Height: 5'4"
Weight: 113 lbs
Build: Slim
Hair: Knee length, wavy black hair kept up in a high ponytail. Bits of it fall down around her face.
Eyes: light brown
Clothing/Accessories:
Shirt: a faded, dark purple tank that's rather stressed from use. It's her favorite, and it's obvious she wears it a lot.
Pants: Pliable black leather pants that look a little too long. If Vera were to go bare foot, they would easily cover her toes.
Shoes: Set of steel toed, lace up boots. Black leather, although whether or not it's real has always been a little questionable. Thick soled.
Accessories:
- Black leather jacket. Worn at the elbows and around the waist from age.
- Belt. Black and silver. Nothing too special.
- Lip piercing, one black ring in the left side.
- Nose piercing, black stud in the left nostril.
- Brow piercing, black (are we seeing a pattern here?) barbel past the arch of her left brow.

Personality: Vera is a no nonsense type of person. She's blunt beyond normal expectations and has a tendency to run people down with her opinions. She can be bossy as all get out, but chafes horribly whenever some one else tells her what to do. She walks around like she's got a beef with the world, and under most circumstances she does, but she's not really one to stew it her own juices. If she has a problem with someone/thing, they'll be the first to know.

History: Vera hails from Goldenrod, one of the largest cities on the Johto Gym Circuit. When she was young, this was a fact she was most proud of. However, as the years slid by she began to understand that sometimes the trainers who came through town were, well... Not always great people. In fact, she found her self striding up to a group of them on more than one occasion to tell blankly request that they 'shut up and stop blocking the Game Corner/Underground/Train Station/Bike Shop, thank you very much'.

This earned her a bit of a reputation, unfortunately. It wasn't even the best of reputations. She shrugged it off passingly. Eventually she became more interested in the bike shop and applied for a job. Sadly, her reputation preceded her and she was denied due to rumors and her less than reputable appearance. Instead she joined up with a 'bike gang', although they were really just a pack of bored twenty somethings with bikes and one or two pokemon to share amongst themselves, and started to travel across Johto.

On one particularly long haul the 'gang' acquired a set of tickets to Hoenn. Needless to say, Vera was all about hopping aboard and seeing new things. They made port in Slateport and split up for a little sight seeing. Vera made her way towards the lighthouse where she met a talkative, friendly woman who spoke of an island tour that would be starting in a few minutes. 'Only a few more seats on the boat!' she had exclaimed. With a shrug Vera followed the woman to one of the smaller docks where a few others stood around looking uninterested. The woman motioned to the little boat, well little when compared to the liner Vera had arrived on, and everyone climbed aboard. Vera watched quietly as the coastline melted away on the horizon.

"So what's the name of this island?" She asked, turning to look at the tour guide.

"Home." The woman replied through her friendly grin, which suddenly seemed much less welcoming and more feral. Then the cabin went dark.
