Journal belongs to Shikai-Chan, only post on owner's permission
A set of quils lay scattered around the book with a white cover, golden letters spelling out Journal. The letters gleam in the soft light the table lamp gives, and beside the book there is a bottle of ink.

"Owner"
Name: Shikai Age: 17 Race: Unknown Gender: Female
Generally: Shikai is generally a shy but curious teen. She tends to get herself into more trouble than she can handle because of her curiosity and lack of self-control. However, her compassion and ignorance somehow makes everything work out without any large difficulties. She generally has a calm but vibrant personality that rubs off on other people mostly when she's overly excited or amused. Although she is 17, she acts and looks a few years younger. But it just makes things a little more interesting. =]
Oops Factor: One thing to remember is that Shikai has terrible memory and weak common sense. Sometime amusing and sometimes amazing, there are many moments you wonder how the woman gets through life. XD
Goals: . Meeting new people/friends . For Anika to grow to be big, bright, and beautiful

"Wild Things" Name: AnikaStage: Child Gender: Female Color: Angelic Birthdate: September 28, 2007 Emergedate: October 1, 2007
Personality: Appears to have a delicate personality but soon you'll learn that she can be very curious and rather mischievious. She tends to enjoy quietly analyzing things before reacting to situations. One thing that has developed is her tendency to demand attention and will become extremely jeolous of others (perhaps a quality to grow out of).
Likes: Shiny objects, cold days, annoying Rahu Dislikes: Bugs
Relations: Rahu - brother Kasha - younger sister

Name: KashaStage: Child Gender: Female Color: Stripped Birthdate: October 14, 2007 Emergedate: November 25, 2007
Personality: Kasha is the sweetest little thing and fairly weak mentally. She's easily influence and easily frightened. Despite her best attempts to stand up for herself, any strong word or tone can send her backing down. To add the the problems, Kasha is very gulible. She'll believe anything you tell her and even if she knew the truth before, with little persuasion, she'll believe you!

Personality: He has a calming personality, never too excited over one thing and always moving to the next interesting object. Over time, he began to develope a strange sense of humor (most times can be concidered sarcasm) that can spur a chuckle or two. However, beneath all that insulting directed towards Anika (mostly), Rahu cares deeply for his adopted family and can get pretty scary if any of them are messed with. (Shikai finds it endearing XD)
Likes: Color black and red, spiders Dislikes: bright, shiny objects

#1: "Anika meaning Grace and Beauty"
It was one of those days where the sun hung lazily over the world and cast a gentle ray onto the land. It was a good, peaceful moment without the usual rushed atmosphere that seemed to hang over the past few days. I can't seem to remember clearly the last time I sat down and embrace the moment for what it offered or the world for what it is. And yet, here I am now seated under the light shadow of the canopy of tree branches swaying overhead.
It had not been too long ago that I encountered that curious little shop. Never before in my frequent walks have I remembered its presence. However, I could see why. It was small and inviting, drawing no large attention to its presence. It seemed as though the landscape would swallow it back up if I turned my attention away from it for too long. If it had been any usual day, I would have overlooked the shop and walked on. However, this day was different; different in a quiet and subtle way. My legs itched to move towards it and my mind could not focus elsewhere.
'Why not?' I had asked myself and entered.
The small noise (perhaps a bell or just the click of the hinge) sounded my presence. Now, there was nothing out of the ordinary neither in that little shop nor in the keeper, a mellow and kind teen. What I did happen to notice is a beautiful creature (perhaps of the feline or fox or canine family) lurking about the perimeter. I made not dramatic indication of my curiosity but one thing did lead to another.
A 'pouch' sat before me and I believe I heard gurgling noises from behind the leathery material that encased the bottle-like shape. The Keeper made the situation clear while a superfluous amount of information was offered to me about the behaviors and such of the creature I would foster. I inclined my head respectfully and agreed to the terms.
Now I am the foster parent of a future wild Temeo. The keeper informed me it was a female so I had named it Anika meaning grace and beauty. One day when she grows up we will have to part ways; however, for now, I'll enjoy watching over her. Anika gurgled seemingly able to understand my emotions or perhaps making fun of me. Vaguely I wonder what she might look like once she grows past her current form. I lay my head down for a moment to admire the lovely wing design on the leather.

Karoish
Event! Vaporization.
It had only been a few days, the bottle soothed by the warm light of the sun, allowing the heat inside the leather-protected bottle rise steadily. On the fourth day, the so far very mellow and calm bottle began to stir. It bubbled more, hissed a little, made strange crackling sound every other while. The creature within was ready to come out-- and it was eager to do so.
Heating abruptly, the bottle gave a low whistle, the kind you'd get when blowing into an empty bottle while mist like steam began pouring out of the tap. And, before long, the vapor took the shape of the creature it had been made to be.
Congratulations, your tender loving care has made your Temeo emerge. If image appears a bottle, please refresh.

