READY.... BATTLE! Moves: Fake Out, Sing, Copycat, Doubleslap V.S  Moves: Ember, Quick Attack, Flamethrower, and Fire Spin Setting: Adrenaline is high... but will a nap take it away? Or maybe things will get a little crispy?

Battleground Selection!
Randomizer...start!
The dial turned quickly and soon slowed to... THE ROCK FIELD!
Tremors rippled forth from center-field as the basic floor shifted to a rock and dirt field, rock towers jutted forth from the ground to offer a place of escape or an attack advantage. The breeze from the stadium air conditioners stirred the loose sand on the field, this creates a mini sandstorm that could possibly blind those who were battling.

Battle....START!
The offical for the matched stepped up the plate, his blue-black uniform visual under the brilliant florenscent lights of the stadium. Clutching a flag in each hand, the young man glanced left and right before making the announcement to start. The deep voice echoed through the headset microphone and rang out from the stadium speakers.
"This is an offical stadium match! Each trainer may use only one pokemon each! There is no time limit! Are both trainers ready?"
At the confirming nods from both pokemon and trainer, he flicked both flags into the air; once both flags moved south, the battle could offically begin.

Jenette looked down at her vukpix who was ready at the sidelines. "Let's do this Venna!" She called down to her and got a strong, "Vulpix!" back.
Vulpix jumped out onto the field and barked loudly, small flames licking out of her mouth. She was ready for this!

Ayoka, enthusiast as ever, walked to the battlefield. To her this was a game. That didn't mean she didn't intend to win though! She stopped a few meters away from the vulpix and took on a fighting stance.
Evelyne smiled to herself. With their training, Ayoka knew a lot of powerful moves now! They'd win this!

"Alright Venna! Let's burn that skitty to the ground!" She shouted. "Fire Spin! Now!"
The vulpix held her ground and opened her maw, " VUUULLLL.... PIXXX!" A fiery blaze soon went spirling towards the skitty, with intentions to burn.

Ayoka dodged that attack, jumping over the flames. Unfortunally, the attack wasn't completely over when she got back on the ground, so her backleg's paws were burned a little. She let out a small whimper, shaking her paws in the air for a second or two.
"Ayoka, try putting her to sleep right away!"
Her paws still lifting one at a time, Ayoka looked intensely at her foe then let out a melodic "Kiiiiii..." it was only a few notes, but that was enough. Singing for a longer time didn't make it more likely to work, and if it didn't work, Ayoka would be exposed. That's why mastering this move meant being able to put your foe to sleep with even just one note if possible.

"Try and ignore it Venna!" She said, not knowing what to do as the singing even made her sleepy.
Venna tried to attack the skitty, but she slumped over and began snoring.

Evelyne could see this wasn't a deep sleep.. but it was better than nothing.
"Ok, double-slap, now!" she said, knowing this would probably wakes up the vulpix. Ayoka ran over to her foe and turned quickly to hit her with her tail. "One...", counted Evelyne in whisper, as Ayoka was about to hit. It would probably hit, wouldn't it?

The second Venna was hit she snapped awake and wanted to bite that tail. It hurt gosh darnit!
"Now that your awake Venna, hit that skitty with a quick attack!" Jenette was on edge now, she had been sleepy before but adrenaline was surging through her veins now.
Venna growled and charged at the little skitty that sent her to sleep.

Evelyne hadn't expected the vulpix to wake up so quickly. Ayoka, in very close range, was sent flying backward with the force of the attack. That had to hurt!
"Ayoka!" shouted Evelyne. The small skitty got up, looking shaken but she quickly got back into a fighting stance. "Ok, copycat now!" said Evelyne.
"Kiiii!" cried Ayoka as she charged back at the vulpix, with almost the same speed.

Venna jumped above the skitty at the last second to turn around and shoot a flamethrower at it.
"Good choice Venna!" Jenette cheered from her stand.

'Damn' thought Evelyne as the Vulpix dodged the copied quick-attack. The flames licked Ayoka on her left side. They didn't keep on burning, but a hairless spot followed by a line appeared. Ayoka cried out, obviously in pain. The visible skin was glowing with her burn.
"Oh no, Ayoka!" cried out Evelyne. The skitty turned to stare at her one second, then resumed her fighting stance, even though her front legs was trembling. 'I see. No way you'll give up, huh?' "Alright, fool that vulpix with fake out!" Ayoka nodded slightly, then she suddenly seemed to disapear. She was just very fast of course. She reappeared above the vulpix, and with a great movement of all her body, turned to slam her foe with her tail.
HP: 400/700 (burn 1/4)

Venna couldn't see where skitty was and soon was sent across the gravel after such an attack. Shaking free the dust she stood back up.
"Way to take one for the team Venna!" Jenette shouted down. "The skitty looks burnt already so hit it with a quick attack!"
Venna nodded and sought out the burnt spot. That was going to be her target. Charging now, she headed for her foe.
