If all the main characters of Final Fantasy had a battle royal who do you think would win?
My money is on Cloud.

to be honest, i'd put my money on Terra Branford, in esper form, of course. her overwhelming magic power and extremely high physical attack power in that form would make her nearly unstoppable! put her in Magitek Armor, and she's still just as lethal!

Roel22 My money would go to yuna the bad a** gunslinger....former summoner.... Yuna's got nothin' on Terra! Seriously, Terra's half-esper! There's no way Yuna could beat that, where she's no longer a summoner!

DM Draco Moondragon Roel22 My money would go to yuna the bad a** gunslinger....former summoner.... Yuna's got nothin' on Terra! Seriously, Terra's half-esper! There's no way Yuna could beat that, where she's no longer a summoner! Yeah, no offense but Yuna...well....she sucks as a fighter. But if you want a really good X fighter, then Paine from X-2 is the way to go.

Well..main character doesn't have to be on the good side. Sephiroth has just a main character as Cloud was. He was the antagonist..Now onto topic, I would have to say Sephiroth especially in Bizarro Sephiroth form.

RyuKokoro Well..main character doesn't have to be on the good side. Sephiroth has just a main character as Cloud was. He was the antagonist..Now onto topic, I would have to say Sephiroth especially in Bizarro Sephiroth form. I am sorry to inform you, but that is incorrect. Sephiroth is the antagonist, not the protagonist, which is the direct definition of a main character. Now if it was the main character and villian, then there would not be a problem with this statment. However, I feel it is only right to strighten the facts out. Yes, the main character must be on the good side. At least on the good side of the story that is introduced. So no, the antagonist is not considered as a main character. It is a hard decision, but it is tie between Terra and Zidane. Yes, strength is everything, but what is strenthing if the person you are trying to slice is out of your distances or is faster then you? What good is strength if you cannot catch the person that you desire to hurt? Which is why I am having a hard time choosing between the two.

Fair point, but in a straight battle, catching them is a lot easier; they'll be coming after you. I have to say Cloud, because he manages to cut through whole skyscrapers with a five foot sword.

Ah, but had you not seen Advent Children, would this still apply? See, that is the thing. Since Final Fantasy VII as more screen time, run offs, and spin offs, it is only natural that fans of that specific serie will choose the it's hero as the more powerful one out of them all. If Final Fantasy VIII had a movie which showed Squall acquire more skills and move at a fast rate, the fans would view him even more of a bad a** then he is now and cooler then any other main character. Now, my favorite series was the first one. Final Fantasy. There is no specific main character, and you get to choose who you want for a team. If there was a spin off of that (Which is Dissidia, but that will be with all the Final Fantasies, yes, seven included...) I would be in complete bliss. But I digress. Which is why I am stick with the games and not it's spin offs. But even though you say they attack in a stright line (though I do not believe in such a thing when it actually comes to battles), yea Cloud might have struch Terra or Zidane down. But who is to say one of those two (who ever he goes up against) won't strike him first?