#2: "Those Intelligent Blue Eyes "
Four days had passed. It had passed too slowly and too painfully. It almost felt as though time had stopped moving forward and I was stuck in an awkward limbo of life. It was only times like these, taking my morning walk, where I seemed to get anywhere. The covered bottle in my hands swished quietly with my easy strides.
Today felt different from all those other days and all those other rocks. It seemed my body was overly sensitive to the heat in the air and the rough texture of leather in my hands. A single bead of sweat rolled down from the side of my face, forcing me to cradle Anika and wipe my head with my free hand. I turned from the beaten path to where I knew a small free-running river flowed by. I set Anika down for a moment and leaned my small figure over and dipped my fingers into the cool liquid. A smile adored my face and soon I was frantically splashing water all over my face.
I was, at that moment, unaware of the changes occurring in the bottle I fostered for the past four days. The liquid inside the bottle gurgled, bubbled, and crackled as a mist-like formation drifted and lurked from the opening. Just in time, I turned to check on my little one and suddenly realized what was happening. "Oh! Uh… Wait, wait…. Er…" I suddenly couldn't remember what to do and the bottle seemed to hiss at me in impatience. "Oh, be patient!... Ah!" (Yes, I am aware I was talking to a bottle). I tugged the tie at the top and tugged the pouch open as I had been instructed.
I sat and watched. Steam poured from the opening and danced about the air for a moment as though frantically trying to grab solidity and form a proper image of the child Temeo. Hints of color flickered with an occasional evidence of fur and gleaming blues flashed from the misty form. Two blue orbs flickered like a broken bulb and I realized it was Anika's lovely eyes blinking rapidly, trying to comprehend the sight before her while her body became clear and beautiful.
She was a sight for sore eyes. Overeagerly, I scooped her delicate form up and ran my fingers through the softness of her dull golden fur. She was motionless for a moment as her blue eyes took in everything around her. I could most see the little gears in her head start turning. When she grew tired of my embrace (it didn't take long), Anika wiggled free and dropped onto the ground gracefully then stumbled to the water. Apparently, she had been curiously watching it for a while now.
"Don't fall in, Anika," I warned.
Anika turned her head towards me, her body still crouched, and looked at me with those intelligent eyes as though noticing, with familiarity, the sound of her name. "Aae… ni-i-ka."
I smiled, "Yes, Anika." "Anika," She said more clearly and cheerfully.
She was a frighteningly fast learning, soaking every word I said like an empty sponge. Soon, I had to watch what I said in relation to what I did so that she wouldn't make the wrong connection. However, surprisingly, many words where familiar to her as though she had obtained a muffled version of words and phrases while she was in her pouch and all she needed was clarification. And before I knew it, her favorite words had become 'What', 'Shi-ma', and 'No'. 'Shi-ma' is apparently a mixture of my name, Shikai, and Mama.

#3: "Temeo Like Me " [Rahu and Kasha]
"Ne, Shi-ma, What is this?" Anika, her brilliant blue eyes, glowered brightly with the curiosity.
I looked up from my reading book and laughed lightly at her innocent appearance. Anika pawed at the leather wrapped bottle which held hints of dark strips suspended and lurking in the dark liquid. The liquid seemed to gurgle in slight annoyance as the bottle rocked slightly. I frowned at the winged temeo. "Be nice, Anika. She will soon be your sister, Kasha."
"Kasha?" Anika echoed, "Temeo? Like me!"
"Yes, very much like you," I put my book down as Anika neared be, pushing the bottle along with her. The liquid rumbled in a lighter tone when I picked it up and set it beside me and next to the clear bottled Rahu.
The wild temeo jumped into my arms and snuggled into my embrace. She looked smugly at the two bottles. Already, Anika started showing hostility towards the two bottles, jealousy towards any attention directed towards them (attention she fully believes belongs to her). However, her growing independence is also becoming more and more noticeable. I guess it’s a give and take situation.
"Tell me a story, Shi-ma." Came a request as I lifted her into her makeshift bed.
"Sure."

