The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down... Finally, it came to a complete stop. The field of choice was....THE WATER FIELD! TFive large platforms float on the surface of the deep pool, four forming a diamond formation around the single platform in the center. While land pokemon can move around on this field, it was mainly built for water-types. Rules prevent the freezing of the water.

((Roll a six sided die to see who goes first ))
Luna walked into the stadium happily dragging her opponent to the arena. She took her place on one of the pillars and waited for her opponent to get to the other side. "This will be a one on one battle, first person to be knocked out loses. Are you ready?" She asked.
Pidgeotto stretched his wings. He was already out since Luna had dragged her opponent to the stadium from Katrina. He circled around, waiting for his opponent.

Noah stepped in the arena. WATER AGAIN?! he thought. I'm not very lucky... He reached into his cape, and unhooked a small sphere. A closer look revealed an unactivated pokeball. He slid his finger over the the center. I'm not making that mistake again... He recalled throwing his pokeball and not opening it, from the previous battle. He pressed his thumb against the button, and the red beam took the shape of Delhia, his female Ponyta. He remembered Jed's determination. Would all Ponytas act this way? The shape solidified, and Noah stiffened.
"Delhia, take your place on the platform..." he mumbled. Surprisingly, Delhia didn't react. "Delhia, I said to jump onto the platform." he commanded, somewhat sterner. Still nothing. "Delhia, go!" The Ponyta jumped up, and ran to the platform. This was going to be troublesome...

((NOte for all onlookers, FED first rolled a six, then a one, so I go first :3 ))
"Okay! Let's cause some waves! Gust"
Pidgeotto let out his battlecry and then flapped its wings repeatedly to cause waves of wind to hit the water and, in turn, fairly large waves to be directed at the Ponyta.

Delhia was knocked off his balance and almost fell down by the forceful blow, but managed to stay put. She was good at defense, at the very least...
But the attack still did some damage. Delhia shrieked in pain, being the whiney Ponyta she was. "Ember! But we're going for a burn, so lighten up a little!" Noah quickly added. Ignoring orders, Ponyta went full force instead of going for a status effect. "Fool..." Noah thought.
[In case you didn't notice, I'm not rolling for burn because Delhia didn't follow orders. xD]

"Pidgeotto, try breaking through using wing attack!"
Pidgeotto stared at Luna as if she was crazy. 'Burn MY feathers?' It seemed to ask. But it complied anyways, seeming to have an inkling of love for battling in his heart. He broke through the fireblast attack, which hurt quite a bit, and flew towards the Ponyta with a swift wing attack.

Delhia was knocked back a little, but the attack wasn't nearly as strong as before, so they still had time to counter. Maybe if used reverse psychology? "Delhia, slowly use Flame Blast! Full force, don't hold back!" Delhia went fast and full force, just like last time. Maybe she didn't like being held back? A huge flame burst from her mouth, and hopefully it wasn't so strong it went off course...

"Pidgeotto, break through again with wing attack!"
Pidgeotto flew through the fire blast attack again, yet again hurting his feathers, and commenced to attempt to slice the Ponyta.

This time, Ponyta was forcefully whacked onto the platform to the left. "Kyaah!" it grimaced in pain. "Again! Flame Blast!" Noah was getting used to the full forced nature of Delhia, but it wasn't getting them anywhere. Maybe encouraging her would help...
"Delhia! We can do this! Give it your all!" It obviously wouldn't help, but still... Delhia turned her head to face the pidgeotto, and let out a smaller then before blast of fire. Noah sighed...
[You are using your Seel now, right? xD]

(( Nah, I did. I made it practically the same thing except with a different pokemon and attack. You may want to edit the "seel" part and it'll all be the same :3 ))
"Break through! Wing attack!"
Pidgeotto was getting use to the constant burn and ache. And he had to admit, it did feel satisfying whenver he landed a blow. Just as he reached the end of the tunnel of fire again, he reached out with his sharpened wings to slice his opponenet.
