I also enjoyed this story--I love how the princesses become something other than what they started, with the fearless forced to become helpless, and the fearful becoming the hero. I wasn't so sure I was happy with Meryl's fate at the end, however. White text for spoiler: Turning her into a fairy, rather than dying, seemed like a bit of a cop-out to me.

I found this book to be one of my most favorites of my collection. I can most relate to Princess Addie, she kinda more like me than Meryl is. I loved the part when Addie was adventuring and then the part where she got taken by the dragon, yes, that part was good. It was amazing how well she handled the visit with the dragon, Vollys.

I've read it. I never really liked it all that much, but its fairly interesting. A Nice light read if you're looking for a bit of fantasy.
