NOTE FROM STAFF: This is an open RP, not an official landmark thread for more than a one-time use. (Editted by Tahja.) haha, "orp"Although settlements are nearby, this secluded area is land equally between the borders of the North and South regions. The wilderness here is open, and fair game for all totems. There is an unspoken bond between totem groups, packs, or prides that the area will remain unclaimed, so that cultural exposure is availble for everyone through this neutral area.
Varying bushes of a fruitful bounty line the opening of the wilderness. Rocks are scattered within and around the area as well. Although, perhaps described as the coziest spot to relax away from your human, or just relax away from the world, is a nook in between a fallen tree and the earthy back to a ridge on the west side of this clearing. *Please follow UNL rules (As well as Gaian)(not for my sake, for your own)*And just to make things easier, consider posting a certed/ uncerted picture of whom you are role-playing in his or her first rp post, to help designated who is being who, or what color who is. smile *Also, if you would like to add to, or change anything I've posted here, please pm me and tell me to do so!

Kaya crefully stepped away from the treeline of the Wildernes. She quickly glanced around before darting to take shelter behind another bush. She wasn't afraid of The Open, she just liked to make dramatic entrances if there was a dog she knew there. If there wasn't, well she didn't like attention from strangers all that much so she kept to the bushes. It was always fun to creep around a bit and try not to get noticed, to see how long she could pull it off. So that what she did just then; hide, dash, hide, dash.

Manirak was a happy fellow -- carefree, and quirky in the most endearing way. It was seldom the brightly hued pup was seen not sporting a grandious smile, or wagging his bushy tail. His gray eyes always held a twinkle, and a little hop was always in his step. It was just this way that he entered The Open.
"hmmm,hmm,hm,hmm,...ah?" She stoped his humming as he caught a quick speck of something. "Hey, who's out there?" He called, staying where he stood, while keeping an eye on the bush he thought the movement went toward. Receiving no reply, he took a step foward, and lowered his chest to the groud, hind end to the air, and wagged his tail. "Awww, c'mon! Answer me. I know I saw somethiiiiiing!" Though now he was begining to have his doubts. Maybe it was just some little animal, like a mole? Nah, the movement was to big for that! Still,....

Taking a few leaps away from her family, Tulukaruk found herself in the midst of an adventure. It wasn’t hard for her imagination to take the sparse shrubbery around her and turn it into a vast jungle across the world. Plants of a nonexistent nature sprouted up on all sides of her, as she plunged into a Jem heisting adventure.
She panted a few breathes, then realized the natives would hear her. They might catch her and boil her right up when if found her! Tulu crouched, and dragged her soft pup belly along the moist ground. Her mouth shut, and eyes wide, her sense were all pointed to the one aspect of finding the priceless “Ughamendapuubaaterila” Jem.
A vibrant spot of blue through the leaves. Had she found it? Tulu stopped, and lay flat on the ground, lower than even the “Lowedowney Banana” roots of her jungle.
Her tongue flicked out to lick away contrasting scents that tickled her nose, then she leaped out onto the pup known as Manirak. Time to put an end to this Jem Hunt.

There was something so inviting about the open land that even Kin, who was something of a recluse, liked to stroll by every now and again on his endless journeys from the wilderness, to the north lands and then, because he felt it was necessary, to the south. It was a wonderful place to meet other dogs from every direction and, though he wasn't the friendliest of dogs, the red and white colored male would never deny the fact that even he could use some company once in awhile.
He moved fluidly, with the grace and ease of a practiced hunter, and stopped at the very edge of the border. A pair of haunting, experienced green eyes raked across the open lands, for any sign of an opportunity to mingle.
There were several pups littered across the open land; all of which appeared to be lost in their own little worlds. Kin remained where he stood, tall and stiff. He'd never been very good with kids.

'Naw, shucks...caught already!' Kaya blew out a disapointed breath and started to rise when she had an idea. She almost giggled but managed to hold it back. She waited untill the wind shifted and was blowing toward the pup that had just found her out. "Yooooou saaaaaaaw noooothiiiing." She tried to make her voice as quiet and whisplike as she could, letting it carry over to the pup. Maybe she could fool around a bit more before leaving the bushes.