#4: "Battle of the Temeos" [Kasha]Time passed by like a gentle breeze, light and gentle in its touch but fleeting and untouchable. The once small and flimsy form of Rahu had grown and matured significantly. Much to Anika’s displeasure, he had grown even taller than her (although I’ve sure she hadn’t reached her full height yet).
"Rahu! Where on this forsaken planet did that evil child run off to?!" Anika came wandering in apparently looking for Rahu. I laughed; apparently, the wild still thought of the black temeo as a kid even though he was clearly full grown now.
"Look, dear, do you think it has some resemblance?" I showed her my sketch of her (look at left) with a bright smile. The wild paused her search and glanced at the drawing. She looked contemplative for a moment before nodding, accepting the fact that was her. I chuckled and admired the picture, holding it up to compare it with the real thing. Well, it was close!
"Shikai! Help me find him!" Anika nagged me, and apparently would continuing nagging until I stood to help her. She had long since dropped her cute slang, Shi-ma, a week or so ago.
I stood to help. Usually I'm not nearly such a pushover since that would only spoil the poor dears; however, I see less and less of Anika and her asking me for help is a rare incident. Of course I knew why she wanted me to tag along. She actually already knew where her brother was; however, was intent on using my authority to get her way.
"So, Ani, what's this about? And where’s Kasha?" I had left the bottled wild in Anika’s tender care since she is usually intent on taking care of her fellow, un-emerged wild.
"That’s the problem! Rahu stole her!" Anika huffed in irritation was she led me out of the house.
By now, I can see the passive form of a dozing Rahu with Kasha tucked near his body. I smiled at the cute site, but Anika glared. The winged temeo darted towards her brother, wanting to pounce on his offending form, however, restrained her in fear of harming the gray liquid.
Being ever evil, I untucked Kasha and took her in my arms. Rahu perked his ears opened an eye. Before he could process what had happened, Anika launched herself on him and all hell broke loose. "Gah, Ani! Get off!" Of course, it was all for play and intimidation.
I sat to the side on the green grass with Kasha’s bottle besides me. It gurgled in a form of amusement and happiness. I vaguely wondered when the new wild temeo would emerge.

Event! Vaporization.
Crackling softly under the watchful eye of her sister, the bottle shook a little, feeling warmer than usual. Gradually it kept getting hotter and hotter, the liquid within starting to change shape. It let out a small whistle as the vapor began pouring out.
Writhing and swirling, the smoky grey vapor gathered about in one spot, slowly shaping out a new Temeo that, soon enough, stood there blinking.
Congratulations, spending time with the others has encouraged your Temeo to emerge. If image appears a bottle, please refresh.

#4: "Just Another Day in the Life of Temeos"
"SHIKAI!" A scream pierced through the unsuspecting morning silence as a darting figure feel into the room with an umph. I groaned in annoyance, checking the flashing clock that read 6:00 am. It’s official. Life hates me.
"What is it, Ani?" I asked while proceeding to wrap myself in something puffy and warm. I knew whatever Anika wanted from it, I’ll force me to get out of bed anyways.
"Come on, ma! Faster, faster!" and what did I tell you? I followed her with a yawn keeping up with her easily considering her small legs. Soon we entered the 'temeo room' (yes, original, I know) and I noticed Rahu also awake and crouching next to something that was producing some kind of smoke. At first I though it was a fire.
"Oh gosh!" "Isn’t it cool?" "What on the blue planet are you burning?!" Anika gave me an odd look and I looked back. Apparently it wasn't what I though. "I mean… what's going on?"
Rahu finally spoke up. "Kasha's emerging!"
Now, it was my turn to be ecstatic. The three of us huddled around the emerging temeo watching Kasha take form. As the little temeo appeared, I gentle cradled her in my arms. “Welcome to the family!”

[Shikai is back! –runs around happily and hits a wall- Yay!] #5: "Instanity Has Company"Kasha turned out to be a fairly gentile little thing that, despite her shy personality, enjoyed her time alone. Unlike how Anika was when she was young, following me all around, Kasha liked being independent. This personality, however endearing, also started to pose a problem. You see, the little black wild temeo is easily influenced. A sweet word or two would be enough to take advantage of the little thing. I sigh at the troubling thought.
Once I heard Kasha's pitiful cries over my novel, I was worried. I looked up over the pages of Black Beauty to see the dark temeo, Kasha, crying with a nervous looking Rahu over her. I sighed and put down my novel to investigate. "Alright, Rahu. What did you do?"
The domestic temeo looked shocked then annoyed and glared towards Anika who looked much too innocent. "Anika?"
"I didn't do anything!"
"Yea right! Kasha fell cause of you!"
"Shut it, Rahu. If you hadn't scared me…"
"If you hadn't been up there!"
I sighed. "Let me guess. Anika was in the tree which I told her not to climb and Kasha tried to follow. You, Rahu, started lecturing her causing her to throw unpleasant facial expressions at you causing you to somehow scare her out of the tree which caused her to hit Kasha which caused Kasha to fall?"
The two bickering creatures were quiet. "Dang, ma. You're good."
I rolled my eyes then picked up Kasha gentle patting the poor temeo. "Are you alright, Kasha?" She nodded. "I'm fine, ma. It wasn't Anika or Rahu's fault."
"I'll be the judge of that." Then I turned to Anika. "And I know just what to do with you! Bathtime!"
"No!" she cried pitifully while trying to escape. However, I managed to grab the back of her neck and 'lead' her 'gently' towards the house. Rahu started laughing until I called over my shoulder, "You're next!"
