As a foal, Aureate had gotten into his share of trouble.. He'd met more than a few friends, seen as much as he could, and learned that sometimes it was better to stay where your guardians could watch you... Not that THAT lesson ever stuck... Soaring above the land he had explored nearly every inch of, he angled his wings and spiraled down to one of his favorite waterfalls... At sunrise the light painted the water the most lovely gold... Deep and vibrant... And at sunset, the gold returned, then slowly faded to violet, and then black... It was almost sunset. "Right on time..." He murmured.

At least someone was, she snorted as she tossed her mane. Warm amber colored eyes scanned over the forests thickness, last time she decides to walk over fly the mare thought to herself as she shook her head and rolled her eyes at herself.
Finally the sound of the waterfall danced in her ears, with a more detirmened look upon her face she pushed onward, twigs snapping under her hooves, breaking free she shook out her coat and spied the stallion she'd been coming to meet. "Better late than never hmm?" she smirked with a smile as she trotted towards him.

Folding his wings and turning, Aureate smiled at the golden face that peeked through the trees. A familiar figure, far more exquisitely lovely with time... Grown from filly to mare... "Zarimunia.." He breathed, smiling widely. "No, not late... I just arrived myself... You did not find the trip too difficult, did you?" He tilted his head, smiling at her.

She'd forgotten she hadn't seen him since she was naught but a foal. She shook out the leaves and twigs that had gotten tangled into mane and tail, she checked herself over, and with a happy nod she turned her attention back to the stallion before her.
"No it wasn't. Though, next time I'll just take the sky route." She smiled, tossing her long bangs out of her face. "Its a delight to see you again Aureate." She sent him one of her devilish smiles.

Aureate grinned, watching her shake off the foliage that had tangled into her silken hair on her trip through the woods. Zarimunia -or Zare, as he called her in his head- was another lovely mare.. One of his good friends.. Maybe one of his greatest friends... And she was really, really, pretty... He shook his head, ducking slightly. "Yes, the, err, the 'sky-way' is much easier than trying to find this place by hiking... I hope you didn't have too much difficulty..." He tilted his head at her. "Your family is well, I take it?"

"The trip was fine, cant fly everywhere, its good to know my way on the ground as well." She blew her bangs out of her face with a huff. Even though Chepi wasnt her blood mother, she'd gotten the same long silken hair as the sunset colored mare.
A grin tugged her muzzle, "My mother is expecting." Zarimunia had to be the most excited sibling ever about all of this.
She eyed the stallion before her, he was one of her more darker coated friends, she liked that about him. Aure is what she called him, to his face, around others and to her mother, she giggled. "How is your family Aure?" she asked as she came up beside him and nipped at his wings playfully.

"Congratulations on having siblings..." He rumbled, grinning. "My own parents are trying again... You would have thought my father learned better his first two times..." He winked. "But apparently that is not the case."
When she nipped at his wings, he spread them high, chuckling and nipping back at her's. One of the few he knew with wings... Zare was something else. "Atum is in love... And.. Betrothed... I've never seen him so happy..." It shot a pain through his deep chest, which he swallowed with a toss of his head. "And Isis is as ornery and grumpy as ever... But my parents are well..." And still so madly in love...
