Dinah sat, staring boredly at the street infont of her house. It was odd actually being there since she rarely ever was. She had been up very late working on her fields and today one of her hired hands was tending to the fields that day to give her a break since she hadn't been feeling very well lately. She coughed lightly and grimace and glanced in the direction of the castle, a frown crossing her lips. With a sigh Dinah got up and started walking, getting one of her many 'itches'.

Topaz leaned in the shadow of the house and watched the girl stand and move down the street. looking around and debating whether to follow her or not. deciding that she had nothing better to do, the blonde pushed off the building and headed after the stranger, not even wondering why.

Yuuki had spent quite a few days at the bar, taking care of orders and maintaing the tavern. The manager asked for him to stay and work her for as long as he wants. Yuuki laughed at the idea. He was a wanderer and wanted not to live a life where there is nothing but rotine. That was what he had always said to himself. But, he knew that was not something worth thinking about.

kirarose10 Yumioko sat in a tree near the outskirts of town. She took a deep breath of fresh air, looking out at the tall mountains in the distance. She picked up the icy blue and white guitar in front of her and began playing and singing "I'm Going Home". ((go on my profile to hear it)) This was a way for her to relax, and get her thoughts together. ENFORCER TIME!! SERIOUSLY WE ARE IN THE OLD DAYS, LIKE MEDIEVAL TIMES! YOU THINK THEY HAD GUITARS? I DON'T THINK SO, DON'T GO AWAY FROM THE TIMES!

Karen sat on a bench, muttering to herself.
"I've looked all over this place. There's no sign of him anywhere, I can't even find the rare jewel that was supposed to be here. Those dirty lying..."
Something in her pouch squirmed. She looked at the small, burlap sack. Out popped the head of a small white kitten with a black spot around its left eye. It mewed.
I'm hungry. What's to eat?
"Not now, Sharkie." Karen groaned. Her day was bad enough as it is.
But I'm huuuuuuuuungry!
"I think that's already been established, now go back inside the bag or no supper for you."
Fine. Be that way.
He pulled himself back inside the sack. Karen closed her eyes and sighed. This was definitely not her day.

Yumioko passed many homes. She stretched and yawned. She sat down on the bench that Karen was on, looking around at the people walking by. She thought about where to go next. Maybe I should go visit my family back at the village in the mountains, she thought. She looked over at Karen and then looked down at her feet. A strong wind blew and dust from the road swirled up into the air. She sniffed and glanced at Karin's pouch. Something in there smelled of... cat?

Racie rode into the town to acquire her position as a new maid. She had heard rumors about the black night, Zack Blade, but she wasn’t sure if he was there or not…

Sharkie poked his head out of the bag once more, sniffing the air.
What is this strange thing I smell?
He looked around, sniffing until he spotted Yumioko. He lept out of the sack and bounded towards her.
"Wha-? Get back here!" Karen yelled running after the black and white kitten.

Yumioko looked at the kitten and caught it in her hands. "Whoa, kitty," she said, looking at it. "So this is who I smelled." She held it out to Karen. "Is her yours?" she asked with a laugh.

Karen laughed nervously.
"Yes. He tends to be...overly curious." He sniffed a bit more and licked Yumioko's hand.
Hmmmm...
"C'mon Sharkie. Time to go." He mewed.
I don't think so.
"Come here Sharkie." Karen said in a fake, sugary sweet vioce in an attempt to mask her frustration. She held out her hand.
Shark attack!
The kitten bit her hand.
"Ow! Sharkie!" Sharkie purred contentedly.

"Feisty little guy, huh?" Yumioko said, reaching down and stroking his back. "He's so cute." She reached into her bag and pulled out a red apple. "Do you allow him to eat these? They're kind of a sugary-tasting type." She smiled softly down at him.

"I'll let him eat anything that doesn't kill him." Karen said. "Anything to make him stop nagging." Sharkie mewed in agreement.
See? Isn't everything easier when I get my way? Karen rolled her eyes.
Why can't I have a normal cat, like everyone else? She thought.
I heard that!
That's wonderful for you, isn't it?
Touchy. Sharkie proceeded to savagely tear away at the apple. Karen chuckled.
"At this point, I think you can guess how he got pegged with the name "Sharkie"." She said.
