of the things that had been drilled into her practically since birth. One wasn't to call people by their first name unless one had known them for a long time or they were a close family friend.
One of Miho's eyebrows rose as she listened to the girl start to list all of the possible things that she could call Miho. Miho sighed in relief as the guard managed to stop the girls rambling. She had a feeling Mitsuko could have gone on for hours. "Um..." She wasn't sure how to answer that.. if Mistuko was going to insist on being called by her first name then it wouldn't be polite for her to have Mitsuko call her by her last name.
Once again Miho found herself propelled in a direction that she hadn't necessarily been planning on heading in at that moment. She felt a little a bit like some form of transportation like this... only she wasn't actually pulling anything, she was being pushed instead. ...Maybe if she could distract the girl she'd stop pushing. "Do you have a costume in mind?"