Manirak was about to call out once more to the bushes, when he was suddenly pounced upon. "Wh-WAAAAA!" He tumbled to the ground. "Heeeeey!" He attempted to get up to his feet, before his ears caught the voice from the bushes, emidiately looking back towards them. "Huh?"
He blinked a couple of times, before looking back to the dark-colored pup that had pounced him. "Er, Hiya, there! M'name's Manirak! You can call me Mani!" His gaze flicked back and fourth between his dark peer, and the bush. "say, um, did you hear something a second ago?"
Manirak was completely unaware of the adult lurking near by,...

Shtiya padded into the clearing and gazed around. She took note of the adult on the other side and a pup that she didn't know. Her ears flipped back in agitation when she saw a dark pup tackle. 'Oh, great...I came here to gat away from my family, not spend more time with them!' With a sigh The black teen turned to the adult and walked over, nodding to her little sister on the way. She padded up to the red and white dog and bowed her head in greeting. "Hello, my name's Shtiya, what's yours?" What she really wanted was a dog her own age to talk to, but her brother was getting to annoing.

The black pup panted and tilted her head. She barked then said, "I'm Tulooooo!" Tulukaruk tossed her rump up and jumped her forepaws out in play position. "And yes," she closed her mouth and straightened her brow. "Yes I did".
Tulu stood up. She dropped her shoulder and picked her paws up in a snooty trot. Her nose fell, parrallel with the dirt beneath her shadowy paws. She then screeched to a halt. Her back legs, seeming with a mind seperate from the front, where caught off gaurd and Tulu's butt fell into her shoulders. Her hips collapsed under her, and Tulu just continued sniffing the spot of dirt. "Got a scent I bet so!" She nodded at Manirak.

"Nice name, Tulooo, heheh!" Manirak replied, mimiking her 'play' position, remaining in such till the dark pup stood, watching her lil trot. His ears perked when he heard she had a scent.
"Awesome!" He bound over, tail wagging and eyes alight with seemingly never-ending energy. "Let's follow it!" This little game of hide-and seek was going to be fun!

Kaya's eyes widen as she realised the other two pups were headed towards her. She managed to back up silently untill hre hind paw broke a twig. she winced and waited with baited breath to see if they had heard it; the wind wasn't in her favor either.

Tulukaruk bounded forward, clearing the bush in front of her rather clumsily. Her nose dragged along the floor, a “sniff sniff sniff” coming from her nostrils with every other step. The dirt she sniffed into shivered away from the breath erupting from her wet nose, and Tulu caught the scent even more so. The stopped, and wide eyed looked at an emerald pup not ten strides away.

Manirak's ears perked at the sound of the snapping twig, and it seemed at that moment Tulu had bounded fourth. He followed behind her, and in spotting the green-pelted pup, gave a grin.
"Hiya! Knew I saw sumthin'. It was you, wasn't it!?" He shifted his weight from one fore paw to the other, happy as could be. "M'name's Manirak!" He introduced himself to Kaya.

Kaya had shut her eyes, hoping that would make her invisible to the outside world; obviously not. She peeked through an eyelid when she heard the shuffling of the other pup stop. Upon seeing the black pup she let out a sigh at being caught. 'Oh well, maybe I can make some new friends!'
Right then, the blue pup came through the bushes and started talking really excidedly, all the while never ceasing his movements. Kaya laughed at his antics and answered with a grin. "Yeah, it was me. My name's kaya, nice to meet you!"
She didn't have quite the excitement the other two had, due to her shy personality at first. She turned to the darker pup and cocked her head to the side, studying her. "You've got quite a nose there, what's your name?"

Tulukaruk let out anouther howl, "Toluuuu!" She panted and bounded forward, her log legs reaching out underneath her. Within a few strides she hit the green pup. Her bark translated into "nice to meet you Kaya!" Her tail wagged and her rump wriggled, so excited to have met two friends already today.
