Orion was hunting some mice, as he wasn't too hungry at the time. HE and his brother had settled a new pack wolf into their home. At least that was fine. Orion had wondered why his brother had been so... well angry at him for meeting her first. It had just happened to be his keen eyes. Time to drive such thoughts from his mind and focus on what he was doing.

The black wolf crouched silently and watched his prey skitter along the ground. Avoiding the tendency to lick his lips he listened quietly before making his move and making sure the mouse was away from any holes. Orion leapt and cut off the rodent's retreat, lashing his jaws foreword he clamped down upon the small creature.

Success...

Orion began to eat. The small creature was devoured in seconds as there wasn't much creature to be devoured. But still it filled the wolf as he wasn't too hungry.

Orion sniffed and made his way toward the watering hole. Orion sighed, he needed to speak to his brother and find out what was wrong. "Dear brother." he muttered quietly under his breath.

A familiar sent... He flicked his ears back, Raevyn? The black wolf looked around for the white and black wolf he had helped settle the other day. Maybe he would run into her eventually.

He continued toward the lake were he would get a drink.

Orion Slipped down the mountain swiftly like that of a hawk, he stopped abruptly in front of the lake and noticed Raevyn. "Good morning Raevyn." he said with a smile to the femme before lowering his head to lap up his own watter quenching his own thirst.

Pulling his muzzle from the water Orion shook his head "No I always get up this early." He told her. "Since mother and father are busy I need to patrol in their stead." he flicked his tail. He tilted his head slightly. "What about you? Arn't you up early?"

Orion nodded that was a good idea. The black wolf smiled "Do you want a guide?" he inquired flicking his long black tail. "You could assit me with my patrol duty." he said walking a few steps further into the water.

Orion smiled as his own taill stared wagging slightly. He walked forward a bit and grinned. "Come this way." he smirked dashing past her with a flick of his tail.

He flew by a set of trees to a hidden passage covered in foilage.

Judging by her surprise she never even knew this path was here. Orion smirked back. She was determined; he saw it in her two colored eyes. The black wolf ducked through another hidden crevasse this path was a bit rockier than the one covered in plant life. His sharp eyes enabled him to see better than most other wolves on top of that he was swift and graceful like that of a hawk in mid air.

“Catch me if you can.” He teased Raevyn.

Orion looked over his shoulder and noticed her catching up he smirked and made a sharp turn down a narrow corridor into the mountain. He grinned running faster.

Another sharp turn, but this one was almost missed. He growled a bit before regaining his momentum but he lost a lot of speed. He smirked widening his stride again. It would have given Raevyn time to catch up.
