Every year I give out gifts to everyone I know on Gaia, and I give as much as I humanly can. Last year I gave out over 150 presents to people, and spent well over 300K total x-x;
I start every year by making a new outfit to represent myself as Santa Sage ('cuz that's what I usually get called :3) and I get the outfit, then sell off a chunk of my inventory to get funds to get gifts for everyone. I would normally keep it limited to my friendslist, but the PPS has been so kind to me this year, I'm spreading my love to you!
Whether I know you or not, I will do my very very best to get everyone (or almost everyone!) a present in the guild this year!
I'm starting early because I need to get funds quick so I can make a list of everyone who asks for a present ('cuz I obviously don't know everyone here, because I'm not psychic o.o; ) and then write down what everyone wants, and then determine the overall cost.
Like I said, I might not be able to get gifts for everyone. I still have almost 200 people on my friendslist I need to give gifts to as well, but as I said, I am sure as hell gonna do my best! >3
I will accept donations in any shape or form, 'cuz I honestly don't care XD Anything helps!

Restrictions on Presents:
1) Has to be able to be bought in stores only! X-x; I'm not rich enough to give everyone sealed envelopes. I can't even afford one for myself.
2) Mind you, I have to get 200+ gifts for people this year, so the maximum I'm allowing for costs of each item is 5K.
3) If you want gold for Christmas, the max I can give you is 5K.
4) Please PM me and tell me what you want, because I'm so busy with college and my job that I won't be able to check the thread all the time. I do, however, check my PMs daily (even if it's brief), and almost always reply back.
5) If you wish to be one of Santa's Little Helpers (as in, someone who will help me get gifts if I am running low on funds), please PM me and wear green xD Once I have a list of everyone's things in Late November to Early December, I will forward all of Santa's Little Helpers a list of the gifts each person will receive and their Gaia username.

We create a thread where people sign up for it.
Then, a secret little commitee rolls dice or gets random numbers or
sommat to see who gives to who.
Then each person is notified via PM who they have to give to.
We can choose if we want them to give little things for a while, then a
big gift, or just a great big gift.
Personally, I lean more towards the little thingies and then a big gift.
And the gift(s) would be given through anonymous giftboxes.
And each gift would have to contain a small anonymous note for the gift reciever.
And we could use the event subforum to put everything.

Like, early or mid December.
Sometime when nobody is on vacation or anything of the sort.
Because...the start of November is Dia de Muertos.
{holiday clash gonk }
And that's only supposed to be the 2nd, but a lot of people {myself
included} continue to celebrate untill almost the 10th.

I vote for the twelve days of Christmas, personally. Eleven very small gifts and then one bigger one. Like, eleven gifts under 5k (one gift could be 100gold one day and another 2k then next, etc...) and then one gift under 20k or something. The big gift could be on Christmas or Christmas Eve, depending on which is better for people. I'll happily set it up if people are interested. I <3 Christmas!

Uuuuugh, I wanna cry.
I might have to bail on this.
Cause we're going to Mexico City for Christmas Eve and Day and all the posadas.
I think there are nine or so. My family usually does five or six.
I think we're going around mid-December or so.
And then my parents are taking us on vacation to an Internet-less place.
So I might not be able to come on every day to give my friend a present.
Nor could I be on every day to recieve my present.
And the whole Christmas Eve thing...
I don't really think I could get on the computer on that day.
Or on Christmas Day, for that matter.
I'd just...rather spend time with my family than go on the computer.
No matter how much I love all of you <33

they live in Mexico City and all.
So....yeah.
Even if I possibly can't make it, I'd love to help organize it.
Is that ok?
Twelve days of Christmas sounds fiiiiiine to me.
And the increasing present size too.
Should we pick a monies limit per day?
'Cause somebody might be spending 5k a day, and somebody else might
want to spend only 500g a day....

OH, and what about like a little "fund" for the poor?
I have a little over 5k now.
Could get to 10k by November.
But there are definitely peopleout there with little or no money.
And no good strategy to get some.

Well... we could set up the limits like:
Day 1 = 100gold
Day 2 = 250gold
Day 3 = 500gold
Day 4 = 750gold
Day 5 = 1000gold
Day 6 = 1250gold
Day 7 = 1500old
Day 8 = 1750gold
Day 9 = 2000gold
Day 10 = 3000gold
Day 11 = 4000gold
Day 12 = 15000gold
Also, if you still want to participate but can't be around that day, what if I created a mule and you guys gave your gifts to me when you can't be there? I could send them out for you...? I'll look into the no gold issues. Maybe I can contribute gold to those with problems.
