Randomizing battlefield...ICE FIELD!
The temperature of the stadium suddenly dropped several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifted for the upcoming battle. The floor was made of extremely slick ice, which would make manuverablity, even simply standing, difficult. Crystal-like pillars reached skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field.

The silent spy tossed out his Pokeball, lurking in the shadows.
Sea Maiden emerged from her Pokeball and focusd energy to shoot an Aurora Beam from her horn out into the distance, hoping to hit her opponent.

Lil had tossed her pokeball out before the really speedy attack was sent.
Enya didn't have enough time to react, this was not her field type. The ice did not help her balance. She was a really easy target for the seel, so the attack hit her head on. It caused her to almost lose balance.
Not having the best grip, the attack also made her slide backwards.
"No Enya! Use one of those ice spires and kick off returning a Stomp attack!"
Nodding understandingly she pushed one hind leg off of the spire, and used the speed burst to help some-what with her balance, She tried the stomp attack.

The Sea Maiden yelped. The powerful hoof of the Ponyta slammed against her body. She wiggled her body to escape the pressure of the hoof and slid a bit away on the ice. Facing her fiery opponent, she began to charge at her with her horn out, using her Headbutt attack.

The ponyta was knocked off her balance as the headbutt connected. She spiralled off and was sprawled out on the ice.
"Stand up and Return it with a Ember attack!" Lil cried.
Without waiting to stand up the Ponyta opened its mouth and sent a Ember attack towards the water type. Not a smart elemental choice...
She wobbled up to her feet soon after.

The fiery attack burned the Sea Maiden's body. She quickly rolled on the ground a few times to recover, then turned to her opponent angrily.
She launched a beam of ice (Ice Beam) at the Ponyta. That should cool her off.

..owch, that stung. Hitting her in the side she felt the damage like needles throughout her body. Weak on her knee's she slumped slightly. Making her flames burn brighter then before she quickly returned her body to normal temperatures and regained her posture.
With the still heightened flames and even more firey eyes, Enya lunged forward and launched a Firespin attack at her opponent.

The Sea Maiden swung her body away from the spinning fiery attack, allowing her body to dodge the burn. The battle seemed to fall into her odds. Hopefully they would stay that way.
The Sea Maiden launched yet another Aurora Beam at the Ponyta.

(lmao wow we both fail XDDD )
Somehow managing to slip on the ice at just the right time, she dodged the beam and landed on her 'knees'. Turning her head she took advantage of her still heightened flames and sent a Fireblast.

The inferno struck Sea Maiden by surprise. The flames blasted through her body, a hotter feeling than she had ever felt before. She didn't know how to react. Her instincts told her to launch an Ice Beam at the Ponyta as a strike back.

Still exhausted from the fireblast, the Ice beam hit her head on. She winced recognizing the familiar ice-needle-pain.
Tossing her head about in a fit the flames on her back where still too low to remove the ice, one of her legs had ice on it. Whinnying she turned around and tried to hit with another stomp.

Sea Maiden dodged the stomping hoof of the Ponyta and started to move as far away as she could and as fast as she could. When she found herself at a comfortable distance and a fast speed, she spun her body around and stopped making effort to move. This action caused her body to spin in circles slowly while sliding away from her target on the ice.
When she was spinning and facing the Ponyta, she blasted an Aurora Beam at the opponent Pokemon.
