Well Death note is coming to adult swim. I'm sike for this and I know a lot of others are.
I just hope they don't mess up the transaltions and choices of voices.
And which company is going to do all the transaltions and picking the actors for it? Cause I can't find out who.
What do you guys think? And whose voice you hope they do the best on?

Well going by the first episode great translation and very fitting voices. Much better then the voices used in the trailer thats for sure. Here is the first episode of the dub if you care. Don't worry it's legal.

I'm not excited for this that much.
It kinda' means more teeny boppers spinning around me and I hate that.

Fairy_Sage I'm not excited for this that much. It kinda' means more teeny boppers spinning around me and I hate that. -_-;; But I go with, "Leave me alone and I leave you alone." But the Japanese version and the fan subs bring in plenty of annoying fans anyway. Plus the dub does mean more intelligent fans too and a new intelligent fan is worth a good dub if you ask me.

it actually turned out pretty good, I'd say. I mean...I hate Light. He's so...power hungry...and like...L...if I hadn't seen him before, I wouldn't think he was hot. xp

He's so...power hungry...and like...L...if I hadn't seen him before, I wouldn't think he was hot. xp Actually turned out good? ok I'm using my biased opinion here but since most dubs are good not it's no surprise that Death note which is being done by the best dubbing company in North America, Ocean Group is more then good. Gawd, people(to some) needs to stop having such high expectations towards dubs. It's starting to get annoying.
The old dubs we're indeed traumatizing but things have changed and most dubs these days are actually really good. -_-;;

High expectations for dubs? if anything people have too low of expectations. Some people expect every single dub to suck no matter what. There are people who think every dub is edited and butchered. I agree with the second part.
